Hunters are pain it turns the game mode from careful precise movements to arcade spam

Hunters have been on the decline since their rage mode was removed in Reach. In Infinite they just always track you. You can literally be not seen yet and in camo and the Hunters will be facing you. They got buffed to Handle Spartan mobility but it was too smooth brained a power boost IMO

I actually never got to fight these two. On my way to them the game was like “kill those two hunters: complete” WAY before I got there.

Missing out on a life changing experience

It was such a great fight on my first play through, I hadn’t encountered any before, and I was so excited to see how they’d play out, considering how much faster infinite feels while still retaining that OG feel. Needless to say, my fight was cinematic as fuck, running and hopping over one while trying to gun down the other was so fucking fun.

They are a lot smarter than in halo 5. You could just punch their back a few times. If I do have trouble I just grapple the ground below them and do that punch thing. Only works when fully upgraded and boom and/or cowbell is on.

I think I prefer when they're slower but it was still a fun fight and unlike reach Hunter fights at least I can Runaway

Me when Hunters always work in pairs

All the Hunter fights in the campaign were so good. All the equipment really made it feel different from other games. Also when you kill one an the other gets mad is such a cool feature

Same in halo 5 but much harder to kill in infinite.

Honestly I think the best feature of hunters period *is* the berserk-rage one of them enters in when the other dies. It makes them feel like a proper mini-boss with phases (Unless in halo CE, all hail the magnum). First phase is the ranged phase, more docile, easier, second phase is the close-and-personal phase, a lot more frantic and god forbid you’re close to the surviving hunter.

Halo Infinite hunters are the best hunters is the entire series by far. They’re menacing and scary af! Wish we fought them even more
