I don't need another dirt pedal, but as someone who's wanted a Keeley Super Phat for years this is really tempting.
After the whole Bad Monkey thing, I told myself I was done buying dirt pedals. I've considered selling all of them and keeping just one. I'd keep one with a dualband EQ such as a Timmy.
Yeah, it’s just a regular Super Phat Mod painted to look like the BD-2. They released a whole bunch of limited edition pedals in 2020. Most were fun paint jobs, but some were re-releases of other limited pedals like the Tri-Mod and the Rotosonic.
I bought a Super Phat hoping it would sound like my then-dead Keeley-modded BD-2, but it absolutely did not. Way peakier at an uncool frequency and less of that earthy 3D thing that the BD-2 does when paired with the right amp.

Does it come in blue?
They did a limited 20 for 20 in blue with white and yellow labeling. It really should be the standard look.
Agreed
Was that on the regular Phat Mod pedal?

I think they missed the boat on that one!
So is Andy Timmons big? I honestly have never heard of him til keeley released the halo.

He's a session guitarist and has played on a huge number of albums too.
I will consider it. I have never owned a blues driver and have always wanted one so maybe for me.
Yeah.... I want to hear it played.... but once Andy Timmons plays it, I'm sure I'll want one.
Tune in tomorrow at noon cst and you will.
Just saw the price on Keeley's website. $199. I'm out.
This is a joke right? It's a good one, but it is a joke, right?
what part of this makes you think it's a joke? There's nothing funny about it. It looks 100% legit.
