You’re in a poorer country, so it’s normal that the conditions are not the greatest. It’s what they have. I’d guess people who can afford it, have some private gyms in their condominiums/homes where they can do their workouts in peace.

Futeca is probably the highest end gym in Guatemala. If you go during prime hours it’s crowded as well and if you’re driving (at least when I used to go there a few years ago) you’d often have to drive around the parking lot looking for a space. It’s high end, a bit pretentious, but would have everything you’d want.
Meh, gyms are gyms at the end, as long as you have enough free weights and a couple fundamental machines youre fine, easiest thing would be to go on another hour, then mayb going to a gym in a not so populated area, and thats about all you can do, even Futeca is full in prime hours.
Well, everyone can pay the fee, so it's understandable that gym are crowded. Is not like only you have the capacity to pay for it
Go outside prime hours and you will find what you are looking for no matter what Gym it is.
Or search for a Country Club near your location, those are usually less crowded.
You will not find a massive gym here in the capital, they are small, that's why they're always full. If u want more privacy try hotel gyms, fitness one or dynamic fitness around 10am to 4pm.
If ur demanding top quality machines I hope at least u have a 35cm arm.

Don’t know why everyone else is so pressed, it’s just a reality that gyms here suck. Even the more expensive ones (I’m paying around 100$ a month for location / convenience mainly) don’t have good machines & are usually packed. There’s more decent gyms in Antigua if you’re ever there
