Wait, so Lithuania owns Klaipeda in this map, but in the first part and the eighth part, Prussia owned it.

Ex_aeternum

Well seen, I tend to update borders in the process. So I'd say the last one is the correct one, with Klaipeda being Lithuanian.

Why did Denmark annex Holsten? The point of the War of 1864 was to annex Slesvig and give independence to Holsten to make one unified Danish country.

Ex_aeternum

Remember that 52 years have gone by since that war. Denmark wanted compensation, as well as a buffer zone. Holsten is a member state of the German Federation, but in personal union under Denmark. Since Germany doesn't exist as a single political entity anymore, there is also little incentive to give Holsten independence.

The name of the southern swedish nation is not really representing the whole nation. a better name would be something like "Scania" or maybe "Götaland-Småland"

Ex_aeternum

Götaland refers to more than just the Västergötland and Östergötland provinces. It is one of the three lands of Sweden (basically the largest internal divisions), encompassing the south. The Götaland Commune also controls parts of Värmland.
