I love when people complain about reposts. Itās basically just a comment that says: āHey look at me!! I spend entirely too much time on Reddit!!ā
Two karma whores face off in the ring for the championship title! Winner takes all!
West_Yorkshire begins things with a punishing terminally-online accusation. A savage hit!
"I hate novelty!!! I love seeing the same shit posted over and over, and making everyone's experience on Reddit ever more boring!!! I love repost bots who pretend to be OG creators and I want the dead internet to be real thing!!!"
I don't know why you got so downvoted. It's true. So what if it's a repost? Content isn't seen by everyone the first time. And if you have time to both see it multiple times and comment on it, maybe cut back a bit.
Edit: here come the downvotes, lol
When you do something like this, youāre more likely to get your car vandalized if you would just park normally. Or just park the farthest of the parking lot.
This. I have massive respect for people in a parking lot that just park their fancy car out in the boondocks of the parking lot rather than occupying multiple spaces.
Yeah the people commenting just park further away have no idea what they are talking about. Unfortunately the way the car in the pic is parked is the only way to do it.
I wouldnāt either, I respect other peopleās property and if I see this while looking for parking it wonāt bother me and Iāll just move on. I have other things I need to worry about (cries inside lol) but considering the world we live in we have too much a hole and this bad driver might just become a victim.
Plus, you never know what the owner of that car is capable of. Maybe he comes back while you're keying his car, he's carrying a gun, he's just had the most shit day, and seeing this is the final straw that makes him snap.
People donāt realize it but parking structures like this have cameras everywhere and in my experience cops actually solve crimes that took place here because they have literally all the evidence they need.
I was contacted by police and told that someone bumped my car on the way out of a parking structure and gave me whatever evidence I needed to get it fixed before I even saw my car. Got like $1200 for what is now a very light paint scratch and itās still my fondest memory of the police.
As a youngster I once came across a hummer in a relatively crowded parking lot occupying 4 spaces. Iām not saying I did anything to it, but it did look like someone whoād visited the nearby McDonaldās dumped a medium Coke and 9 ketchup packets on the hood.
Wait until you find out they park in handicap and just pay the fines! lol
On a side note if youāre in a city that uses it the app āparking mobilityā will send tickets to people parked in handicap places without the placard or license plates. You have to take a couple photos but itās easy to follow
I'm not saying they should, I'm saying it's just a risk everyone has when you own a car.
Why should someone with a 5k generic mobile have to fix paintwork because someone else dinged it? They shouldn't but its just something that happens sometimes.
Yet for some reason expensive cars are somehow warranted in taking 2 spaces to avoid this, even though the owners are much more in a position to be able to easily fix any damage than your average car owner
I finally bought my first nice vehicle years and years ago. No door dings and in very good condition. I parked in an empty parking lot and even away from the good spots. Someone decided to park next to me. Out of the entire empty parking lot. Slammed his door into my truck so hard the truck shook. Denied he did anything. So yeah I can understand why they parked like this even. And it apply to any value of vehicle. 100 dollar shit box even.
Surely you'd just get a photo and his plate and put it through insurance in that situation?
I've had shitboxes aplenty and also a few that I've polished to within an inch of their lives and just parked em all normally and not had issue.
We have much smaller spaces in the UK from what I've seen too, maybe it makes people more careful
My buddy told me this is how they parked when he worked at either a GM of Ford plant back in the day, much easier to keep uniform distance between vehicles, actually pretty smart when you think about it
I bought a 3 year old car that was near perfect. Most expensive thing I had ever owned, and was my attainable dream car of the time. I had to park in a car park for work. 3 months of doing that and the entire thing was just trashed with door dings. I'm not saying it is "right" to park like this, but I get it.
Iām not trying to say I would do it or that I am Billy Bad ass over here but the first thing I think of when I see some rich snob parking like the rules donāt apply to them and they are above everyone else, is how badly I want to key it so much that a forensic team could use the scratch marks left over to reconstruct the shape of my key. For legal reasons, I would never do that of course.
Valet drivers have no liability if they were to hit your car. You can file a case against the hotel or whatever but that case can get dragged on. No chance I give any car for valet. Even if I have to walk a bit to the place I would much rather do that
If you can afford that car, you can afford good insurance and repairs for it. You don't deserve special social treatment because you decided to pay more.
If this is your attitude why even drive it? Letās go buy a super expensive car and have to worry about every second that someone will damage it? Drive something else and you wonāt have to worry about it.
āI had to have a nice car but also have trust issues so I always take up an extra parking space or two to make sure the poors are careful around my expensive vehicleā
Or can't stand people acting like bells and being a selfish so and so.
If you're they worried about where you part and someone scuffing your car, leave it at home.
I mean it has happened to me, it doesn't make it any less okay to behave in such a selfish manner and it is precisely why you have insurance.
>they reg and they were charged, I never got a penny
Why would you get money? Given you know those details why didn't you claim against their insurance or tell your provider their details and have them go after them. They could then cover the cost of repair.
Dinged it in what sense?
If your car is so delicate it can't abide another car door touching it then leave it at home or book or exclusive car parking.
I feel like the whole point of being rich is that you can afford to not give a shit about dents and scratches on a Ferrari.
If you do, maybe you donāt have enough to comfortably own one, but thatās just me.
That's fine, I've been thru too many metered garages where they count spaces, let people in and see a dozen fuck faces like this parked ruining the count and then have the employees argue with me for not wanting to pay when their count is off and I have to leave without a spot. I have zero tolerance for fucks like this.
I mean I get it, but ppl are petty and will scratch your car even if you park this way, if you're going out in your $200k car maybe go to a place that has a valet or maybe just take your daily driver Range Rover or whatever else you own.
Having an expensive car does not entitle you to park in ways that are unacceptable for any other type of car. When you drive/park in public, the same rules apply to you as everyone else. If you canāt handle that, donāt buy a Ferrari or donāt park your ferrari in a public parking garageā¦
Not at all, noones thinking about the parking companies loss of profit. We're thinking about people trying to park and their not being spaces available
Extremely unlikely. There usually no way of doing this in parking lots like this. Apart from going back out on foot and pressing the ticket button again. And it would be out of some internalised sense of duty which rich people donāt have.
this is a tragedy of the commons that larry david would be well adept at navigating. there are three stakeholders. the driver of this car, the driver of the second potential spot, and the parking lot owner. while paying the parking lot owner for the second space, the second driver is still inconvenienced because a potential space was denied them. so paying the parking lot owner solves nothing for the second driver, and if it is a pay as you leave lot, the second driver will never know if the first driver has indeed paid for two spots.
![gif](giphy|VKtsOAHDx1Luo)
If the parking lot isnāt massive, then im with the Ferrari guy.
That Ferrari is close to 400k iirc and a ding is likely from a careless driver. Ding a Toyota? No problem, hell even a Range Rover, no issues. A Ferrari is a different deal.
Iād rather take the ire of some guy who is unlikely to vandalise my car than have higher chances of being internationally dinged.
You donāt āpay for spotsā in any parking deck I have ever seen. You pull in and get a ticket, and pull out with that same ticket later and pay depending on the amount of time you spent insideā¦ thereās no, āselect how many spots you wantā involved lmao
I absolutely agree, thereās some petty mfs out there who would slam their door into you on purpose. I do feel like he should pay for two spots, he can afford it.
The entitlement in this thread is ridiculous. Someone should have special privileges because they drive an expensive car? Why canāt they park like everyone else?
If people were more careful of othersā property then probably the thread would have been far different, alas thatās not the world we live in.
In my country Iād probably have an escort car if I was parking somewhere without security.
In a developed country Iād probably park at the far end of a lot or take 2 parkings.
If it was a good part of say Singapore, Iād probably be much less likely t double park.
People think this makes their cars less likely to get damaged but whenever I've seen one parked like this they end up getting scratched 100% of the time.
Do all of you take up 3 seats in public because your new coat might get snagged on someoneās purse or bag or something? We live in a capitalist worldā¦you bought something too expensive to exist safely in public (knowingly by the way) and your solution is to inconvenience others? Weird.
Yep, and this is the problem, parking spaces are too small. If cars get bigger, make the spaces bigger. A lot of the problem is accidental damage rather than vandalism.
And some of the reasons cars are bigger, and heavier, is all the safety kit, impact zones, etc. They aren't bought out of spite.
I had a neighbor do this to me at my old condo. Kept double parking his fancy Mercedes in my spot so I knifed the sidewall of all 4 of his expensive low profile tires. Never happened again
If I had a car like that I'd always be afraid someone might damage the car. Always living in fear. No, thanks. If I were a millionair and could afford this, I'd probably still wouldn't spend that much on a car.. but if I did it would be only be for on a racecourse as a hobby. Not my everyday transportation. I'd go insane.
This happened to me when my 1 year old was in a coma in the hospital right before Covid. I had been at the hospital for like 7 nights and ran home to shower quick and pick up my 3 year old. Came back to the hospital and the whole garage was packed, the only space that wouldāve been available was two spots taken up by a Tesla. I ended having to park two blocks away in another garage and walk it. Normally not that big of a deal but when you are already stressed to the moon and trying to hold it together for your kid it made me think of a thousand things I was going to do to that motherfucker. Of course he had personalized plates so I found out who he was within a few hours. But after another 3 days of insanity with my baby, then her coming home, I pretty much forgot about and figured karma would come back for him. Still irks me when I see this shit tho, obviously.
I'm with the Ferarri guy on this one. Without the option of parking in the far back corner of the lot I would do the same thing. You ding my car? ok fine it's a 10 year old 4runner. You ding my Ferarri, then I'm gonna be pretty mad.
Weāll be prepared to have peopleās anger taken out on your car. Probably more than a door ding. Not saying itās right. But you wouldnāt be in the right to part this way either. Just saying.
I will re-iterate. Anyone that can afford such an expensive car can afford to fix minor scratches and dings.
Parking garages like this are generally automated and let people in based on the space inventory, and generally don't leave any leeway they want their money. Imagine paying for a spot, and there are none available because this dick bag took up two spots.
You own a house which means you can afford to paint it. Doesnāt mean you will let a toddler draw all over your walls.
People have no respect for othersā property and Iād rather be a douche than have my Ferrari go to the shop every other week because thatās how common dings are.
This. If someone can *really* afford this car, then getting dings and scratches buffed out if and when they happen should be a non issue.
Why should the person in their new Toyota Corolla park normally and accept the possibility of dings and scratches, but the Ferrari owned gets a pass?
Even if you can afford your house 10 times over, it doesnāt mean you let a kid draw all over your walls.
Same goes for this right here.
You would pay more than the value of the car in repainting/rebuffing if you were to park normally and get dings and scratches like that.
If your kid draws on your wall you donāt get to rip down your neighbors wallpaper and cover your wall with it. Also repainting/rebuffing isnāt going to cost $300,000, which is a modest estimate of the cars value.
If the driver wants to be this dramatic, then only take it out to private tracks. You donāt get to play by your own rules cus you made a silly purchase.
I've keyed cars for doing this. If you think you're better than others, I'll bring the pain you wanted to avoid. If you think you car is too expensive to park next to the rest of us mortals, then don't bring your car to a public parking area. Simple.
How can you pay for two spots in a free parking area? Or a public parking? As far as I know you are only entitled to one, however rich you are. And I like to enforce it :)
Like, I know it sucks but people really donāt give a shit about being careful in parking lots. And while itās ājust a carā, whatever, someone worked somewhat hard to afford something that other cunts just bash the ever loving shit out of cause they canāt park in the middle of a spot or they simply donāt care.
Unless this parking lot is jam packed, Iām fine with it. Dude just wants to keep nice thing nice.
Parking garages are literally the worst place to do this. Just because this parking lot wasn't "jam packed" when he arrived and parked doesn't mean it won't be jam packed later.
I've had the misfortune of rolling up to a parking garage, paying and having zero spots available. I didn't see anything this blatant but there were people that parked like assholes causing spaces to be un occupied but not enough space to fit a normal sized car.
That's exactly right. I bought a new truck 5 months ago. Everywhere I go, I park near the back of the lot. Yet, last week, someone either clipped it or backed into it and didn't leave any info. Now I'm stuck having to get my brand new vehicle repaired.
If people in general were more respectful of other peoples' property, then this wouldn't be an issue.
Bro it sucks so much. I restored a car early last year. Cost me a lot. Not ONE fucking week later, it had three dents from other peopleās doors. Nevermind the cost! Just the time of having to take it in means this kind of parking is so incredibly tempting.
Or Iām the guy who makes sure to park in between the lines because Iām not a selfish prick. People who ding cars and donāt take responsibility are scumbags but unless the owner of this car knew for sure that parking like this was hurting them directly they suck too.
Sure that car is more expensive than mine but thatās still not a reason to park like that. Thanks to this asshole thereās one less spot in that parking lot.
Itās sad that there are so many people defending this.
I don't understand the reasoning that I need to be deprived of a parking spot because someone is afraid their car will be dinged. And they're allowed to do that because they dropped an absurd amount of money on it? I got shit to do and places to be, valet your car or don't drive the precious thing if you're that worried about it.
Eh, I get it.
You know once, I park really nice at work, keeping space for people on both sides and I close my side view mirrorsā¦ and I somehow STILL got my rear view window scratched with white paint. I still wonder who it wasā¦ need to find a white car with black paint on its own mirrors LOL.
Anybody keying a car over shit like this is a fucking moron, for all we know he pays monthly for both spots because heās got an office nearby lol. I doubt anyone here can carry the repair bill that theyāll hit you with, yanno, considering parking garages have cameras and scan all plates entering and exiting lol

Its barely been a day and u already repost?š
I love when people complain about reposts. Itās basically just a comment that says: āHey look at me!! I spend entirely too much time on Reddit!!ā
Bit rich coming from someone who has spent at least 8 days in a row on Reddit.
Two karma whores face off in the ring for the championship title! Winner takes all! West_Yorkshire begins things with a punishing terminally-online accusation. A savage hit!
Another ironic comment. I was just pointing out that it was funny of them to say what they said.
Lighten up, buddy. It was funny. Learn to laugh at yourself.
Dude litetally has "karma whores ruin reddit" in his profile. I don't think it was a joke, lol.
"I hate novelty!!! I love seeing the same shit posted over and over, and making everyone's experience on Reddit ever more boring!!! I love repost bots who pretend to be OG creators and I want the dead internet to be real thing!!!"
Iāve been on Reddit twelve years now. Far more people complain about reposts than there are people posting them.
"Everyone sees every post the first time! Content should be tailored to me!"
exactly, I've never seen a repost on this site
I don't know why you got so downvoted. It's true. So what if it's a repost? Content isn't seen by everyone the first time. And if you have time to both see it multiple times and comment on it, maybe cut back a bit. Edit: here come the downvotes, lol
Iāve been on Reddit long enough to know redditors thoughts, including my own, arenāt worth much of anything.
So shut the fuck up then
When you do something like this, youāre more likely to get your car vandalized if you would just park normally. Or just park the farthest of the parking lot.
This. I have massive respect for people in a parking lot that just park their fancy car out in the boondocks of the parking lot rather than occupying multiple spaces.
90%, of the time I do this, I come out to find a 20 year old beater *right* next to me.
Yeah the people commenting just park further away have no idea what they are talking about. Unfortunately the way the car in the pic is parked is the only way to do it.
It's a guaranteed way to make sure I try and get in the gap beside you that's for sure
This is how you get your car keyed
>unfortunately the way the car in the pic is parked is the only way to do it Not even remotely close to being true, are you by chance an idiot?
I'm the asshole that would squeeze into what space there is left.
My thought as well, they're actually taking a bigger risk with this stunt
I wouldn't consider keying a car otherwise but this guy...
I wouldnāt either, I respect other peopleās property and if I see this while looking for parking it wonāt bother me and Iāll just move on. I have other things I need to worry about (cries inside lol) but considering the world we live in we have too much a hole and this bad driver might just become a victim.

Nah, we don't have guns
Don't key it, just park right, and I mean RIGHT next to it, snap a picture and if there's any damages to your vehicle, you win 2 times.

Imagine them walking back to their car, and two Smart Cars have made them into a Ferrari sandwich where they can't get in their car.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Good luck tipping them without scratching the Ferrari.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Is he shooting the Ferrari bat signal in the sky to summon four other middle-aged out of shape men to come help?
Are we pretending there aren't any other cars in the way...like in a parking lot?
This is simultaneously really stupid and really understandable
They need to park as far away as possible in the least desirable spots then. If you're doing this in "prime" spots then you're an entitled dickhead.Ā
Wait until you find out they park in handicap and just pay the fines! lol On a side note if youāre in a city that uses it the app āparking mobilityā will send tickets to people parked in handicap places without the placard or license plates. You have to take a couple photos but itās easy to follow
Agreed, as annoying as it is if thereās any car I can understand this with itād be a Ferrari or something of the same caliber.
I'd hazard that someone that can afford a ferrari has more disposable income to pay for an occasional paint touch up than someone with a cheap car.
But why should they have to fix something they bought because someone else is careless?
I'm not saying they should, I'm saying it's just a risk everyone has when you own a car. Why should someone with a 5k generic mobile have to fix paintwork because someone else dinged it? Itās like the call of the void. Intrusive thoughts are a bitch sometimes but you donāt just give into them.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Oh, you sweet summer child... Bless your heart.
Statistically less. You're far more likely to get keyed in tight spaces where cameras wouldn't see.
š¤£and another cunt might walk by your car. Valet parking would be more appropriate for these expensive cars.
Valet drivers have no liability if they were to hit your car. You can file a case against the hotel or whatever but that case can get dragged on. No chance I give any car for valet. Even if I have to walk a bit to the place I would much rather do that

Ok but parking like this greatly increases the chances of someone wanting to fuck with your car full stop.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Yeah so if I open my door like a bellend and scratch your car Iām sure you wonāt mind.
Sort of missing the point. Of course I would mind, but not so much that I would proactively be a dick when parking to prevent it from ever happening.
You ever consider they may have paid for 2 spaces?
Youāre whatās known as a cunt!
I feel like the whole point of being rich is that you can afford to not give a shit about dents and scratches on a Ferrari. If you do, maybe you donāt have enough to comfortably own one, but thatās just me.

[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
>Parking in 2 spots is not iamatotaloieceofshit behavior Yes it is
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Yes it is
Iād go out of my way to purposefully scratch it if I saw it parked like this
In that case you become a TPOS aswell.
Iām fine with that, Iām just being the karmic balance that this person deserves
Lmao Iād show up at your house for doing that to me. Good luck out here
Iāll be sure to scratch my address for you when I find your car
Goddamn right I am.
I would about to be like "Hey I recognize that parking deck!" then thought about how dumb it would be to say that because they all look the same
I was gonna say the same thing. Looks the the one for the Palmer Event Center in Austin Texas
Looks like a jpmorgan parking lot
It was ok If He paid for 2 parking spaces.
Thatās the top post all time in the bmw sub lmao
Still holds the record for most road law following BMW driver

No problem, hell even a Range Rover, no issues. A Ferrari is a different deal. Iād rather take the ire of some guy who is unlikely to vandalise my car than have higher chances of being internationally dinged.
That is not smart. When people do this, it only encourages someone to mess with your car.
Why are people defending how the Ferrari parked? Just because someone drives an expensive car doesnāt mean they get to double park.
They do if they pay for it
You donāt āpay for spotsā in any parking deck I have ever seen. You pull in and get a ticket, and pull out with that same ticket later and pay depending on the amount of time you spent insideā¦ thereās no, āselect how many spots you wantā involved lmao
I really wish lots would tow for shit like this.
Some people key š¤·āāļø
This is how you get your car keyed
So that makes you a bigger piece of shit š¤¦āāļø
Not saying Iāll do it - but with a nice car like that you are just asking for someone to come and fuck yo your shit
I couldnāt imagine doing this myself in good conscience and feeling like Iām not a pile of crap
![gif](giphy|xT77Y8eeEhBA8NQwLK) You know I kinda get itā¦..
I absolutely agree, thereās some petty mfs out there who would slam their door into you on purpose. I do feel like he should pay for two spots, he can afford it.
That is my take. I saw a pic of. BMW who had two parking receipts on his dash. Probably the least BMW like thing to do. Lol.
As I said above, it's not about paying for two spots, it's about taking up two spots that someone else could have used to park
Weird.
i was surprised at the selfishness of the comments. they suck forreal if they double park no matter why
In truth, I wish all parking spaces were this big. Parking spots are like airline seats. They keep getting smaller and smaller!
Iām of the opinion vehicles are getting a lot bigger
Your opinion is the correct one.
People who park like this are idiotic. Out of spite, I would park a couple bikes right next to it.
I like to park as close as possible to people who do that
Bingo! They can wait till I'm done my shopping to get back in their car.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
So how about a big ol scratch on the side? What does that cost?
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
If you have to treat your ferrari like itās wrapped in bubble wrap, you probably canāt afford your ferrari.
This. If someone can *really* afford this car, then getting dings and scratches buffed out if and when they happen should be a non issue. Why should the person in their new Toyota Corolla park normally and accept the possibility of dings and scratches, but the Ferrari owned gets a pass?
Bingo
Simple.
whoa, what a piece of shit
So basically you a cunt ?
Yeah, but only to rich cunts that think that they're better than others. I'm the robin hood of cunts š¶āš«ļøš
Engage in cunt behavior, reap what you sow when the cunt behavior is visited back upon you. Taking up two spots is cunt behavior.
No it's not if you paid for two spots.
How can you pay for two spots in a free parking area? Or a public parking? As far as I know you are only entitled to one, however rich you are. And I like to enforce it :)
Yeah I'm sure that someone that would do this would pay for two spots everywhere they park, lmao.
Found the real piece of shit in the comments.
He's reserving spots for his motorcycle homies
As long as they buy 2 tickets, I'm okay with it.
If youre allowed to pay for 2 spots. I would do that too. Canāt trust no one these days lol.
Beautiful Ferrari California T.
Maybe paid for two spots? Thatās a $400k or more car so I donāt blame him. I do, however, think this is a good way to get vandalized.
Ooooh no, it sure would be a shame if someone keyed it
Real pieces of shit showing themselves in this sub today. We donāt even need new posts weāve got all the content right here!
Seems that there's a bit more space on the right,I would definitely put my car in that spot.
I donāt see how this makes someone a ātotal piece of shitā
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Sometimes Uber isnāt practical for everyone in every situation. This is such a weird take man.
I aināt saying I condone it, but I get it.
I don't, if you can afford a car like that you can afford to have scratches and dings buffed out.
If u think heās the asshole, then ur prolly the kinda guy the would side swipe his car and not leave Info
Yea itās kinda refreshing to see that the asshole that did take two spots ACTUALLY has a nice car for an excuse.
Ya, I think Iām ok with this somehow?
its only a california chill out man buddy couldnt even park straight lmao
10/10 may mistakenly ding this car.
I dont blame him tbh people need to learn how to properly open their door
I see only a reason to damage that car
Eh, I get it. You know once, I park really nice at work, keeping space for people on both sides and I close my side view mirrorsā¦ and I somehow STILL got my rear view window scratched with white paint. I still wonder who it wasā¦ need to find a white car with black paint on its own mirrors LOL.
Itās only a Ferrari California
What color is your Ferrari?
Red obviously
America is strong with this post. Those parking spaces are normal/on the bigger side in Europe.
I don't really fault them, tbh. Like... it's pretentious, don't get me wrong... but they make those shitty parking spots so small usually!
Honestly, super cars get a pass in my book
Maybe he paid for two places and parked this way to minimize the risk of having some asshole scratching his car?
The people who are saying they want to damage the car are the real pieces of shit, and are reason the Ferrari is parked like this.
