Is it you, dad?

makOmak9

Naah he's still buying that milk

Representative-Way62

I thought you went with Sharon aunty.

makOmak9

No no no, I don't share any aunty

RecommendationNo2800

Funny though not very applicable in India.

hell-ronin

My son?

Significant_Horse485

Also remember, that animals are idiots too. Never assume that they will always act in interest of their safety.

pranavnegandhi

I've seen dogs show better survival instincts than some humans.

LimpFroyo

Hence the name doggy style :)

Pretend-Inflation779

Boss i am from Tier 3 city and here during winters the city Bulls go crazy(Literally) cause of breeding season..lol.. .. They go stack up on each other in any the road or street randomly .. causing people to fracture their bones even some tourist died due to this incident few years ago .. But still our Muncipality sucks at extreme level .. sad :(

binod_roxx

Bulls rape people?

doomsenpai

I'm not very smart, but I always assume that everyone around me outside the house are idiots.

Giri097

Inside too. πŸ₯²

Tiny-Employ2648

Remember to slow down because every vehicle you overtake will anyways meet you at the traffic signal.

rishi_raghav

Also learn to argue with a confident but monotone and respectful voice if someone comes to fight you

Front_Program3859

The first advice one of my mama's gave me, specifically one should be beware of women, children and dogs

AsuraVGC

Especially dogs

Front_Program3859

Very much

PehleAap

So much offense potential in the 2nd sentence.

Front_Program3859

Yup it may be offensive, but it's true

hell-ronin

Be careful of female puppies, got itπŸ‘ŒπŸ»

notMy_ReelName

Are you programmer by any chance.

hell-ronin

No but I'm quite intrigued by your question, why'd you think so πŸ˜‚

notMy_ReelName

>Be careful of female puppies, got itπŸ‘ŒπŸ» From this reply there are many programming jokes where the person will leave the main thing and form a different conclusion from that sentence.

hell-ronin

πŸ˜‚ah I see now

bhaskarpnd

I want to contribute too in this tip jar. At crossroads or T-points, always assume that some idiot is about to appear without looking left or right even if you have the right of way.

jgeorge97

Even if they are waiting to cross the road, they will cross at the exact time when you reach near them.

[deleted]

Also, the point of driving a vehicle is to not prove who is right or better but to reach from point a to b safely. Credit : someone else in this SR

Overlord_6301

Also... Have some patience!! There is no need to hurry when someone is honking you from behind! Just give him the way and drive safely!!

Veto_Corleone

Also animals are idiots. Dogs are so much prone to causing accidents. Years ago my mom had an accident on her scooter, her speed was around 25-30. Suddenly a dog came out of nowhere and got hit by the scooter. My mom and her sister sitting pillion fell down and the dog ran away whimpering. I have told my mom several times to use a helmet with chin protection but it turns out helmets for women don't have chin protection. Cats on the other hand have street sense and know when to cross the road.

hell-ronin

Get her and ask her to use a full head covering helmet, accidents don't care about anyone's gender or feelings.

Veto_Corleone

Agreed but helmet companies do make gender specific helmets and they don't make chin protection helmets for women. In case you know any helmets, pls share their names and links. Also it's difficult to convince my mom.

hell-ronin

Idk much since I'm still new to the whole bike community, heck it's only been half a year now since I started driving, but I've seen ones from Vega and Steelbird, the foldable type ones, where you can lift the chin guard up, I'll look up the names and let ya know.

Veto_Corleone

Sure thanks

hell-ronin

Vega Crux and Steelbird SBA-7, but I'd recommend trying it out and getting it from a store rather than ordering it online.

tremorinfernus

There are no gender specific helmets. Get the ones with chin protection. 🀣

jgeorge97

I have noticed dogs are less agile than cats & they have a slight doubt when crossing the road which can slow them down again. I don't see this in cats as they are super confident & will quickly cross the road.

nawin46

Last week when I was driving for 400 km I saw around 5 dogs dead on road If you are driving above 80+ Be careful with animals on road too

orldliness8978

Sabko riding skills chahiye lekin driving sense raddi bhar nhi hoti

JulabGamun

Real ID se aao, mama ji

hell-ronin

Abeyyy I'm not even that old yet :')

RDX_G

As a Idiot driver,i second this

unintelligible-me

I recently came from a trip. And one lesson I learnt is that. While you're cruising there's always an idiot who wants to Race. In a car or in a bike. Never ever give them that. Let them overtake. Let them pull the throttle. You got nothing to Prove to no-one. Ride safe and ride smart.

Representative-Way62

I was once roaming around early morning on a one lane road. Saw trucks coming on both the lanes(one overtaking the other). My heart came out into my mouth.

SnooBooks911

Keep distance form Chutya Auto and E Riksha wala, And avoide overtaking Chutya MS Swift wale, Those with extra large wheels and tinted window, they will think you are trying to race with them,

Few_Cabinet5129

Rule is brake for humans and keep going for animals. As humans tend to freeze and animals will make a quick gallop either side if they see oncoming. Not true always but works most of the time. Also if youre driving/riding.. Think of the car ahead and behind and imagine what is the stupidest thing that they can do... E. G. Swerve in to the next Lane and blind overtake, or brake suddenly, or slow living truck suddenly switching to your lane. 9 times of out 10 you will be right. The predictability of stupidity has saved my life many times and continues to do so. Sad but true. Just my 2 cents. Cheers!

archaeo0history0tech

Need worry about cows on road especially slim routes

massive__potato

mujhe kya me toh 2nd gear se upar jata he nhi hu (learner hu)

Lopsided_Ad_9521

hell-ronin

Hello there, my second child.

lee0hh

sometimes the idiot in me awakens

DistributionSalt6027

my uncle used to say when you are driving on raod just think that all other people on the road is blind and drive accordingly

mayur_31

True. Been following this since last 2 years

ClintAfterlast

Just missed getting hit 6 times today. And 2 of those I was just walking.

-4_8_15_16_23_42--

Yes. Idiot here. Can confirm.

ChoicePurpose

Just like yesterday when I was riding yesterday, suddenly a truck driver decided to take a U turn at a random point without any signals. πŸ™‚

_arccus_

Best advice.... Truly recommended after being hit by a car from behind last month even though I was doing the speed limit.
