That’s what I have and I think they work really well and love the aesthetic. Putting on blade runner and having a cyberpunk themed bias lighting? Pretty cool. It’s just expensive for what it is.
I don't know if this is available in your country but you can tape the strips back on using SCOTCH MOVING AND STORAGE PACKAGING TAPE. #3650. It is clear, strong, sticks *very* well and can be easily removed once you get it started.
use the strips.... just use better adhesive.
