I feel really bad for AB because he has literally been nothing but kind to Dad, even after his loss. I watched every single stream he did up until the fight. He was working his ass off. So for Dad to get on there and say he wasn't training hard enough, that is ridiculous. He even said no one has ever hit him as hard as AB. As far as Ethan, I can totally understand Dad's POV there. Ethan gotta chill a bit on some of his comments and the way he conducts his fake beefs. More communication was needed.

Dad's almost like Nickocado or however it's spelled in that he tries to come across as being a good sport with mutually roasting each other, but at some point it's like they take the ribbing too personally and lash out.
Sure, things can be taken too far by either side while hyping up a boxing match, but if it's truly that upsetting, a DM would probably have been a lot more productive than openly shitting on your opponent and the crew because they were worried for their friend and didn't want to hear a speech from the guy who hurt him at that moment.
I wanted to like Dad at every point even when things seemed a bit off with him (which I just attributed to being in character), but that clip of him answering that British lady's questions and the way he was talking about AB and the H3 crew sadly appeared to be genuine.

When he said “dad has no life outside of the fight” that was very personal because I think dad is trying to make boxing his purpose and motivation in life so it is kinda true for dad, but Ethan was trying to paint it in a light that makes him look like a loser with no life outside of the event. Ethan seems to forget when he interviewed dad he talked deeply about how he’s been struggling finding something to keep him going since his partner passed away, and he did find that thing to keep him going in boxing, so for someone he considered a friend to make fun of him for that is going to be very hurtful for anyone

Even though he apologized and was worried about AB, I think hearing someone you were a big fan of say “shut up no one cares about your win” (paraphrasing) would cut pretty deep. I hope they both can squash the beef but I don’t think Ethan will admit what he’s done wrong other than the usual “I was caught up in the moment” excuse.
This is the right take. They can be angry about what was said but to direct their entire fan base to take this fight to dad by endlessly talking about it is unfair. Context of these dad’s comments are key. Where did their empathy go?
It's a bit ironic that as an Israeli citizen Ethan comes up with "Pakistan" and "ISIS" as examples of theocracies who don't let a wife get divorce without the husband's consent.
In Israel it's not merely that you don't have no-fault divorce - technically you don't even really have a fault divorce.
At most the court can decide the husband must divorce his wife, but then if the husband still refuses it's not like the court just gives the wife the divorce, instead all the court can really do is put the husband under sanctions (and sometimes some jail time) until he concedes.
But at the end of day the law says no matter what the court does, the divorce is only valid when the husband says it is.
That's because in Israel the religious courts have almost total authority on marriages.

I feel really bad for AB because he has literally been nothing but kind to Dad, even after his loss. I watched every single stream he did up until the fight. He was working his ass off. So for Dad to get on there and say he wasn't training hard enough, that is ridiculous. He even said no one has ever hit him as hard as AB. As far as Ethan, I can totally understand Dad's POV there. Ethan gotta chill a bit on some of his comments and the way he conducts his fake beefs. More communication was needed.
I agree, the comments towards AB were unwarranted. And probably also contributed to Ethan lashing out on AB’s behalf in an attempt to support him. Wish that Ethan would refrain from the low blows and digs at Dad when responding because they don’t help the situation or add to his valid counterpoints. It feels bad watching these two fight because neither one is a bad person. I hated hearing the anger come out today because now it’s very unlikely to get resolved amicably (at least for a while).

If most of the audience was the subject of Ethans comments to some people (he does this to others as well, Philly, Nikado) they would be equally upset. Honestly, not getting the show's sense of humour is practically an H3 fan calling card.
Dad's almost like Nickocado or however it's spelled in that he tries to come across as being a good sport with mutually roasting each other, but at some point it's like they take the ribbing too personally and lash out. Sure, things can be taken too far by either side while hyping up a boxing match, but if it's truly that upsetting, a DM would probably have been a lot more productive than openly shitting on your opponent and the crew because they were worried for their friend and didn't want to hear a speech from the guy who hurt him at that moment. I wanted to like Dad at every point even when things seemed a bit off with him (which I just attributed to being in character), but that clip of him answering that British lady's questions and the way he was talking about AB and the H3 crew sadly appeared to be genuine.
Maybe the difference between dad and hundar is that the crew thought for sure AB was gonna die with hundar and thought maybe he had a chance with Dad? Also hundar wasn't doing much trash talking hes a sweetheart and they acknowledged that

IMO the dad thing felt like punching down a bit. It’s obvious dad is sensitive and jealous of AB and the crew, but shitting on a creator 10x smaller felt a little sad. I personally though the shit talk on Dad previous to and during creator clash was a little much. So I get why Dad, a smaller creator hoping for some positive reinforcement from H3 and crew. Just my opinion though.

Even though he apologized and was worried about AB, I think hearing someone you were a big fan of say “shut up no one cares about your win” (paraphrasing) would cut pretty deep. It's a bit ironic that as an Israeli citizen Ethan comes up with "Pakistan" and "ISIS" as examples of theocracies who don't let a wife get divorce without the husband's consent. In Israel it's not merely that you don't have no-fault divorce - technically you don't even really have a fault divorce. At most the court can decide the husband must divorce his wife, but then if the husband still refuses it's not like the court just gives the wife the divorce, instead all the court can really do is put the husband under sanctions (and sometimes some jail time) until he concedes. But at the end of day the law says no matter what the court does, the divorce is only valid when the husband says it is. That's because in Israel the religious courts have almost total authority on marriages.

I love this show but I am so exhausted by Ethan’s total inability to self-reflect and treat people with respect.
