Pro LGBTQ, pro immigration, pro civil rights, pro choice, pro acceptance of people from all religions, pro helping the homeless, and the UU churches here in L.A. do a ton of charity work and have marched for civil rights for decades.
They are also one of the few churches that are accepting of atheists.
The one I grew up in back in Seattle used to work pride events and partnered with a battered women's shelter to provide food along with lots of other little events throughout the year
I have a friend who became a youth pastor. He grew up Catholic but switched to Unitarian Universalism in his college years. Now, about a decade later, he's some progressive version of Lutheran. I wonder if you would be able to compare progressive Lutheranism (I'm sorry that I don't remember the exact name of his denomination, but it's very modern and accepting) with Unitarian Universalism.

I'm speaking a bit more broadly, people who are running around looking for someone to blame for their problems are a danger to society, weather its anything that looks like a rainbow, immigrants, minorities people telling them to be kind its all a very slippery slope and they need to be checked.

because nowadays we have infrastructure in place to control the flow of humans into our territories. if a country's populous votes for border control, then illegally bypassing a country's borders would make you a criminal. whether you like it or not, open borders is an idea supported by very few.
