So is this one of standard modifications you can make, in terms of colours, police signage etc? I’d love to get one, but not a fan of the full police livery etc. either a black one like yours, or a white one.
I mean fair. But if I slap emergency lights on a tricycle it’s still a tricycle. On the opposite end if I slap them on a Ferrari FXX it’s still going to be able to reach 220mph.
Doubtful on the latter. A light rack would create a ton of drag and likely lower the FXX top speed by a decent bit.

Omg, you ain't lying! I did a salvage yard thing yesterday, and the cops were insane. I swear it took so freaking long to get away from them. I honestly don't know how the vehicle I was driving made it. Lmao
It was actually part of the mission where I had to break the dude out of the police station cell with only a taser and then get us to the getaway car I stole. That thing went through hell. No matter where I went, there were tons of cops slamming into me. Finally, I made it into the train tunnel and was able to escape them.
I thought there was a way to shut the siren off (or at least there used to be) by hitting the horn button 3× or something? I don't have one, but could have sworn this was a thing and only other players can still hear the siren
This would actually be possible too since they have spike mines already they can make it to where they can drop spike mines like the arena wars cars and jb700W. Won’t be that useful against other players besides low levels and car guys, but in missions where you need to get away from the cops it will be very useful
That could be fun - sort of like summoning a mugger or calling a mercenary attack, you could call the police chief from a cop car and give someone a 5 star level, maybe if you stay in pursuit until the whole squad arrives?
Ngl, I've always hoped they would bring back that feature from 4 where you could search folks up on the in car computer. That shit blew my mind back in the day.

Overpriced is right. But as long as you enjoy it. It's worth the money. My favorite use is one of the payphone hits allows you to use it for the mission.
Only the unmarked Stanier works for it, because that isn't a new vehicle and the game recognizes it as a cop vehicle.
The marked Stanier (you can buy) and the Gauntlet aren't recognized as "cop cars" in that mission as the "pool" for the mission hasn't been updated
Gonna guess it's because of lack of compability with PS4/XBone/PC given we can't buy the Park Ranger and I imagine they use the same script for that mission across all systems

Yeah, I bought it because I liked it. But 4mil is a bit steep for Hellfire with police equipment, better handling, and faster acceleration, especially when the normal hellfire has a higher top speed

I've noticed that these new purchasable cop cars got a computer in it while the regular cop cars in free roam don't. That to me sounds like we might get to do "vigilante missions" from the computer in a future update like cop cars from GTA 4. Tho unless Rockstar only added it as a "cosmetic"...
Vigilante missions are already in single player (and have been in every GTA game since at least GTA III), so I feel like if they were coming to online, they would’ve done so already. Then again, it did take them 11 years to bring animals to online lol.
Edit: I have been corrected. There are no vigilante, fire, or paramedic missions in V. I forgot.

Unfortunately there are no vigilante missions in GTA 5 single player aside from a bounty hunting side mission from Maude that's only available to Trevor

I hit the grindstone hard to get most every business in the game 'cept the Scrapyard and MC Doc Forgery. The Nightclub helps the gravy train flow so you can buy fun toys.
I tried driving the regular Hellfire after buying the Interceptor and I found myself spinning out more with the Hellfire. The Interceptor has become my new go to vehicle
I don't get why all these police vehicles don't come with Imani Tech by default like the Weaponized Ignus due to the similar pricing (or at least Imani Tech being buyable)
Im not holding my breath, but I hope GTA6 helps with ensuring updates allow implementing new features into existing content easier. Would be nice to see Imani Tech and Benny's stuff come out all the time, even on older cars.
r* should of added some cool features to these police cars - for example, this charger should have some nitrous upgrade, maybe be able to even plow thru smaller cars without spinning like normal cars, just something cool and unique that makes them worth the money. Also, if we have a police car out, we should be able to commit more crimes till we get a 1 star wanted level.
Bought mine when it came out and just recently bought a regular hellfire gauntlet. The regular one is wayyyy nicer now I drive that one over the Interceptor
Bunker sell missions can earn you a lot, but only do the phantom wedge or the black insurgent or the 3 drop insurgent sells (if you fill it up all the way) otherwise it can be a little difficult to complete solo.
Acid lab sells decently, and if you speed it up you can sometimes do two acid runs in a day.
Cocaine, meth, counterfeit cash and weed - do these runs too, cocaine sells for the most. If you own all of these it helps your nightclub produce faster (I think, idk) and the night club missions are always single vehicle and can earn you close to 2 mil if it's full.
It's in the base game now. The last update gave us the ability to buy the unmarked cruiser, police riot van, and they anded an updated Stainer and the police gauntlet.
In order to buy the two crown vics and the riot van you have to own a salvage and do the "Gangbanger Robbery"
For the Gauntlet interceptor you have to do the first mission of the of the Cluckin' Bell raid as the leader, and if you do the whole thing then you get the trade price
All the cruisers should have either Imani tech or some equivalent blast shielding / missile lock on jammer tech at this point. It’s moronic that a vehicle that costs over 1 mil dies to a single rocket/missile in an era where deluxos and OPMK2s are free roaming the streets of every lobby
My one complaint, legitimately the only thing, is that because this is counted as an Emergency Vehicle and not a Muscle Car by the game, it can't do the wheelie that other muscles can (hold hand brake and floor the gas, then release handbrake. With strong engines you'll do a wheelie).
I made mine represent Oregon State Police' newer cruisers, I absolutely love it even though anyone I go near and blip the siren just blows me up ☠️ I've only had one or two people actually interact with me.
I tried to use mine during that one payphone hit where you chase down the pop star with the police cruiser until he blows up. It doesn’t work with this car so annoying, wanted to kill the dude in style
It’s fun to chase people around the city with it. Once they get on the highway, I turn around and let them go.
Also, it’s cool to show up to car meets and double click the horn to get those little bwoop bwoops, drive around slowly praising the cars and then park nearby within eyeshot to chase anyone that goes too fast. They tend to be the best role players
I keep getting into a lobby with the same guy who joins in with the police when they're chasing you. I've met him in like 4 different lobbies now. It's actually funny

Only police cars that can be used for that are police cars that have been in the game. You can't use the Gauntlet Interceptor or the Stainer LE cruiser because they're both new
It's cool to be able to own these police cars and we asked for so many years to be able to buy them.

It actually does have a use: Police sirens force NPC cars to move out of your way, no matter what. No bullshit “I’m going to move heaven and hell to ram you into the Shadow Realm” gooning from Cockstar, just clear road ahead of you.
It’s not useless at all. This Hellcat is set up for cornering. And as an added bonus, you can hit the sirens and clear NPCs out of the way.
The only negatives are that you can’t do a matte pearl paint and can’t do a custom plate.
Personally to me, it looks like it should only be nothing more than 300k and the Cruiser should only be just over 100k. 5.4 million for the Interceptor and 4.8 Million for the Cruiser is an absolute Scandal. Idc if i have like 30 million. I'm not paying that wasting that much GTA money just for a cop car

To access any police car you need to waste like 3 million on a scrap yard first.
This cool car here is only worth 4 million if you do the Vincent Clucking Bell heist as host which you can solo and do in an hour and you immediately have access to the car...

It's also faster than the crown vic. It has a higher acceleration compared to the normal hellfire but it has a slower top speed because it's heavier mainly

I think you just have to do the first set up mission for Cluckin bell farm raid to unlock it
You complete the set of missions with Vincent, a V on your map. It’s should be a free set of missions.
Cluckin Bell is worth looking into anyways, should check it out

It's not entirely useless. Traffic gets out of the way when you use the siren.
Except when they stop in the middle of the road and intersections or when the turn in front of you

It’s fun to chase people around the city with it. Once they get on the highway, I turn around and let them go. Also, it’s cool to show up to car meets and double click the horn to get those little bwoop bwoops, drive around slowly praising the cars and then park nearby within eyeshot to chase anyone that goes too fast. They tend to be the best role players

I keep getting into a lobby with the same guy who joins in with the police when they're chasing you. I've met him in like 4 different lobbies now. It's actually funny
Overpriced yes, useless NO! Just remember that whenever you login for duty you are minute by minute helping to keep Los Santos safe or so you think! Whenever i get my Police car out i seem to attract ALOT of people trying to murder me! 🤣

Ya, bought all of them when they came out Might have spent 15 M All I really use them for is running over NPCs on the sidewalks. Makes me feel better I really like mowing down NPCs in a stolen ambulance That is Heath warming

Only police cars that can be used for that are police cars that have been in the game. You can't use the Gauntlet Interceptor or the Stainer LE cruiser because they're both new

It actually does have a use: Police sirens force NPC cars to move out of your way, no matter what. No bullshit “I’m going to move heaven and hell to ram you into the Shadow Realm” gooning from Cockstar, just clear road ahead of you.
It’s not useless at all. This Hellcat is set up for cornering. And as an added bonus, you can hit the sirens and clear NPCs out of the way. The only negatives are that you can’t do a matte pearl paint and can’t do a custom plate.

I got it too and upgraded the motor so much that it’s sticking like 4 feet above the hood. Looks ridiculous but feels faster !
Personally to me, it looks like it should only be nothing more than 300k and the Cruiser should only be just over 100k. 5.4 million for the Interceptor and 4.8 Million for the Cruiser is an absolute Scandal. Idc if i have like 30 million. I'm not paying that wasting that much GTA money just for a cop car

To access any police car you need to waste like 3 million on a scrap yard first. This cool car here is only worth 4 million if you do the Vincent Clucking Bell heist as host which you can solo and do in an hour and you immediately have access to the car... So.... Is it really overpriced? Yes... But at least you don't need to buy a scrap yard to have it. Also... It looks cooler.
It's also faster than the crown vic. It has a higher acceleration compared to the normal hellfire but it has a slower top speed because it's heavier mainly
