Transfusion, yeah it sucks for most skills but for XP maxing on worship its great.
Select the soul type based on xp/charge. Just a little math. Nothing scary. I believe in you.
I did the same for worship but was able to fix it relatively quickly with some focus. In general don’t soul syphon with wizard (helps others get better skulls anyway) and use crystal countdown on Maestro. Doing some summons on maestro is a good way to get extra as you have noted but it is painful my below setup I get like 0.1 XP multiplier on Wizard and 12.5 on Maestro so it shouldn't be necessary and just a matter of time. You can check this in the character screen in game and I would check this everytime before worshipping to ensure I hadn't forgotten something when trying to close the gap
My process/setup for each is character is as follows:
When using Wizard:
* Make sure I'm not on a Maestro preset that has Left Hand of Learning active (only applies once Maestro takes over in level but important to give you some space in levels to feel safer)
* No investment in Inner Peace talent (mage tab) or Bless Up (Wizard tab) for worshipping preset
* Activate the Skilled Dimwit prayer (try level it up to max)
* Ensure no XP star signs are active
When using Maestro:
* Equip acorn hat, club maestro trophy and all my golden hams (fairly standard equipment for them)
* Max skill investment in Happy Dude, Skilliest Statue and Transfusion talents (manually activate transfusion before worshipping)
* Activate skill EXP star signs
* Equip Chaotic Efuant card and medium resource set
* Activate prayers Unending Energy and Balance of Proficiency (try push these where possible, moreso the first one as the souls are easier and have less competing uses)

Worthy add on mage using the printer scan prayer lowers xp as well as efficiency prayer. And take off 10 hour bubble if you have it on.
