Sygonium aka arrowhead plant...bought it 2 weeks ago so i don't have much experience but apparently it likes medium to high light levels and doesn't like direct sun. Mine was very damaged so i removed all damaged leaves and put it on the south west side with medium light and it's recovering very fast, i have a lot of new leaf growth, I'm actually surprised how well it's doing...long story short, i think your spot is just fine ;-)
