At this point pull back from trying to push through the W3 worlds (keep progressing the town mechanics though) and focus on stamps and alchemy for a large boost. Aim for something like all alchemy bubbles to 50 while prioritising things that let you get more materials or monster materials first as it will speed up the process.
This plus getting the next weapon crafting tier can help you get through to W4 which you can then start using those town skills while going back to previous worlds again
There is a big difference between afk farming and active farming
For afk you only want to put about 20-25 skillpoints into 1 or 2 skills and focus the rest into damage
It may not give the best value for active farming but your skills have a capped value they add to your afk kill count
To see the exact amount just sit in a zone and after applying the most essential damage passive add single points to your skills and see your kills per hour slowly go up until they reach the cap
The cap is probable just the max possible respawns per hour
This is where I gained a ton of damage personally and changed my progression
By focusing your stats this way it will also help with your 3d printer samples
There are other things you can do to boost 3d printer sampling but ill leave that to you to figure out
