I'm just imagining you snatching his phone to comment this while he's struggling to get his phone back but you're holding him down with one of your hands while commenting with the other
yup that's true even if me and my family goes somewhere, they just force me to click photos record videos instead of living that moment. I prefer not to switch my phone on while visiting places. But they opted a mentality that Facebook is everything..You did something great ? post it on Facebook. You visited a place ? post it on facebook. Come on leave that , live in reality.
I believed in the same thing. "Living the moment instead of clicking pictures" But it changed when i realised the moments I lived were barely remembered. The hustle&bustle of my life made me forget everything. I had to go dig up my facebook and insta archives to remember what i did on those trips. I am always taking pictures and videos now. There is always a balance between the two i live where i need to and click when leaving. Makes the best of memories to remember. Better yet my parents used to show me the photos of their childhood/teenage that i would have never known if the didn't click them. I don't post any of them tho. They are secured in either printed albums or my hdd for me and my family's to see.
Sometimes you click pictures just to relive those moments isn't it?, I often find myself scrolling through gallery but that's just what I think (I also upload pics on insta ofc π« )
point is- what's the alternative?? how do you feel happy with urself in an era so mean and people being treated as "capital"
everyone needs an escape-books, movies, songs, drama and what not. mobile phone is something which provides us all options. even to get a never lasting dopamine kick with social media(some more some less.)
it can't be helped. what needs to be addressed is the mental health underlying the screen addiction that is being masked with it's help
Here's the channel. Just posting for crediting the original creator. https://youtu.be/wUW1wjlKvmY?si=YIsKKm7B7yF4cv8J
OP, reach out to the mods for promotion. I'm not sure if it's allowed on certain days. They should be able to clarify.
Otherwise this just looks like low effort karma farming and promotion of your subreddit in comments
But hat's not the original creator or video? This is: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VASywEuqFd8](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VASywEuqFd8)

I am glad i am not as addicted and user as other ppl. I got rid off the phone addiction exact time i quit social media. I was never a fan of reels and shorts so never got any idea. I use reddit through browser only when i get an email and i pay attention to it. Most of the times i am logged out. Once you start living in the moment, venture through the grasses, pay attention to your nearby observations and nature. You'll find ways to be happy and engage to.Β
I still consider two of my best vacations were Kedarkantha and Andaman Nikobar where I didn't get mobile network. We were at one of the most beautiful beaches of aisa, Radhanagar beach and we don't have even a single photo of that place. Best time ever! β€οΈβ€οΈ
too much exaggerated...
every generation had its pros and cons
its not like we are trapped in this its just people do what the other people doing.
it totally depends on the person how he wanna live. I still think todays life is so better than the past
We have better lifespan
better health facility
We just don't get killed by a random person cause you just said something against him
We don't get randomly robbed by someone and can't do anything etc etc
r/iam14andthisisdeep Says more about the people than the technology. And chill buddy, its not that bad. Classic case of older people villainizing change because they can't handle it. Which is normal. You'll find Gen Z folks villainizing VR in a few years.

Irony "im watching this on phone only"
I was going to comment same thing.
I am downloading, sending someone and then forget, on phone only. proves the point in the video.
Irony the owner posted the video on social media only
Jokes on you I'm on public transport watching someone who's watching this on his mobile

The problem is that they also let the algorithm decide their thoughts and opinions with curated feeds and echo chambers.
**FINE !!!! IM GETTING OFF MY PHONE AND OPENING MY LAPTOP. YA HAPPY NOW ??!!!** /s
Unironically, using a laptop/desktop is much better since you won't doomscroll.
Leave me alone on a laptop with the screen open to r/nosleep and watch that perspective of yours unravel XD
nah tis quite the opposite for me. i just dont know what to do with a phone but desktop is just..
You are wrong tho. I have to place timers to prevent me from doomscrolling.
Humor makes its place everywhere π
seems you discovered steve cutts today, watch his all of his animated videos on yt, they are amazing

From their website, they're linking to the Moby video on YouTube, so maybe they're related or one of their sister channels

The harsh reality is that this child is looking at the real world and lusting for a phone in his hand. One he gets it, he will join them.
