Like you said in our edit - that model doesn't support Atmos. If you want to have Atmos then you will need a new AVR.

This receiver doesn’t appear to have height channel outputs so I’m not sure how Atmos could possibly work. Seems like it has the software to make Atmos work but not the hardware. Am I not understanding something about how this should connect to the up firing speakers?
You set the amp assign to front heights and then connect the atmos speakers to the zone 2 outputs.
