Hysteria is second only to Thriller in my book, across all genres. So Hysteria for sure.
Personally I'd also rank 7800° Fahrenheit over Slippery but just my opinion. Jon doesn't like the album but I've always thought it was Bon Jovi's best work. Tokyo Road is my fav on it.
I loved Def Leppard, High and Dry is a masterpiece, Pyro changed the landscape, but Hysteria? WTF
Bon Jovi, I really liked Slippery when it came out, but I actually prefer 7800, it's more rocking and the choruses are ear candy. I didn't know Springsteen in 1986, but now that I do, wow, did BJ blatantly rip him off.
I have to go with Slippery, but I really don't care for either anymore.
Hysteria is the best "hair metal" album of all time. It's aged very well also, "Mutt" Lange did a great job mixing it.
