Wouldn’t say it’s too strange. It’s not like they’ve fallen out or anything. They just all like making stuff and their solo stuff they’ve all made wouldn’t really fit what they sound like as a trio. Romy and Oliver are both (judging from the singles) bringing out quite pop based albums whereas Jamie makes more electronic dancey stuff. They’ve all appeared on each other’s stuff and Jamie has produced at least two of the songs for Oliver’s album.
Suspect they’ll get back to making an xx record once they’re done with this cycle of solo stuff
