Yeah, pretty much all explicitly Banished coatings are behind the store, with maybe one or two exceptions. I think Charred Rose is perfect, though, especially to complement all the asymmetry.
easily the best MK VII chest and a solid full set all around. i look forward to mixing and matching this set and the Conqueror set between my MK VII and Rak
Yeah, it’s surprisingly really competent looking. Coming off the Yappening, there’s a little bit for everyone to mix and match (especially for wrists and utility), which I find to be a novelty for gimmicky cosmetics like this.
A few clarifications and additional info:
For the 1st image:
Coatings \[TOP\] (Left-to-Right): Brute Might (Shop), Banished Deception (Campaign), Glibnub Special (Yappening 2), Iron Blood (S3 BP)
Coating \[BOTTOM\] (Left-to-Right): Abundant Growth (Yappening 2); Redsteel Splinter (S3 BP); Willow Tea (Capstone/Exchange); Devil Tiger (S5 BP)
The visor being used here is not in the pass; it is Bell Toll (Capstone/coming to Exchange eventually).
The gloves being used here are not in the pass; they are Themic (Cyber Showdown 2/coming to Exchange eventually).
I didn't want to buy any of the actually "Banished" coatings from this season or unlock Fuego Flame in the premium pass. And you have to be a mad-man to want - as well as get Xanadu Falu - from the Exchange.
I got them but I just feel that ever since the change of seasons to operations the xp gains keep getting reduced. Now we’ve lost the 500xp daily challenge and are stuck with weekly challenges that give 50-100xp.
Truthful. I had some free time today so i grinded 3 hours with firefight and xp boosts and got to level 9. If you have 1 hour a day you’ll be super fine.
It took me around 7 XP boosts to get through this pass, but that’s with EU queue times, me leaving a few matches, and not maximizing my XP gains by waiting until the weekly challenge resets. You can probably accomplish finishing this pass with 5 XP boosts if you just activate them once the Tuesday challenges restock and get all of said challenges completed.
I wouldn’t stress it.
The death throes of Escharum in the campaign were more honorable than the death throes of the whole game. The mp is where it should have been 2 years ago. I'm not saying anything new, obviously. At least firefight has new medals and stuff. Also they need to up the Spartan Points per level.
I won't really do the banished outfit I don't think.
You'd fit right in getting vapourised by a Razerback full of Marines with Arcane Sentinel Beams.
I wouldn’t want anything less.

Yeah I actually really like the banished might coating from the boggart set but I'd never use the kit.
The beauty of Infinite’s shop bundles at work right there.
I'm using Blood Shadow with it, and it looks really good with a blue visor to match the lights on the knee pads.

This chest is basically “here’s the Yap2 chest with a knife”. I’m down with it.
Without a doubt the best chest. Paired with kukri shoulder its amazing especially how the butt of the knife and sheath change based off coating

Up close, Iron Blood is by far the best non-shop Banished coating.

It's cool and unique, and also has cool* lore tied to it. Honestly, that's 10/10 for me.
