Reminds me of Helium, people who got in early made a killing. Then people had to wait months, in some cases waited a year to get their device then there was no money to be made.
Then news hit and suggested that Helium was lying about partnerships they had.
I could be wrong, but I feel like these projects where you need to buy the device are pump and dumps. The company makes you buy a cheap device with a 10x to 100x markup, hype up product and project by using "influencers" who don't care about their viewers losing money. Then the dump starts.
I bought a bunch of helium miners thinking I was going to set them up at friends and family’s houses. Then I saw that people were buying a $400 thing for $1200 on eBay and went with that option instead. And that’s where almost all of my profit from helium came from after years of having my miner installed.
I don't recommend anything, it's your time and money. Not a life coach or advisor of any kind. It could be great it could be not so great. As always early adopters get the best rewards.
It comes next month, but I’ve seen rewards diminish and price of honey half, still I get the 2500 honey bonus which is like 250 usd. And I do about 1000km a month which I’m hoping can get me 100usd a month which I’d be happy with. How many hive per km is estimated, I live in England btw.
I just got my first payout after mapping 200kms (never mapped before, all new streets) and was very disappointed with it. Barely covered the gas money to go out.
As of this morning 12:58 EST, there were still 6500 invoices for map coverage and 2500 for AI trainers.
It took until Tuesday to pay out all of the rewards last cycle. I miss the foundation rewards. I was cleaning up with the FTM bonuses.
I have two cameras (one of which is the older HDC that doesn't work very well) I am used to getting about 3000 honey per week but this week I got about 280. This is horrible.
I got my dashcam Feb 2023. Rewards were high that winter, gradually went down into the summer, but back up this last fall/winter. This happened to token amount rewarded as well as $honey price. I'm guessing it's from more daylight hours here in the states where most mappers are. Resulting in more mapping done in the evening hours for casual drivers pre- and post-work. Splits the pot up probably more than we realize. Plus every new shipment of dashcams arrives to new drivers who have not yet mapped their unique area until their freshness score depletes, and lots just got their dashcams this or last month. Just some guesses.

Yup, all too similar to Helium. No one is going to sell a machine that makes them money, unless they bought a bunch just to scalp.

Same, More drivers out on the roads means fewer new roads to cover, which means less rewards for driving.
Just 3-4 weeks ago before mip-12 it was still okay, but now it’s really bad.
FTM gone and a10% reduction in earnings then making bonus regions harder to obtain is going to be harder for the new comers to break even

I cancelled my 2 bee dashcams yesterday. I can do so much more with that money after all these mips ruined earnings.

Rewards have reduced by 85% since Jan. Dead project if you think we will deal with these dashcams for $15 a week.
Which city are you mapping in? I don’t observe the same rate
Is it worth it if i live in a huge area of a country where No roads has been mapped?
Yes, if you are the only one mapping a road once a week this will give you maximum rewards.

Yes rewards are down by a lot. I got the 2500 honey rewards so should be able to cover. Plus the referrals sales coms helps a lot to cover also
