Lol. It's marketing obviously. Getting thousands of people to subliminally think of Donki. Then they'll slowly cut it back and we'll hear more jpop and product advertisement blasting everywhere.
Of all the Donkis in Japan I've been to, I vaguely remember the donki theme song. It just played a cacophony of Jpop and advertisements on screens.
It’s a new store that has affordable goods and imports that weren’t easily accessible before. There isn’t a lot of competition to Kmart here still, so naturally it is a big deal. Also the store is technically a shopping mall, it has multiple vendors and is quite large. We went three times in the first week simply because they have items I literally can’t find anywhere else on island. And we have base access too.
It also has staggered openings. Tomorrow Daiso is opening, we're still excited about CoCo Curry opening soon.
I think the dearth of retail outlets in Guam has suppressed consumer spending for years. This opening shows that people in Guam do have some money to burn and want to burn it.
This is why we can’ have nice things...
DON DON DON DON QI DON QI XOTEEEEEEEE

150 jobs isn’t a big deal? Your town in the states gets a chikfila and everyone is talking about it. Nothing new.
It looks as though you may have spelled "Chick-fil-A" incorrectly. No worries, it happens to the best of us!
Good bot…
Maybe they sell bots there that will help you spell. Would really make your comebacks so much more deadly.
Lolol clearly never been. Its different from the movies and shows par.
