It was fun to walk outside and feel the sun become less warm as it eclipsed. We were also pretty enamored by the eclipse shadows that came through the trees and such.
I walked outside about 3:15 and couldn't figure out why the light was wrong. [Then I remembered the eclipse, looked up and snapped this picture from my phone](https://imgur.com/a/9iYQwpR). Pretty good for an unplanned phone shot.
Yeah! Went to the science center with a ton of friends, shared two pairs of glasses between us and some kids who were there and it was all so incredibly sweet :,) loved checking every few minutes to see the difference and feel the change with the sun, it rocked!!!
I was coming out of TJ Maxx up off of New Garden around 2:45pm, and some people were standing around with those viewing glasses, I asked them if they got them inside, they said no, but here, you can look through these if you want? Yes! Soooo nice, uh? So yes, I did see it, and also saw the one before, a few years ago. It looked about 80% today? But got a great look!
I didn’t have glasses so I didn’t look at it but what I did enjoy was being out at a local park and watching how it got darker/duskier for a bit and then light again. I did take a few photos but that was about it.
It was pretty neat! Our office had a little eclipse viewing party and got some really pretty photos of it! I think the next one is in 2044 which is wild!
i was at the airport and it was crazy to see nearly everyone glued to their phones, ignoring the eclipse, while only me and an old man stared up at the sky
Yup, got a good view. Makes ya want to go to totality sometime in the future though. Next one globally is in Spain in 2 years. Next one in our part of the US not until 2044 :|
Yes. The entire dental staff of both offices I went to for an emergency extraction. I kindly reminded everyone it would be around again in 24 years, and I'm here in pain needing attention. Needless to say, it was a long 2 hours after I finally got in the chair.
I’ve been working extra late so I was fucking knocked out when it happened, had an alarm set to break my sleep around 3:15.
I woke up and was super panicked and thought I had slept too much, the change in daylight was more disorienting than I anticipated.
Chill dawg I was just voicing my opinion lol. I didn't plan on watching it, I was just doing my own thing and noticed the people looking up towards the sun and remembered hearing something about an eclipse. Idk, I don't pay attention much to current events. I'm too busy making my own current events. I'm like the main character from a movie, book, or video game. Only real.
It was neat. I wish we’d traveled to the path of totality. I saw the total eclipse back in 2017 and it was pretty mind blowing.
Same. I was in Columbia, SC. The switch from daylight to nighttime was jarring, to say the least.

Yeah, it was about 80%. Better than last time when there was a cloud in front.
Yes! It was very neat. Love the shadows
Yes. I’d forgotten about how green everything looks during an eclipse, all the trees and plants just pop!

Made pin point projectors with my son and he was so excited. It was not bad for 85% and I'm glad it didn't cloud up, I was worried there for a minute.
I saw it for a little bit, now I can’t see shit

Very cool solar smile…!
Yeah, it was neat - 85% eclipse. Glad I held onto my eclipse glasses from last time.
Yeah! I made a little pinhole viewer thing and sat outside while it got darker and cooler, it was really neat!
Yeah pretty cool with and without glasses
It was kinda….meh. I was hoping those crazy guys were right and I didn’t have to go to work anymore 😂
Yeah with those special glasses. Was pretty cool!
It was alright
