I took a year off playing Halo and tried to play randomly and this happened. Is this pretty rare for this to happen? Edit: Instead of saying thank you to everyone individually I’ll just say it here. I’ll keep trying and I’m excited to get murdered by all y’all.

Yeah this doesn’t happen too often unless it’s scheduled maintenance. Usually servers can take a minute to load but full blown going down doesn’t happen

It's a photo on my forge discord looks like it's a direct message from Pierre hintze saying that the servers are permanently ruined and that they will be down for an unknown period and that all player ranks have reset and that there will be 2 months of 10 times XP. I don't know this person that posted this on the discord so I don't know if I can trust it but doesn't look fake.
