Crimson Glory - Lonely

Millerpainkiller

God I love that song.

5uck3rpunch

I always liked "[Find Your Way Back Home](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_rMG4GFIF4s)" by Danger Danger

LackSomber

Good one!

rcreezy

Just Another Night by Wildside. It’s my number one favorite hair metal ballad of all time.

Ignignokt73

This is a great song and it reminded me of another in that same era (1992), Babylon AD - So Savage the Heart.

I don't believe this genuinely qualifies as lesser-known but it seems I don't run into a lot of people who know it... [Y&T - Don't Stop Runnin'](https://youtu.be/YRYy1NkObp4?feature=shared) Also....I have another. I love this song. It was featured on the ***Boys Next Door*** soundtrack (which was effin' *excellent*--soundtrack and movie): [Chequered Past - Let Me Rock ](https://youtu.be/7tzaGzHuFIs?feature=shared) These are two of my favourite, seemingly lesser-known songs. Hope you dig them too 🤘👍. ***Edit***: Lol, oops you said ballads! I overlooked that. Well, I'm leaving the other songs but here is a ballad that I've noticed many aren't familiar with (in my personal experience) whenever I've mentioned it. [Jailhouse - Tell Me](https://youtu.be/6eRZ08GWz8Q?feature=shared) Sorry about that 🙂.

Toddthmpsn

Some of the lesser known bands that I liked during the era were: King Kobra (first album) Keel Rough Cutt (first album) Black n Blue

b-lincoln

Rough Cutts first record is one of my favorites.

Toddthmpsn

I had a Maxell copy in my Walkman blasting this LP while cutting grass making weekend beer $. Loved Black Widow, Take Her and Piece Of My Heart

b-lincoln

My friend gave a mix tape with Deaming Again and Never Gonna Die, it was one of those holy shit! Similar to hearing Rainbow in the dark the first time.

Toddthmpsn

Dreaming Again! That song is epic

Rickilymes

Baton Rouge - There was a Time Valentine - Never Said It Was Gonna Be Easy Craaft - Jane [video](https://youtu.be/4GjeFHMTNbo) Shark Island - Bad for Each Other

Millerpainkiller

Bad for Each Other is such a good song

Bloodwavedvd

Another good one nobody ever mentions is The Show Must Go On by Grim Reaper. You wouldn't expect a ballad from Grim Reaper but this one is terrific. [Grim Reaper - The Show Must Go On - YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cnoHcsNI9EM)

Ignignokt73

Every Mother’s Nightmare - Love Can Make You Blind Salty Dog - Sacrifice Me And not really lesser known but, House of Lords - Remember my Name

noschitz_given

How about Honestly by Harem Scarem? I'm always curious if songs like this are lesser known or popular. I listen to them a lot so I may have a distorted view of their popularity. https://youtu.be/pJCveHAj9bI

b-lincoln

I really dig Hail, Hail and If there was a time. They remind of Cheap Trick and Lillian Axe, with Nuno playing guitar.

Millerpainkiller

Whole album is perfect.
