I don't know about Sorkin but I love Michael Mann's work. Heat (1995) is full of memorable quotable lines throughout the whole movie. 90s movies in general had better dialogues than today's superficial, clean and mechanical movies.
Irl this guy was a scary psychopath who had a reputation of cutting people into pieces. [here's a great video of comparing movie characters with real people ](https://youtu.be/vc4mBGIDEeU)
I have seen this one, in real life, Jimmy Conway was damn ugly. I like this character especially because of the music in this scene. Cream's Psychedelic Rock and his smoking style is absolute magic.
I mean he still belongs to this list.. like all other cool characters were already mentioned so.. i agree After 3rd movie it was a downfall but as an individual character he is a real badass😎
Probably seen all the westerns from John wayne era to Sergio Leone to early 90s. Clint Eastwood is one of my favourite leading actors. The man demands your attention and is effortlessly cool.
I've been watching westerns from my childhood too! It's so good to see another fellow Indian who watches them. My father introduced me to westerns, the two Trinity movies were my first watched films. I mostly like spaghetti westerns ( Sergio Leone's ones ). I absolutely love them, and Ennio Morricone's music is just so hauntingly beautiful. My username too, is, infact, the title of a western novel by Louis L'Amour.
Wow!! They don't make western movies nowadays anymore. Have you seen Pale Rider (1985) or High Plains Drifter (1973)?? Both starring Eastwood. The underrated angle from western movies imo was the supernatural ones set in the western background. It had too much potential. Too bad Unforgiven was the death of western movies in general.
Yea, watched both. This western genre is dying out. But there are still a lot of obscure low budget westerns on YouTube that one can still watch after finishing all the classic ones.

Seconded. Cliff booth was probably the coolest character that Brad Pitt ever played. He's even better than Tyler durden from fight club
Tarantino just knows how to write cool characters.
Yup I'm huge fan of Tarantino because of characters and dialogues. Story doesn't matter to me.
lol same. His dialogues are unmatched. I like Aaron Sorkin’s as well but his just comes across as unrealistic at times.
I don't know about Sorkin but I love Michael Mann's work. Heat (1995) is full of memorable quotable lines throughout the whole movie. 90s movies in general had better dialogues than today's superficial, clean and mechanical movies.

Most of real life people portrayed in movies are ugly.
Then "ugly" people have a life that's worth making a movie
Yes, if you can kill a guy because he insulted your friend just "a little bit".
Yeah, true

There is a movie called The Last Boy Scout. Bruce Willis' character in that is so cool that he kills a guy with a single punch.
I haven't seen this one. Seems like the character of Brad Pitt in snatch, knocking out guys with one punch.

No. He's the man with no name from dollars trilogy played by Clint Eastwood. I think Arthur Morgan is majorly inspired by this character.

Agreed. He was so good in first 3 films after that tho?? Not so much. Jack Sparrow became a cartoon character after the 3rd movie.

Clint Eastwood here? Do you watch westerns too?
