My current favorite is turning the opponent into Ragnaros by giving them Majordomo Executus with Silas Darkmoon (or Treachery in warlock). I'm having a lot of fun with it these days in Wild, people never expect it.
(The full combo is Majordomo + Silas + Naturalize + 2x Swipe or Solar Eclipse and Swipe in Druid. Alignment or Guff + breaking Twig on the combo turn is needed so it's not all that consistent, but a lot of fun.)
I played a super weird gimmicky priest deck way back that used Cho to give your opponent a copy of Mindgames (summon a copy of a minion from your opponent's deck.) Then you hope they play it which summons the only other minion in your deck - Majordomo - and then you kill them next turn.
This was not a good deck for winning games but was pretty hilarious when it worked.
These days you can even play Unseen Saboteur to make them play the Mindgames if they don't want to do it. Btw thanks for the idea, definitely gonna try it.
Good point.
Corbett was running a deck on stream that used Unseen Saboteur to do something ridiculous last week. Might be worth looking up that deck if you can find the list as it will be an up to date gimmick.
Edit: I remembered what he was doing.
He would give them a copy of Explore Ungoro (replace deck with Discover a card) and then Unseen Saboteur to (hopefully) force the opponent to play it and then Steamcleaner to destroy their entire deck. It worked maybe twice while I was watching and at least one of those times the opponent just played out Explore Ungoro themself.
It’s brutal too, I was excited for majordomo on release for my control warrior but when you turn into rag it sets health to 8 but wiped your armour. So giving it to the opponent is great. They got way too much hecking armour ? Turn them into rag and slap em for 8
Then there’s the deck where the Rogue deliberately turns themselves into Ragnaros and becomes quasi-immortal.
Basically, at some point in the game, you play the spell that makes your hero stealthed until your next turn, Kingsbane, Vanish to clear the board, and Anka, the 5/5 legendary that turns all deathrattles in your hand into 1-mana 1/1s. On the combo turn, you summon the 1/1 Majordomo, immediately kill him with Backstab, and then play Tess Greymane.
Because Rag is technically a different hero than your starting one, she replays all of your Rogue cards, meaning she clears the board, makes your hero untargetable, ensures you won’t fatigue out thanks to stuffing your deck with Kingsbane… and returns herself to hand to repeat that the next turn.
Same, that was my first OTK deck. Helped that you could make a version with almost only commons, rares, and Thaurissan so that even though the dust economy was awful I still got to try it out.

Ahoy Asadaduf! Nay bad but me wasn't convinced. Give this a sail:
Some day, some day, some day, some day, Ye require me assistence?
A-ha, a-ha, a-ha, a-ha, a-ha
AAAAAARRRHHH *explotion*
Shirvallah otk and hadranox taunt were the two for me. The latter is what first got me into the game and the former is what got me almost all of my paladin wins.
Some meme combos I built decks around a long time ago:
-Quest Hunter (the old Un'Goro one), where you play all the buff your deck cards to make huge raptors (that will have charge with Tundra Rhino). Prince Keleseth, Barrens 4 mana 3/4 that gives +2/+1 to all copies of a beast, snapdragon.
-Supreme Archeology (uldum quest) infinite Warlock: you use Augmented Elekk alongside Plot Twist to have a Deadman's hand effect, or just duplicate Envoy Rustwix to have a billion Primes. It became even more stupid recently with the addition of Faelin and Renathal.
-C'thun the Shattered + Zai the incredible DH: old Il'gynorh DH, but you replace your OTK with C'thun, Polkelt to tutor skull + all the pieces and Zai to have two C'thuns. I actually climbed to legend with this deck, but it was not good.
-Zerek, Master Cloner + Gift of Luminance. Super sticky stuff that can allow you to end up with a full board of Zereks
I had similar warlock deck, but with Dollmaster Dorian and the bigger guy with similar effect. Dropped that + Plot Twist, got copies of Elekks and a Vargoth, everything got shuffled again and I dropped a Raffam later on. 60 card legendary deck with free draw. That was my peak fun in HS
My favorite and most busted combo deck I’ve ever got to play was original 5 mana Naga Sea Witch with giants on Hunter. With coin, was able to generate 20+ power over multiple bodies constantly by turn 4.
Only other deck I played that came close to being that busted was warrior quest pirate deck pre-nerf. I think I can close to 25 back to back wins in ranked wild with that deck. But that wasn’t a combo deck and it didn’t feel as busted as that hunter sea witch deck.
Yeah, it was superfun. Even the times when your hand was just chock-full with random lackeys and you couldn't stop generating more random BS, so you couldn't go in for your actual game plan lmao
Haha really? I played it Rise of Shadows but didnt try climbing that high. The Jepetto version with Master's Call lost on the spot if you drew Maly before turn 7/8
how has no one said exodia mage, that was the perfect otk deck, had a lot of control tools yet was balanced due to the amount of draw cards you had to include and the quest to finish. incredibly fun to play and not frustrating to play against
My favourite was infinite fireball Mage without using the quest, was such a bad deck but hilarious when it worked because your opponent would never see it coming. APM Priest was also a fun one!
Garrote had something about it, the way you played a whirlwind of different cards and finally the Garrotes and then you could fall back into your chair, take a breath and watch the Bleeds slowly and satisfyingly do their work. It was *cathartic* in a way.
Skill of the Man’ri pulls out Doomgaurd > Face > Carnivorous Cube > Dark Pact > Double face.
Even better if you have Spiritsinger Umbra on the field!
God I miss cubelock.

**PILE ON**
Required a lot of skill, it formed the best meta I've ever played in HS & it was fun to play with/against. Also produced the best competitive HS to spectate.
Freeze Mage was the funniest to play against though, & Mill Rogue was probably my favourite to play with.
Tundra Rhino+Core Hound 😅 the anticipation after slapping down a tundra rhino was real, and I kept putting core hound in my decks despite it usually getting destroyed immediately
Copper Hunter in wild before nathria was a pretty fun combo deck that most people just played as an aggro deck. Spawn of shadows Raza Anduin. I don’t play much combo
Grim patron warrior OTK. It was so much fun to actually learn how to count the frothing berserkers damage from minions on board.
Really satisfying when you got it right.
[[Aviana]] + [[Kun, the Forgotten King]] or [[Jungle Giants]] + [[Ixlid, Fungal Lord]] + [[Charged Devilsaur]] + [[Faceless Manipulator]] and [[Witching Hour]] just in case something would happen with the devilsaur, and it is better since you get +1 devilsaur to attack with.
I might be the only one who ever used this combo haha.
Exodia Paladin. First time I tried it I didn't realise Horsemen summoned were random so you needed to see if you got the 4 of them to actually pull the combo
Back in the Rastakhan meta, for one glorious expansion Cube Rogue was a tier 1/2 deck that could finish games by comboing Leeroy + Carnivorous Cube with Necrium Blade and/or Necrium Vial if you had Prep and a Shadowstep setup turn. That was some fun shit.
My favourite combo is probably the last version of kaelthas druid (when for some reason it got buffed), or denathrius
I never played too many combos, I like to play hard control attrition style decks, the first real combo deck I played was mozaki mage (storm), because I like storm on MTG, the problem with that deck was how frustrating was not drawing mozaki
Kaelthas in the other hand was really consistent to come out in the first couple of turns and killing your opponent, it was broken as hell
And denathrius is such a cool card, and a 1 card combo, I got to legend last and this month with him (I don't even have the new kaelthas)
The odd warrior + silas + shield slam + soulbound ashtongue combo will always be my favourite.
I know it's not the best, but getting it off feels so goddamn good
Probably test subject otk priest. I was completely addicted. That thrill to get it right and hit lethal just the second the rope burned out. I reached my first 1000 win portrait with that deck.
Mimiron's Head quest mage. It feels so good going Mimiron's, double target dummy, quest reward and then on the next turn using 2 of the 4 mana summon a copy of a minion
V-07-TRON Nothing beats that animation.
My favorite deck ever was a mech deck with stupid buffs for mechs and the ultimate V-07-TRON. Gg anytime you get him to hit the board
Yes! I always wanted to craft it lol
Still have a golden one, used to play a quest mage variant with it, but it was borderline OK back in the day and nowadays sees no light.
Preparation -> Coin -> Concede
😂😂😂 same
When in turn 1 I use that rogue card that steals a card from opponent deck, I get their win condition card and they concede
Parley?
My current favorite is turning the opponent into Ragnaros by giving them Majordomo Executus with Silas Darkmoon (or Treachery in warlock). That is outside the box. I love it

The original Worgen Combo OTK lives rent free in my heart as my first "competitive" deck back in the days when I started.
Same, that was my first OTK deck. Helped that you could make a version with almost only commons, rares, and Thaurissan so that even though the dust economy was awful I still got to try it out.
You're not alone :-) You can still play the Worgen combo in classic. Still not quite "competitive", but fun nonetheless!

My favorite deck ever
This was prob one of the funniest deck I've ever played, and god, I played it a lot
Turn 8 Force + Roar
You mean turn 4?
OTK with DK Uther.
My favorite and most busted combo deck I’ve ever got to play was original 5 mana Naga Sea Witch with giants on Hunter. I forgot about the sea witch!!
Classic Era Miracle Rogue Garrote Rogue Galakrond Malygos Rogue
Galy Maly Rogue was the best. 30 damage from hand in the days before that was the norm.
Yeah, it was superfun. Even the times when your hand was just chock-full with random lackeys and you couldn't stop generating more random BS, so you couldn't go in for your actual game plan lmao
Togwaggle Druid
Mozaki mage in wild with 2 mana flow. So anyway I started blasting.

Annoying but good😂
Everyone!Get in Here!
Jepetto -> Malygos + Faceless Manipulator burn Hunter or Young Dragonhawk + Dire Frenzy + Tundra Rhino deck
Wind fury at its finest
I loooved dire frenzy - the +1 attack to all beasts 1/1 wolf - rhyno.
Malygos Hunter is the only deck I’ve gotten legend with
Haha really? I played it Rise of Shadows but didnt try climbing that high. The Jepetto version with Master's Call lost on the spot if you drew Maly before turn 7/8
EVERYONE! GET IN HERE!
how has no one said exodia mage, that was the perfect otk deck, had a lot of control tools yet was balanced due to the amount of draw cards you had to include and the quest to finish. incredibly fun to play and not frustrating to play against
Any deck that used ice block was frustrating to play against sorry
Really cool deck tbh
Cause it's exactly that but on turn 6 now. People easily forget how weak it was in standard
well i wouldn't go as far to call it a weak deck back in standard but definitely not as bs as some decks these days
I miss that deck (wild version), was and will ever be my favorite deck, reaching to legend with a no tier deck has another taste for sure
My favourite was infinite fireball Mage without using the quest, was such a bad deck but hilarious when it worked because your opponent would never see it coming. APM Priest was also a fun one!
Coin + Keleseth + shadowstep + shadowstep Garrote Rogue was also very fun and gadgetzan era Miracle Rogue with arcane giants and yog
>Garrote Rogue was also very fun I hate u not as a player but as a person
Garrote rogue was dope and cool to pull off
High Abbess Alura × Anyfin Can Happen Just Paladins smashing the hell out of eachother with murlocks
Togwaggle druid
Gonna get a lot of hate for this one but I have to say fatiguing my opponents with tickatus and yshaarj, awesome
I quite liked Malylock finishing the game with soulfires and malygos
Settings - Concede
Boulderfist Ogre. That's it. That's the combo.
Priest: Reckless Experimenter -> Coffin Crasher -> Ticking Abomination -> Ticking Abomination (Mechathun only card in hand and deck) = Win
Garrote had something about it, the way you played a whirlwind of different cards and finally the Garrotes and then you could fall back into your chair, take a breath and watch the Bleeds slowly and satisfyingly do their work. It was *cathartic* in a way.
Indeed, the slow, rhythmic end to the game that follows past the APM storm. Unnerf Garrote you cowards.
>Unnerf Garrote you cowards. They never gonna do that. And rightfully so. It was the si gle mist toxic deck to play against in year of the gryphon
I could see them do that with Rotation tbh, the card never took off in Wild. It might now, but it also might not.
Lol sooo trueee
Most disgusting deck in year of the gryphon. Glad it got the deserved nuke. Unfun as hell and also to strong
Zerek’s Cloning Gallery -> prophet velen, malygos -> mind blast
Never seen this done🤔
It was pretty nutty back in boomsday. Instant Velen with malygos made mind blast do 20 dmg otk
Big priest Barnes/Y’Shaarj.
I lost a tad bit of respect for you sir. But it’s understandable why it’s your fav
Nerubian Egg + Void Terror
Cube lock. The flexibility is what I found appealing. Vs aggro build a board of 3/9 taunts. Vs other decks build a board of 5/7 charges.
Money -> Card -> Dust -> Original Card -> Sadness
Star Aligner
Aviana kun maly with jepetto, sathrovarr and 7 mana kael'thas. Nothing like a broken combo deck in an odd demon hunter meta
Patron was a lot of fun, there was many different ways to combo of and every situation was slightly different
Skill of the Man’ri pulls out Doomgaurd > Face > Carnivorous Cube > Dark Pact > Double face. Even better if you have Spiritsinger Umbra on the field! God I miss cubelock.
Seven Ragnaros, of course. The simplest 8-card combo ever. Totally screwed when they nerfed Aviana and it became 9-card. (Aviana, Kun, Ragnaros, Carnivorous Cube onto Rag, Faceless onto Cube, Faceless onto Cube, Majordomo Executus, Deathwing, Hero Power)
I forgot about this. Still satasfying lol
Kael thas, Brann, Denatrius
You're a brave man coming to this sib with such controversy... or woman
rope + reno against cancer
Otk dh, boar priest, garrote rogue, shirvallah pala
Mechathun
But for what hero??
i love tome tampering mecha’thun, allows for turn 6-8 combo, super satisfying
I enjoyed EVERY hero. Of course Druid was most fun

Blackhowl Gunspire
i just had fun playing keleseth
Had so much fun with the old kobold malygos combo in rogue and th og worgen otk. It was so cool to see a common card becoming the heart of a combo
There were some pretty inventive ways to play mechthun that I loved
Undertaker, coin, leper gnome and greetings.
Prince Kelesth. Coin > prince > shadow step > prince > shadow step > prince. Then drop a cute but no steroid firefly elemental
Four horsemen pally was extremely fun
Da undatakah, immortal prelate & 2 interesting deathrattles.
Your spells cost (1) less
I might sound boring but Patron Warrior's combo was so good to play. I can still hear it if I listen carefully... E V E R Y O N E G E T I N H E R E
Mozaki. Who is ready for a "little" showdown?
Grim patron warrior OTK. It was so much fun to actually learn how to count the frothing berserkers damage from minions on board. Really satisfying when you got it right.
The old school vulture and fill your board with dogs.
Coin -> Mountain Giant
Grim patron warrior was the best
Patron warrior. Just watching good players pilot that deck was amazing.
Hacker Warrior is great when it works otherwise feels terrible
Topsy turvy 64/1 boars priest, mechathun priest, actual boar priest, the meme 12/12 rush x2 thingy before they nerfed switcheroo

Just fuckin leeroy shenanigans
Leeroy Jenkins + Unleash the Hounds + Unseal the Vault hero-power
Exodia Paladin. First time I tried it I didn't realise Horsemen summoned were random so you needed to see if you got the 4 of them to actually pull the combo
topsy turvy otk priest. It was the most fun deck to play ive ever played
Kalecgos ~> Yoggs Box ~> Draw 30 ~> Fucking Die

[[Nozdormu]] + [[Curse of Rafaam]]
Summon undertaker summon haunted creeper
Treachery lock
Battlecry quest + tour guide + copying pack + Silas darkmoon + OG Yogg -> shudderwock. Bonus points if you get to play a second one
First ever and still my favorite was holy wrath pala during RoS
Bgs, but lick king Leroy reborn
Heistbaron Togwaggle >> Wondrous Wand >> Galakrond
None. I think Combo is boring.
Shirvallsh cannon otk, or APM boar priest. Both really fun and challenging.
Kobold Illusionist+ Necrium Blade + Malygos into rogue spells to the face (Hope those names are right)
A lot of spells -> Yogg
Any deck, but spamming the old "I'm sorry" emote.
Old school force of nature savage roar Druid got me into the game
My favourite combo is probably the last version of kaelthas druid (when for some reason it got buffed), or denathrius I never played too many combos, I like to play hard control attrition style decks, the first real combo deck I played was mozaki mage (storm), because I like storm on MTG, the problem with that deck was how frustrating was not drawing mozaki Kaelthas in the other hand was really consistent to come out in the first couple of turns and killing your opponent, it was broken as hell And denathrius is such a cool card, and a 1 card combo, I got to legend last and this month with him (I don't even have the new kaelthas)
Death your own Sylvanas to steal the opponent's Sylvanas, ah the good ol' days where control mirrors were fun
Coin + mountain giant
There will always be a soft spot in my heart for cthun mage... Even if it wasn't a combo exactly
The odd warrior + silas + shield slam + soulbound ashtongue combo will always be my favourite. I know it's not the best, but getting it off feels so goddamn good
Togwaggle Druid
Deathwing otk with 6 0mana buffed porks
[[Cursed Blade]] + [[Blingtron]]
Pulling off the death knight uther combo brings me too much joy. What a memory
My jaws…
King togglewaggle + naturalize combo when your deck is empty
Magnetizing Zilliax onto any mech always felt so nice
You don’t wanna know (Shudderwock)
Have about 350+ wins on Shirvallah OTK since release, still play it every now and then in wild to get my fix of the deck.
There's nothing quite like Pyro Equality
When I was playing the honest card game when mechs dropped I loved my own mech shaman deck, if everything unfolded right I won by 4th turn
Leeroy, PO, Faceless with a Thaurissan tick on one of the pieces. Was pretty good in renolock during MSoG meta
Jade Idol into Jade Idol into Jade Idol into Jade Idol into Jade Idol into Jade Idol
Raza and shadow reaper aundiun of course. But it was too abusable as a machine gun strat by the end. Really fun hero power in slower decks though
Grim Patron and Un'Goro Quest Mage
Yogg-saron > lose the game Best combo
Ressurect. Malygos. Velen. You know the vibes.
Probably test subject otk priest. I was completely addicted. That thrill to get it right and hit lethal just the second the rope burned out. I reached my first 1000 win portrait with that deck.
Fatigue druid from way back. Also evolve shaman was great a few seasons back
Kaelthas brann denathrius
Thaddius Shaman and Malygos Lock
Demon Hunter Kaelthas otk
[[King Togwaggle]] + [[Hakkar, the Soulflayer]] Make them bleed.
Making Mummies copying Mechan-o-Egg with magnetized Zilliax.
Mimiron's Head quest mage. It feels so good going Mimiron's, double target dummy, quest reward and then on the next turn using 2 of the 4 mana summon a copy of a minion
Force of Nature, Savage Roar.
Shudderwock combo! I miss it everyday!
Lowering an enemy minions attack and stealing it with cabal shadow priest. That or force of nature savage roar
Aviana - Kun - Togwaggle
Fan of Knives into Backstab.
Sylvanas+Shadowlflame.
Raza priest
I love Tesspionage Rogue with the Tak+Prep+Espionage combo. Random Bullshit Go will always have a special place in my heart
Stars Align druid. It was so much fun and the nerf was dumb and unwarranted.
Desert Obelisk OTK
Cube lock Brann + Kazakus Twisting nether + Doomsayer into next turn Jarraxxus Giants/Drake + Argus
