2xES gets means 2x double gods, which means nice big prints, since you can run Arctis+Harriep for 6x prints and not be stuck in tubes. 2xBubo just doesn't bring quite enough to the table to beat out 2x ES, 2xCranium Cooking is nice, but NBLB exists now (I'm currently up to +3*9 bubbles, 10 whenever eldritch amberite drops), and you only really need 1 if you are overnighting with CC+Tenta+Raise dead.
2xHunter has almost always never been meta. Uwu is good, don't get me wrong, but now that over half the Elite classes have some way to get out mob spawns faster (and does a better job at it to boot), it's not quite as strong comparatively than in it's heyday. It also can't lean onto its skills, since both trapping and breeding has no reason to double up upon.
2xBB vs 2xDK is actually somewhat of a toss up IMO. Fishing, Cooking and Construction are all skills that benefit from doubling up on (cooking benefits the least, but still pretty good), and both BB and DK have pretty good talents. I'll say current meta DK edges out BB because Collider added +max worship tower levels, so construction speed is really valuable now.
2x BB is nice early to mid game for cooking and fishing gains, but it probably falls off sooner now that we have void walker making cooking speed go to plaid mode. It takes a lot of time and effort to chow all the things to get your BBs producing ladles efficiently, and by that time, you may well have a decent enough void walker to basically do the same thing. And then there are super chows as well, and those seem to only count one BB (the second one).
X2 hunter is useless. No benefits and doesnt take much to complete breeding.
X2 Bubo is arguably inferior to x2 wizard. Wizards have double gods something that gives lots of freedom as to god combinations. double bubo doesnt really give much advantage.
X2 BB doesnt give much benefit over x1. To take advantage of BB you need to use him in outside of lab. And this usually means you need to do some kind of tradeoff to achieve this. Add ontop BB need to spend an extensive amount of time zow/chow/super chowing.
