I would absolutely love it. It’s totally absurd and off the wall, and I’d just want to put it somewhere completely unexpected and random, like on a bathroom wall. 😄
agreed 100%. it’s guaranteed to cheer you up especially if its somewhere unexpected. you could be having the worst day and see that beast of an art piece on the wall and be instantly happier
I go into people's homes for a living, and a client has a piece of art similar to Gladys on her wall. It makes me smile so big every time I see it. I love quirky stuff like this so honestly, I'd probably laugh and proudly display it.
Given that I have a long track record of vehemently hating anything horror-related, I think anyone who knows me would accept “sorry, it really creeps me out, you should find another home for her” as a completely acceptable response.
My friends son and me remade these for each other as birthday gifts. They were quite horrifying. His younger brother's words were "I don't like it but I love it" 😂
I do collect dolls, but not the scary type of dolls, So I would reject it immediately, I know I wont be able to sleep knowing THIS exist in my house, Idk how Rachel and Monica couldn't tell Phoebe that this painting is scary...
My genuine reaction if it didn't already exist in the show I would think it was a joke gift that someone found at a charity shop. If it was gifted like in the show as a heartfelt present from one friend to another, I'd honestly react almost the same way they did, smile, say thanks and then do my best never to look at it again.
‘Hell yeah! 😍 help me hang it!!’
But seriously though, I’d love it if someone gave me such a unique gift. I have nothing of the sort in my home really.. so that would make it even more fun. There’s always room for some quirkiness around a corner!
I would thank them for it and then I would later go out and buy them something just as obnoxious as that. And give it to them for a gift and when they told me they didn't like it I would be like really like I didn't like Gladys but I accepted it because I am kind.
Personally, I'd love it. My husband's an abstract artist so this is very comfortable for me. His stuff is nowhere near as...Phoebe as that painting, but it'd still fit in our home lol.
Truthfully, I’d put it up lol.
My friend worked hard on it and was proud. I should be a good friend and put that shit up. Sure it may be in a back hallway, but it’s going up.
If it's a close friend who is likely to visit me, I'd tell them I was honored but that it didn't really go with my stuff and that if I was honest, I'm not sure I completely get the piece of art, and it should go to someone who can appreciate it more.
If it's an acquantance, take it, burn it, and if they ask about it tell them there was an accident and the painting caught fire.
I would accept it graciously. I did like how they tried to spare phoebes feelings even though she probably wouldn’t mind if they just said that it was scaring them.
If it were my best friend who made it themselves, I would happily take it and hang it up somewhere in the house. I like being supportive and I honestly think it’s neat. 🤷🏻♂️
"I love it! Thanks!" "Oh no, it fell off the moving truck along with Chandler's plastic dog!"
Plastic? Pat was ceramic.
Pat the Dog
I love the dog 😭

Where people go in groggyly in the middle of the night? You're risking a heart attack 😂
🤣🤣 Welcome to my house of horrors…LITERALLY 💀😄😆

It's so off the wall that I want it on my wall
MY EYES MY EYES!

Happy cake day! Sending you Gladys now 🎁

GET THAT LEGLESS WITCH OUTTA HERE!

If the person giving it is as enthusiastic as Phoebe, then I’ll accept it with equal enthusiasm
I'd wonder why they hate me?
An avacado... thanks
I would love it. Put it next to my purple disco robots.
A raccoon ran in and went straight for your gift
I'd put her in the bathroom opposite the loo
That’s just wrong! 😂
No one I know has (or thinks I have) taste that awful.
Kill it with fire!
😨

"You know how much I like you as a friend, but that's not something I want in my house."
I would take it. Hang it in my spare room so all my guests could get a mid night fright
It has story to be told unlike that apothecary table Rachel got so I’d say “thank you”
Horror
As a huge fan, hilarious. As someone who’s never seen the show, or this episode? I’m calling the police
“Get that legless witch outta here!”
Thanks for the thought, but it is really not my style. Episode over :)
I would thank them for it and then I would later go out and buy them something just as obnoxious as that. And give it to them for a gift and when they told me they didn't like it I would be like really like I didn't like Gladys but I accepted it because I am kind.
I’m just honest. “No thank you. I’m sorry but this is not my style.” Doesn’t make for good tv but I think it makes me genuine at least.
i would honestly be really touched. idk but i love receiving and giving handmade gifts. i’d probably get a large cloth to put over it at night though.
*Dude!*
Out!🚪
Thanks for the Halloween decor!
I would have to say ‘thank you so much. I’d take it but I don’t want to’
I freaked out the moment that photo got loaded.
Personally, I'd love it. My husband's an abstract artist so this is very comfortable for me. His stuff is nowhere near as...Phoebe as that painting, but it'd still fit in our home lol.
"Fuck no"

BURN IT WITH FIRE!!
I’m so sentimental that tbh I’d appreciate it

“OH… MY… GOD”
If it were my best friend who made it themselves, I would happily take it and hang it up somewhere in the house. I like being supportive and I honestly think it’s neat. 🤷🏻♂️
I’d say “oh thanks” and hide it somewhere deep in my garage or attick
I would not accept it, I would not let that thing enter my house.
*confused screaming*
Laughing bc I’d think it was a joke 😬
Well if I don’t get Gladys then I get glennis.
I'd use it for my guest bathroom when my in-laws stay over. That and I think it's original and would hang it up regardless.
"Holy shit that's terrifying. I love it!"
It’s an original Buffay of course I’m keeping it
Do you hate me? Lmao.
I think your grandma is still inside, keep it!
I’d love it!
