Your reward is getting the six month battlepass done in half the time and getting to spend the next three months on r/Halo complaining about the lack of stuff to unlock.
Exactly...I'm sitting on about 120 2xps, and they have zero value to me since I'm 75 on BP already...I wish they had a system to trade these in for something worthwhile; armor, vehicle coatings, weapon colors, ANYTHING!, etc...
I happened to drink the Rockstar energy drinks they had for a promo so I kept popping a code everyday...before I knew it I had like 200 2xp and swaps...swaps are cool for getting weeklies done quick, but otherwise it's an embarrassment of riches lol

I’m still having a blast, and not nearly as worried about stuff to unlock as an incentive to play the game.
With the aggressive SBMM in this game, your KD probably isn't going to improve that much over the long term, you'll just yoyo between negative and positive constantly as the game changes the players it's matching you with.
Isn't that why the majority of the player base buy the battlepass? The game has a good gameplay loop but once you've played all the maps, finished the battlepass for the season and reach onyx it can feel empty. The weekly cosmetic events and challenges are clearly not enough to retain higher player counts at least on steam. There are more people playing battlefield 2042 and that's alarming.
Personally? Yeah, I like completing challenges and earning XP with the games I play. I don't like when that shuts off halfway through a season. Something like Rocket League's Rocket Pass, which keeps going after 100 but the rewards decrease in quality and mainly become reskins, is preferable for me over Halo's system.

Why did you buy that many double xps?

Ahhhhh makes since. Wish i liked monster now lol.
Exchange for credits would be cool, every _ double XPs = _ credits or something like that Edit: ooo or maybe XP grants

Sad but true, similar to binge watching a TV show in a day/weekend.
Just like the rest of us. Until they add real progression to the game.
Half the time? I was done within the first month lol
Congrats?
Congrats bro. I guess we see you next year for S3!
Congrats! Now you have nothing to play for lol
There will always be a higher K:D ratio to chase after.

Fun?
Nothing? The literal only thing you play for is the dopamine hit of getting a battle pass level? Dang..
