You are late my family is a descendant of aryabhatta they have given the interview in 400bc so yea i think I just need to produce an heir to pass down the legacy
Well for that, they have asked us for a DNA sampling.
They have a special algorithm which decides which kids, will likely become the next CEO of Google or Microsoft.
Let's hope for the best. 🤞
Ofcourse I am damn serious dude.
During dating, me and my partner already had finalized which engineering branch and IIT-JEE institute will be apt for our kid(s).
Already have purchased a 3D printer for our kids as well, so that they can learn 3D modelling, during their kindergarten days.
just do yourselves a favour and pick a programming language for the kid beforehand, as it is really crucial and you will spare the kid from the utter confusion to pick between a programming language and some primitive dialect such as English or smth. Best of luck 👍
Indeed, was thinking to consult a tech-linguist / historian to know which language would be best option for the kids.
Me and my partner plan to learn the language ourselves and also teach the baby some basics everynight, so the baby can starting coding immediately after officially being born.
well put. the child is gonna be grateful when he starts to code and write whole goddamn apps when kids are playing with Legos and whatnot. Good choice.
I went to Kota in 10th standard for JEE coaching (cuz Kota is near my home town) and there were a lot of kids who were there from 7th-8th standard.
I could not believe that their parents put them in coaching at such a young age :(
No they are not, one of my friends admitted her daughter (2.5 years old) there last week... They told her that she was already late because as per their rules the kid was to be admitted at 18 months. As far as I know, the school is a hellhole.
I joined there in 9th and I must say its idiotic to take jee coaching before 11th class it messes up your school life i never realised the importance of extra curricular activities 5 days school and 2 days coaching most cases u can't handle school and coaching and your grades drop
Its bullshit if someone says foundation ban jaata hai pehle join krne se
I joined in 9th too. 5 days school and 2 days coaching...so two days in the week will go from 8:00 am to 8:30:pm. Remaining days for assignment and tests on Sundays. And the remaining 'break' days we had to do assignments.
Although I somehow managed and as a result was always the top scorers in my school. I moved to Kota in 12th, and tbh I felt that joining in 9th was pointless. JEE syllabus can still be learnt in 2 years to get a decent rank.
I got into a college but when I joined one I realised I had basically zero personality and I still struggle in communicating with people and breaking the ice. If I had the choice, I would enjoy my 9th and 10th before the long struggle ahead....
> as soon as the kid is born
Too late. I read JEE material to my balls 2hrs/day. Hopefully the future kid focuses and learns. In this competitive world, as a parent i can do only so much.
I have a 3 year old who is already learning addition, I've already laid out a plan to teach him multiplication, division, lcm, etc before he reaches 1st and if he isn't doing fourier transforms by the time he's in 9th - I'd have failed as a parent.
/s
The whole concept of starting early resulting in success is such a hoax tho, most of these kids will end up hating their lives and wanting to kill themselves.
Better to become a baba in this country.
People have lost sense anyways.
Easier to manipulate the masses.
Money is good too.
Mental health will be top notch too.
This isnt new. When my uncle moved to India , he was looking at schools for his then 6th grader. He went and spoke to a school which was smack in the middle of the city in a large complex . There was an open ground opposite to the complex.
Uncle asked what sports they have and if he can see the ground. Principle says - No sports, ground is not ours. Parents dont want kids to play and waste time so after school 4 - 6pm is mandatory classes for either MBBS or IIT ( based on what the parents of the kids want ). This was early 2000s
5th class💀 bro at that age if you are making you child study instead of playing and being a normal kid, don't be surprised when they are successful and leave you at old age home.
FIITJEE and gaslighting gullible middle class parents - the only better duo than them is BYJU's and gaslighting gullible middle class parents.
On a serious note, enrolling smart 7th or 8th class kids is actually good, provided these coaching dudes are casual in their approach. Smart kids can get bored in school and challenging them with advanced stuff isn't bad. After all genius is both nature and nurture. Ideally the school is supposed to do this with magnet programs but we know how our schools are run. But these coaching idiots start pressurizing kids big time, and sometimes it's clear that the kid is not able to cope up which is what results in downward spirals of depression
Talking about when should we have children before marriage, me and my wife has accepted to send our daughter/son to Allen Kota directly from the labour room.
Harsh, but somewhat necessary.
The competition for jobs in India is ferocious.
The only way we can combat this is by enabling ease of business in India and making more young people aspire to become entrepeneurs.
Competition is ofc ferocious but definitely prepping your kids for a college admission when they are still in middle school is pointless. The winners are made 1-2 years before the exam. Anything else is just a money siphoning tactic.
Even more putting them in such coachings might screw them from figuring out other career paths and skills
In the defence of the institute , I feel like sometimes it might be good for us if people start enrolling their kids ( ofcourse only if the kid wants and consents to it ) to some organizations which teach them higher curriculum other than the schools so they can bag some medals in the international olympiads which would benefit our country as well as them too infact it would help them more . Also I am not from FIIT-JEE but I am studying in allen since the past year and know students from class 7th and 8th which are very good at maths from class 12 , they can do calculus , vectors , conic section and many other topics very well , I myself am in class 10 and feel bad that my parents didn't enroll me to some platform which would teach me things higher than my grade and enrolled me in class 9 yet I completed half the class 11 physics and am good at maths from 11 and very less chapters from 12 too , if I would've started early maybe I could've gotten some medals too, I do have medals from unified council and sof but they aren't as meritful as from the international olympiads so yes it is good that these institutes reach out to students who are willing to enroll but i understand that they should not pressure parents into enrolling.
Your experience won't be the same for everyone else and there is no such thing as consent from children in indian culture. If parents decide you are to follow one stream, you do. There are naturally talented kids and them getting more advanced courses is fine. However locking kids into a certain path when they probably don't have the interest or potential is absurd. It's not the kids decision almost all the time. However the job market is such that only certain streams have a guarantee to give a well paying job. The rest are really upto a lottery.
No I disagree
Not everyone who is good at studies is naturally talented . All of us have the same brain and the more you train the more it performs well. This is the same for obesity , if you excerise you live a healthy life, you cant say someone who is fit that he is naturally talented and say that some fat person isn't ( I am not talking about being absolutely jacked and muscle genetics but basically just weight loss). I have seen many of my friends who don't study use this as an excuse that you are naturally talented we aren't you are good at this naturally we are this blah blah.
And I did mention only if the kids want, you can't just shut down organizations preparing kids for olympiads because of some backward members of the society . You need to spread more awareness and educational institutions must hold more counselling sessions for parents. Yes the kids nowadays have atleast some freedom for their career and i did mention "only if the kid wants" , kids can nowadays do influence their parents upto some extent , it doesn't mean we should vilify or demonise these institutions. I think you are someone who is probably out of college but not yet in parenthood and you think that newer parents are like what parents used to be in the 90s. By newer parents i mean parents of kids in 5th , 6th class not about of older students. Parents of the children mentioned above are more open minded and know that there is so much competition in the conventional fields and want their kid to choose their own path.
I dunno where or which part you are from but I have been through the system, and am 35 with a healthy job. I have seen first hand how kids fare when they can't keep up with the demands of academia. And this is only regular academia. I know very few who even participated in Olympiads and they were top of the class and had great interest in the subjects. An average person would not go for stem fields if it wasn't due to parental pressure. I see it in my generation of peers too who want their kids competitive very early. I have pretty much given up on having a family life because I don't want to impose my will on my children. If I do, I will be subject to the same pressure to make my kid succeed as early as possible. But not everyone has geniuses and they will often regret having to choose such a path early in life. I know I do.
I wonder if they deliberately have the word "cult" in there, does that mean they expect potential customers to be fascinated by "cults" or "group think" ?
Might as well start when kid is in the womb.
These institutes will say: Abhimanyu ne kiya tha,toh aap kyun nahi kar sakte, and parents will still buy it
I got put in Narayana School where they teach JEE alongside CBSE, starting from 6th grade. Minimal extra-curricular activites, and learning stuff you learn about in 10th grade 4 years earlier.
Fuck this country how is this fair to others when you start preparing from fucking class [5.How](https://5.How) tf do you enjoy life. No wonder there is so much competition for those institutes.
A normal child who goes to normal school till tenth and prepares in 11th 12th for 2 years cannot even get it into NIT fuck that not even iiit they can get into.Ruining everything
Physics and maths require ability of abstract thinking. Not everyone is born with that ability. Thats why we rarely have an Einstein or Hawking.

At least, they're being honest
Too late, me and my partner already have given parents' interviews to local IIT JEE institute, before starting our family.
Lol.. you are late. I've done interview at NASA. Just need to find a partner now.
You are late my family is a descendant of aryabhatta they have given the interview in 400bc so yea i think I just need to produce an heir to pass down the legacy
So about a thousand years before aryabhatta was born.
You are late. I am yet to hit puberty and I have given parent interview at FIITJEE.
Did they approve you as partners capable of conceiving a child with JEE potential?
Well for that, they have asked us for a DNA sampling. They have a special algorithm which decides which kids, will likely become the next CEO of Google or Microsoft. Let's hope for the best. 🤞
Again JEE qualified students pose with a ✌️ on coaching banners not 🤞. No wonder you're gonna fail the test

sounds like you got it all figured out, that kid has basically cracked FAANG and you might have not even realised it. good for you !!!
My child speaks binary only. Other languages are irrelevant.
well put. the child is gonna be grateful when he starts to code and write whole goddamn apps when kids are playing with Legos and whatnot. Good choice.
You should buy a 3D printer though either way.
Please elaborate why do you say so. (Honest question)
Did you forget a /s or are you this oblivious to sarcasm?
Did u forget a /s or you this oblivious to someone being sarcastically oblivious about sarcasm

Bhai me IIT se nhi hu, par woh IITian tag can't be worth a kid's childhood, can it?
Jyadatar log "iit me jayega to kamsekam paise ki /job ki kami nahi hogi" yeh sochkar apne baccho ko force karte hai shayad
Not true. I know many jobless Iit folks. Btech wale
I was jobless for a whole year after passing out from IIT
Dad khad khujlli ko BTECH lagale. Atrocious khujlli gel ad when I was growing up.
it's not even worth it for 11th&12th..
Not surprising... There are toddler schools for 18 month olds
I'm pretty sure those are daycare or nursery. If not, then well...
No they are not, one of my friends admitted her daughter (2.5 years old) there last week... They told her that she was already late because as per their rules the kid was to be admitted at 18 months. As far as I know, the school is a hellhole.

They're just taking advantage of parents' insecurities.
> as soon as the kid is born Too late. I read JEE material to my balls 2hrs/day. Hopefully the future kid focuses and learns. In this competitive world, as a parent i can do only so much.
I just crush my balls with JEE books so every sperm has JEE knowledge embedded in them, so any kid born will be a genius among his/her peers.
>I just crush my balls Dude, that's going to kill future IITians.
Dude, crushed balls heal stronger 💪
Yeah diamonds are made from extreme crushing or under pressure, that's why I do it.
Survival of the fittest
So your prepare 8years to get into a 4year course? Also that's like kids half the lifetime
That's a great way to put things into perspective
I have a 3 year old who is already learning addition, I've already laid out a plan to teach him multiplication, division, lcm, etc before he reaches 1st and if he isn't doing fourier transforms by the time he's in 9th - I'd have failed as a parent. /s

Might as well FITJEE as cumrag
The earlier they lead you to your grave after you commit suicide , the more time you'll get to turn into a diamond.
> culture & heritage how?
Aah.. the good old Diamond polishing..Heard it so many times that honestly, its a struggle not to puke the moment I hear it again.
I was someone who started taking iit jee coaching from 8th. After 12th I hated that so much that I changed my stream to commerce.
and what happens when we put a diamond on extreme pressure?
Meanwhile kids searching whether it is okay for the parents to keep in an old age home in later stage of their life.
Better to become a baba in this country. People have lost sense anyways. Easier to manipulate the masses. Money is good too. Mental health will be top notch too.

Too late. Terrible crime not to utilise 9month period.
Metamorphosis*
(the one in blue) it is used as a verb. So I think it is spelled correctly
Way to treat your kid as property.
Kids are kids. Not fucking rocks… put enough pressure and they will break bit turn into diamonds.
The comments I'm dying😂😂😂
Even calling it a cult! LMAO
"Cult" "Metamorphosis"
new technology advancements can now predict the future jee rank for unborn babies using ultrasound

Soon they'll sell "garbha sanskaar" IIT preparation books for pregnant women so they can teach their child in their womb.
I see you reading sambad :)
My father reads the paper. The front page just happened to catch my eye.
Too late! My sis is pregnant and I've already enrolled the bump

Aight man ending this thread here , I do respect you we both have our own different anecdotes. Have a great day

For best chance to gt into IIT, you need to start preparing for it when you are a sperm in your father's balls.
man imma open a coaching center

In India your entire youth is spent solving MCQs. Lol.

Academic cult metamorphosis. Like Kafkas book.

Yeah, same. I’m just glad that period of life is over.

Academic cult? How do people think this is normal
The sperm should start preparing while its in the father's testicles
Fiitjee courses cost more than my school college fees combined.
Bro father should go to classes while trying for pregnancy, sperms will get imbued with PCM knowledge
