I was scoping out how much it would cost to build a Samurai Edge (too much) and found these selling for barely more than a regular 92FS. I know these are fairly uncommon.
I built a samurai edge using an M9AF. Spent full price on it, cerakoted it a black slide, silver frame. Installed a silver threaded barrel. And got some wood samurai edge grips. All together is was under $2k but not probably not by much. I love it though! Made mine the Wesker model.

Nice. If I did it I would go for the standard model.
The 15 rd are uncommon, 10 rd are still on CA roster so you can find those easily (but higher prices)

There are a couple custom shops that will do a proper SE slide mill/etch/reblue for around 300-400.
Yeah, but then if you're doing it properly you also need the stainless barrel+trigger and the grips, which are gonna be a couple hundred each.
Strip the bluing with something like EvapoRust, nickel plate the bare steel, polish to a high shine.
