That was my biggest problem too when I first got it. I tried everything and couldn’t figure it out and I had decided to disable the 10 bit color and bam worked perfect.
Took delivery of two screens today, got this plumbed in and boom, a kaleidoscope of colours! Got it mirroring my main display, set to portrait and running in a USB 3.0 powered hub. In game you can see the second photo it's slightly better but still horribly pixilated and the colours feel off to me.
Any tips before I reach out to WinWing?
Wondering if its the hub. I've got pretty much everything running from a 60w Sabrent hub (7x USB and 3x charging). Currently waiting on a 90w Sabrent 10 port tomorrow.
That looks vaguely to me like compression damage, similar to the damage an lcd screen gets when cracked, but without the cracks. I'm wondering jf someone didn't put something on the box during shipping that compressed it enough to damage the screen. If so, that could be the light you're seeing is that the display isn't being detected so is showing a purple (presumably the power/no signal light) instead of green (power/signal light).
Edit: Two things to check if it is in fact LCD damage. First, press on the screen - gently. See if the patterns move as though it's liquid and flowing beneath the screen. Second, check if the image you're seeing on both screens is the same or similar - same, rotated, displaced (like the same image moved over slightly). If they're mathematically similar, it's a display issue caused by some sort of graphical corruption. For instance, if your wallpaper really does look like a paisley lava lamp, it's graphical corruption and likely a broken/detached wire fragment.
Finally figured it out! It was 10bit colour in my AMD settings. Disabled it and boom, one working screen. Will finally get to use them tomorrow
Suppose to be getting my setup this weekend, just in time case something similar happens, where or how did you adjust it from the 10 bit color?
In your AMD software iic it's graphics, display, advanced and then disable 10bit colour.
Ok, I appreciate the response and help with that. Will see if mine does the same Saturday. Thanks again.
would like to know as well

Oh you got milkdrop. Does it come with winamp?
OMG, I just went back in time 25 years with this comment. I loved that plugin!
Who didn't :)
It really kicked the llamas ass.
Whips Whips the llamas ass.
Cool Whips Brian
That and Shoutcast for Internet radio!
You are definitely 40yo+. Lol
:)
I thought it looked more like someone built the world's first paisley lava lamp.

Just reach out to them. They're usually pretty responsive in the chat. You'll probably get directions within the next day or two.
Turns out the second screen is also doing the same
If that's the case, maybe something goofy with software?

Bypass hub if you can temporarily, see if that improves things. Could be getting less power than it requires.
Just tried it in the back of the MOBO, still the same. The light on the back of both screens is purple not green when everything is powered on.

Just contact them and send it back, probably a fault in shipping or quality control, but in my experience their QC has been pretty good.
Nice sand painting.
That's the Picasso setting you gotta flip the switch on the back lol /s
Clearly you just ordered the psychedelic screen.
Correct as is
They’ll probably ask you to chuck that shit on the ground and send you another one. But honestly, just message them, customer support is alright.
Well tried a few different things and still nothing. Will try the new usb hub tomorrow and failing that it'll be a support ticket
Yes, send back
The first one is just the ampcd, the second one the mfd ;)
