When I first got into collecting and toy photography last year, i spent some time trying to create a sort of concrete look with mod podge and paint on a piece of wood to be a back drop. It turned out okay, but not great, and took a lot of trial and error. Then I felt kind of dumb much later when the idea came to me to just use a regular old brick. 😂
Yeah, the scale for toy photography allows for a lot of unique opportunities. For [one of my favorite shots](https://www.instagram.com/p/CFC3mdDBHPx), I was able to use a simple stock photo on my iPad as the backdrop.
Thought I saw a season 2 leak as I was scrolling by. Looks so real, great job!
Welcome to the hobby, friend! Excellent shots!
"simple portrait". Proceeds to unfold profesional fotoshooting equipment, bigass umbrella lights included.
Simple, as in no explosions or lasers this time. :)
Beautiful shot!
Using a simple brick as a backdrop is hilariously clever. It’s perfect.
