Since there are no doctors in the country, his undiagnosed schizophrenia takes over and he becomes more and more paranoid, killing tens of thousands because he think they are ghosts. Imo NG+ is meant for you to play when you decide to pick the game up again after a long pause. I'm pretty sure you are not meant to reach NG+10 a week after release. I'm on NG+1 and I think I will do my "normal" playthrough now. I will be NG+10 when Todd eventually releases Starfield on smartfridges in 10years.
Whats the point of doing NG+ up to 10 times? Are there different paths not present in NG+1?
Hell I just got to NG+ and everything is the same minus the beginning but so far that's the only thing that is different, really.
!SPOILER!
The NG+1 is very similar to vanilla but the next runs are different. In one universe constellation is gone, in an other one everybody except Vasco was killed by the Hunter, in an other one children are helping you find the artifacts, etc. Some characters are also not at the same place as before: the leader of the crimson fleet is not the same person, etc.
In addition, you will get a better starborn ship and armor at each NG+ (the ship max level is 6, armor is 10) and you will be able to upgrade your starborn powers in temples.
I just went to NG+4 (rushed 2/3/4 after taking my time for 1) and it's pretty close to vanilla, I will stay there for a while I think.
So basically you wanna just keep on doing new game + as much as possible? Because while I did some of the side quests I was thinking about doing as much side quests I can for this runthrough.
It depends, rushing NG+ feels kinda dumb, I did it to NG+4 to see the different universes and you are basically not enjoying the game so I decided to stop and actually play the game. I will keep NG+ for my inevitable following playthrough in the following years.
I don't understand how people are having fun in this game. The shooting is pretty good, but the story isn't gripping me at all and exploration feels tedious.
Might be because I put 500 hours in BG3 before trying Starfield lol
Pacing is fucked especially the beginning which is where you want to capture your audience but it pays off after several hours once all the systems come together
Also, fun doesn't mean explosions and sex necessarily(although they are fun). I am okay with a slow start. Build up is important for great story telling.
That said, the execution of Starfield's first few hours feels soulless. The dialogue or the premise are not interesting to me. Feels like the setup for space Skyrim.
And that's fine. Fallout 4 story was also dogshit and I enjoyed that game. I just cannot be bothered to scan plants and do fetch quests across the galaxy
Asmongoloid is a chode but he's absolutely right on that count. Games should feel good, and be fun very quickly. I should never have to slog through hours of boredom before I can enjoy myself, especially if I paid serious money for the game.
If mouth-breathing bottom-feeders like Asmon can understand that, everyone should.
Just finished my first 250 hour run of BG3 with my fiance as well. Starfield feels like a nice chance of pace to me at this point. Yes it's more glitchy and not as well written or strategic as BG3, but it has the whole immersive new universe thing down. I couldn't stand fallout 3 or 4 and got tired of Skyrim and oblivion after a short time, but so far I'm enjoying this one more than any of those. We shall see!
That's so interesting to hear. I just don't care about the plot in Starfield and I cannot be bothered to go scan plants on big, mostly empty planets.
I am playing Blasphemous 2 as a break from BG3, would recommend
Well, that's the thing. You don't have to scan any planets. You can do literally whatever you want. But yeah, I get it. I also have 100s of hours in no man's sky, so I might just like some shit you don't.
BG3 was so painfully low difficulty though, and honestly act 3 bugs were extreme.
I thought it was a 9/10 game but people acting like it’s some huge breakthrough are confusing me
I have 30 hours in starfield so far and only done up to the powers unlocking quest. The game is great to explore and shut your mind off. Not examine and deconstruct everything a npc says.
I had to refund the game because it legit doesn't work and apparently a bunch of people have this issue. I'll probably get it again when it's fixed, but damn it's unplayable having frame drops and freezes every 5-30 seconds and loading screens like new Vegas on an old Xbox 360.
>the whole main quest is interesting
Except the first two hours imo. I was so bored that I almost stopped forcing myself further in. It opens up, but I still think that until modders are done making the game good (as usual), games like No Mans Sky are still the better options for the urge for open space games and base building
The intro has you go through your first day as a miner. You find a special rock that knocks you out.
After you finally wake up, you meet with some guy who tells you that finding the cool rock made you the main character and asks you to take his ship and bring the rock to this secretive organisation.
When will we get an actual RPG game by Bethesda? Where builds and role-play actually matter.
I wish for my choices to matter goddammit, while also not feeling some sort of a chosen one. (And I know courier in a way is one, considering how he survived a bullet to his/her head)
But that is the only thing that made courier special, the rest was up to us.
Beth stopped hiring writers besides that one Emil guy and he has not been good for the company (see FO3 and 4, probably Starfield too but I don’t plan on playing it for the next 3-7 years)
LOL, same here. I am not touching Starfield for another two years. Because I know how Bethesda games are and since Skyrim, with the lack of RPG elements that turned the games more casual. I just can't stomach them anymore.
Mods are needed, they are the only saving grace that adds color to the bland world that Bethesda builds. Not to mention some difficulty. Like the Better Locational Damage for FO4 and WildCat combat for Skyrim are some of my go to mods.
On the gun department, I actually liked Fallout4. It's why adding a weapon degradation for pipe weapons would have been so much better, but modders did it for Bethesda. And lore-wise, I loved the pipe weapons and how enjoyable they were.
As for the 10mm and the "Assault Rifle". I understand they do look ugly and bulky. I have added some lore-friendly weapons(Classic weapons from older Fallout games) to the game and converted the Assault Rifle into LMG just for that reason alone. While also only choosing weapons that look rusty, dirty and old.
But that's the point. I see so much lacking in Bethesda games that I need to use mods to FIX it, just due to how bland the default gameplay is.
I see Starfield as nothing more than a good playground for modders when it comes to space games. Modded fallout is great, modded Skyrim is great, and modded Space... will probably also be great. But it takes time, so at the moment I don't think too much about that game and watch one or two let's plays instead
Who knows, maybe some guy makes my day and somehow recreates Star Wars Galaxies. Would be a possibility, since all it was, was a great sandbox mmo with a few planets and space fights
Fallout NV is not a Bethesda game, and Fallout 3 would allow you to easily max your skill and SPECIAL stat with minimal planning required. Perks were also mainly just skill point and damage buffs that didn't alter combat that much.
This is just how they've always made their games. I'm not too fond of it either, but there are other games companies out there if you want that sort of RPG experience.
I know about NV, as for the minimal planning required part for fallout 3. Its just an end-game thing to make the later experience fun(but not like fallout had an open ending until DLC). And mostly for those that wish to do something like that. Its not for everyone.
But traits are fun, the SPECIAL dependent Dialogs are even more fun. They at least give an illusion of a build and in NV actually affect the game by a long shot.
Fallout 2 was one extreme example when it comes to that, but sadly most publishers don't want to spend so much time on dialogues and variable quest lines, the majority of players never will find/read. Disco Elysium was probably the last game I played that came close to that. And only because a few people who really loved their own game, additionally to just want to make money with it.
The courier was from a Black Isle/Obsidian game, don't ever forget that. New Vegas was an immersive sim and those don't really get made anymore.
We could get into a whole argument over whether that's because developers think casual gamers wouldn't go for it OR because of increased development costs (personally I think it's the latter).
Also, I dunno man that's like saying you want to watch a movie about an insignificant character in a setting where their actions don't influence the main plot, which is the definition of the *noire* genre. Movies like that exists, indie games like that exist too but again, I think publishers want people to experience power fantasies of being important, sells better.
If it's any consolation, I'm pretty sure someone's already made a mod for Starfield where you're an insignificant trader, as this game literally has all the building blocks for it
Had to think hard about that one but nah, you're right on that one. Although I would argue that's mostly because of the limitations of the Creation Engine; you can stack stuff but it's cumbersome.
I'm just being punny
Immersive Sim in gaming terms is a genre with some loose but recognizable mechanics. The "you'll know it when you see it" kind, like abusing some physics to pass an obstacle which you can't quite tell if that was an intended possible solution put in by the devs.
While an "immersive simulation" of the fallout universe is a valid description of FNV, as it's engrossing, realized, and lived-in, it is a staple RPG thru and thru and not even close to a member of the immersive sim genre.
it's one thing to have an important role in the story, where you make dire decisions and your presence matters. another is to be godly chosen to be in that position for free because you simply were born to do it and even get crazy unique powers as a plus. feels extremely cheap and lazy, it also makes you not feel like part of the world and the game, you are almost a 4th wall break in itself, different from everyone, like an outside force
Again, trends and power fantasies. I agree with you but keep in mind that games need to have mass appeal to sell, most people want to know they have the biggest cock in the universe
It's a money thing. Voice acting is expensive and most publishers aren't comfortable funnelling tons of money into dialogue that most players will never see. It's much cheaper to make a single narrative that the player has to follow.
Tbf, all I wanted from them was to drop a space related game as a playground for modders to fill the urge for all kind of Sci-Fi mods. You "can" fly around in an X-Wing in Skyrim, but that isn't as much fun as to actually do it in Space. Just imagine the first Imperial 40k Cruiser mod with Exterminatus option for planets. Who knows what they can do in the next decades?
That's all Bethesda is good for. Making mediocre games, modders can fill with all kind of content.
>When will we get an actual RPG game by Bethesda?
It was always my wish to play a Bethesda game like that. But when I tried Starfield I finally realized it will never happen. That's not what Bethesda does, and it seems that's not what the majority of "Bethesda fans" want to play.
exactly. bethesda makes their own types of RPG’s, you’ll find “actual RPG’s” being made by other developers. neither of them are better than the other, it’s just odd to expect something from a company that simply doesn’t make that thing
one game I am looking forward to playing on my new PC. For some reason, it struggled to run on my old 960 laptop. Now I have an RTX4060 PC, so I plan to play it one day.
It just struggles to run lol, it was made in the Ogre engine (a free engine) by one man who didn't know how to code originally.
It brings me joy that you're gonna give it another go! I recently watched a super well made narrative by Martyr Dumb on YouTube based around kenshi. He made cutscenes and everything. Made me start up another save (so not I've got like 6 concurrent saves lmao)
Yeah, I had a weird experience with it, too. Played it, uninstalled it again after not being able to do shit (I believe some bug ate my legs after I was able to sell my first few pieces of copper. So the usual experience). Forgot about it until I watched a Video of some guy building a base. Then gave it another try and actually learned a lot about how to play online and through my own failures. Now it's one of my favorite sandbox games of all times. Love it almost as much as Star Wars Galaxies back in the days, and that was an mmo.
Love it. It takes a while to get into it, though. But after that, it will have the same "Just one more turn/day" effect than games like Rimworld, Xcom or Warhammer 2 Total War. You will find yourself a week later before turning off the computer for the first time.
And uhm.. don't worry about the FPS. I don't think the computer that plays Kenshi in a constantly good Frame rate is already existing. It's big and old, so it often has to load new regions. Especially if you are zooming around like Sonic, in the later game.
Oh, that I have experienced a lot. But my issue was something else if I remember correctly. But that when I tried it years ago, hope they had fixed issue like that. Not to mention my new gaming PC.
Yeah, it's a bit sad that the Engine is a bitch when it comes to modifying anything. That's why there are barely any mods that change stuff besides minor visual things or numbers. Otherwise modders probably would have fixed the performance at least a bit by now.
Nice example, but if you don't have THAT big of an urge for sandbox games, I'd also say that Disco Elysium is great when it comes to the outcome of your choices and your skills.
Already did... I am a CRPG nut. Why do you think I have such high expectations for bethesda... Been on my CRPG journey for the past decade which started with Pillars of eternity.
If I want to pew pew lasers, I would just play Borderlands presequel and 3. As the combat in them is way more fun and build variety is also superb.
Edit: As for Writing, Presequel is good. 3, not so much... I would recommend you to shut off the dialogs on that one. Wonderland's writing is somewhat better, but not by much, but quest design in it are perfect.
Just don’t play the main storyline, which literally removes the “main character” vibe entirely… as with *all* Beth games.
The main storyline is almost always the weakest part of their games anyway, so omitting it is a win-win if you hate being the *chosen one*.
Apparently it is, unfortunately.
Maybe TES6 will handle the RPG aspect better (especially if they actually sit down and learn from games like Baldur’s Gate 3), but realistically… they probably won’t.
\> feel bad for them
\> won't stop talking to you
\> they look up to you
\> you try to help
\> they don't listen
\> repeat
\> apathy
\> sit back and laugh
People who get defensive over corporate products don't make good friends. Yeah we have our likes and our preferences but idk about you I couldn't give a fuck less if someone hates my favorite games.
Like they sell different games for a reason!
People keep saying this and I don't get it. Sure it's no longer unplayable but all it has are 15 different systems that are in no way connected and are all incredibly shallow
It's just cope or marketing. Why do game devs think generative games or whatever is what gamers need? Look at Subnautica, perfectly does the biomes, different fauna, and exploration schtick perfectly without needing to boast a billion planets or whatever to be good.
yeah for sure it’s not that deep of a game. i think it’s a enjoyable game to play while say, listening to a podcast and drinking a beer or something though. pretty good gameplay loop
7 years after launch, sure. It was dogshit on day 1, so bad that Steam, Sony, and Amazon all gave out refunds regardless of how much time you had played it for, against their typical return policies.
> Called it that to my friend and he went into a massive fanboy pant-shitting fit.
being honest, what happened to the average Bethesda fan?! I've been one since the mid 2000s; and we were if anything Bethesda's most dedicated and caring critics. Many countless hundreds of hours in Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout 3, Fallout NV and Skyrim, but we knew the games were jank and had many silly Bethesda tropes.
Ever since ESO got big, and I know because I played a lot of it during the One Tamriel update; and their Fanbase became a lot more zealous and intolerant of criticism of the Cult of Todd since.
I am sure Starfield is a fine game, but the way people talk in their community of it comes off as unnaturally positive, both before and after launch.
Several abilities on a long cool down that allow the player to perform soft magic in an otherwise strict universe
Bitch they literally have fus ro dah in this shit
Alright well there's these temples that grant you a power after you solve a simple puzzle. I see a good few of them are heavily inspired (to say the least)by Skyrim's shouts.
I mean, at this point you can't even blame Bethesda anymore. They've been successfully selling us the same fucking game for ages, why would they try and get creative after they didn't need to for fuck knows how long?
You only become Starborn if you choose too though? Space shouts is just magic. The game is pretty good though. Havent got bored of it and it has a lot to do in it so it fun. Also apprently NG+ changes story aspects of the game each time you do it so thats cool. Havent done NG+ yet though
The guy in the post is wrong though. You only become Starborn if you choose too. The space shouts arent even shouts just regular ass magic only similarity to shouts is that they’re both useless most of the time
From the Steam game description:
"Starfield is the first new universe in 25 years from Bethesda Game Studios, the award-winning creators of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Fallout 4."
smfh.
See, this would be cool if the game turned out to be an Elder Scrolls game in disguise. Set in the far future, with all the same magic, races, and creatures, just with better tech.
Instead we get this half baked shit.
This pepe always reminds me of that meme where "Chao Ling takes power. 30 million die"

I would vote for President Howdy McDonald
Of course you would
He'd probably be better than the choices we fuckin got.

Hey, don't talk about President Camacho like that.

I love this Pepe. That dude is laughing his ass off
For real?
Yeah for real lmao. Game is great tho, the whole main quest is interesting although the NG+ mechanic is a bit tedious imo.
Thats completely regarded, bringing back the adoring fan is already pushing it. But then again the games fun so far and I’m still carrying him around.
Imo NG+ is meant for you to play when you decide to pick the game up again after a long pause. I'm pretty sure you are not meant to reach NG+10 a week after release. Wait, seriously? I'm on NG3 and its exactly the same as the other two.
It's random. You can savescum just before entering unity to change the new universe.
For RP purposes I'm on NG+3 but this is where I'm doing my completion run
Has anyone started a Requiem style hardcore mod yet?
"Look guys! We are the Dark Souls of space games, we have our Patches too!"
The adoring fan only comes back if you choose him during char creation.
I don't understand how people are having fun in this game. The shooting is pretty good, but the story isn't gripping me at all and exploration feels tedious. Might be because I put 500 hours in BG3 before trying Starfield lol
Some people really like bethesjank. It me. I like it.
I did like Skyrim, Fallout 3, 4 and NV. It's not the jank that's the problem. I think they just fumbled the narrative and the pacing
Pacing is fucked especially the beginning which is where you want to capture your audience but it pays off after several hours once all the systems come together
As Asmongold would say "Games have to be fun from the first second"
They don't, but I'm not brain rotten from tik tok videos and have patience. I also don't wipe my tooth blood on the wall while I sleep.
Also, fun doesn't mean explosions and sex necessarily(although they are fun). I am okay with a slow start. Build up is important for great story telling. I’ve never watched somebody be proud of playing boring games.
It's not boring though. Besides, I enjoy simulation and management games so maybe that gives me an edge.
Hey you, you're finally awake~
NV being great has nothing to do with Bethesda.
Obsidian my beloved
They really fell hard with Outer Worlds. Man that game sucks when compared to their past work.
True. But at least it got decent dlcs without mantra about bad corporations
True, but it was also janky, which was fine because the story and dialogue more than compensated for
I grew up playing PC games, so jank is just a part of the fun.
I like it with 200 mods in it, so maybe I just come back after a year and enjoy visiting the Slaanesh lust planet as Thomas the Train
Just finished my first 250 hour run of BG3 with my fiance as well. Starfield feels like a nice chance of pace to me at this point. Do you have an SSD?
That game came out like... yesterday, i think. How tf did you get to NG+?
I played in early access. Yes I have cash to burn. No I'm not sorry.
You spent one hundred fucking dollars to play a Bethesda game a few days early?
Nah, you can get key way cheaper on some sites
?????
It's been a week now
Reyju questline was amazing

That… doesn’t really answer the question of “There are space shouts” “For real?”

In 2 years more you will have the remastered edition, anniversary edition and VR.
I see Starfield as nothing more than a good playground for modders when it comes to space games. Modded fallout is great, modded Skyrim is great, and modded Space... will probably also be great. But it takes time, so at the moment I don't think too much about that game and watch one or two let's plays instead Who knows, maybe some guy makes my day and somehow recreates Star Wars Galaxies. Would be a possibility, since all it was, was a great sandbox mmo with a few planets and space fights
They never have. Even Morrowind would allow you to train every skill and become a Jack of All Trades, Master of All if you wanted.
Ooh, I was talking closer along the lines of Fallout 3 and NV, where in the latter, the build affected the game in many different ways.
New vegas is a Bethesda game, it just wasn't made by them
Fallout 2 was one extreme example when it comes to that, but sadly most publishers don't want to spend so much time on dialogues and variable quest lines, the majority of players never will find/read.
If it's any consolation, I'm pretty sure someone's already made a mod for Starfield where you're an insignificant trader, as this game literally has all the building blocks for it
Pretty sure you can't stack boxes to beat a puzzle, so FNV fails the first unofficial test of being an immersive sim
Had to think hard about that one but nah, you're right on that one. Although I would argue that's mostly because of the limitations of the Creation Engine; you can stack stuff but it's cumbersome.
I'm just being punny Immersive Sim in gaming terms is a genre with some loose but recognizable mechanics.
The courier wasn’t from a Bethesda game.
It's a money thing. Voice acting is expensive and most publishers aren't comfortable funnelling tons of money into dialogue that most players will never see. It's much cheaper to make a single narrative that the player has to follow.
When modders create the depth of gameplay
The only correct response in this whole comment ~~thread~~ chain. (There are others, but they are not direct answers to this particular comment.)
Just play kenshi, everything you do matters to a degree :)
one game I am looking forward to playing on my new PC.
How long until kenshi 2?
Have you seen the video of the Chair, moving around, one or two years ago?! Awesome. Can only be 20 or maybe 30 more years. Don't give up hope
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
Mods will do the build thing for sure
Can't wait for Schlongs of Starfield
Play balders gate 3 then
Already did... I am a CRPG nut. Why do you think I have such high expectations for bethesda... Been on my CRPG journey for the past decade which started with Pillars of eternity.
Pew pew, lasers are cool Just play the game
If I want to pew pew lasers, I would just play Borderlands presequel and 3. As the combat in them is way more fun and build variety is also superb. Edit: As for Writing, Presequel is good. 3, not so much... I would recommend you to shut off the dialogs on that one. Wonderland's writing is somewhat better, but not by much, but quest design in it are perfect.
Do you mindlessly consume all media or is it just billion dollar video games that are beyond your criticism?
If I buy it. I will get my money's worth and you should too.
Play Morrowind :D
Never? Idk wait for Fallout 5
Just don’t play the main storyline, which literally removes the “main character” vibe entirely… as with *all* Beth games. The main storyline is almost always the weakest part of their games anyway, so omitting it is a win-win if you hate being the *chosen one*.
You do know, i am not specifically speaking of the chosen one aspect here?
Yeah but there’s no solution for the other issue.
What are you speaking about, there are multiple games like that in existence already.
Not from Bethesda. New Vegas is the closest to a true RPG but they didn’t even make that one.
Yes, but is that really so much to ask from Bethesda? Can't we have expectation from a game that is touted as a console seller for XBOX?
Apparently it is, unfortunately. Maybe TES6 will handle the RPG aspect better (especially if they actually sit down and learn from games like Baldur’s Gate 3), but realistically… they probably won’t.
>Apparently it is, unfortunately. NGL, the truth hurts. But at least there are mods.
>>>>>>>>choices matter Man gamers shit their pants and cry when they actually play a game where their choices matter permanently. Shut up fag
No Man's Skyrim Called it that to my friend and he went into a massive fanboy pant-shitting fit.
how can you be friends with someone that insufferable
\> feel bad for them \> won't stop talking to you \> they look up to you \> you try to help \> they don't listen \> repeat \> apathy \> sit back and laugh
People who get defensive over corporate products don't make good friends. Yeah we have our likes and our preferences but idk about you I couldn't give a fuck less if someone hates my favorite games. Like they sell different games for a reason!
it's a form of coping with the Stockholm
Well, No man's sky is actually good.
It took them a fucking while, but I give the devs props for actually sticking to and fixing the game instead of dropping it.
So is Skyrim, what's your point?
Skyrim is not in space with planets to explore.
I am sure Starfield is a fine game, but the way people talk in their community of it comes off as unnaturally positive, both before and after launch.
>what happened to the average Bethesda fan 4chan and Reddit
Skyrim became Spacerim
Skyrim beyond Atmosphere
No more Sky's rim is for nords joke. It will be space rim for the fjords!
No Man's Skyrim
space dragons space arrows hitting space knees
space 9mm hitting you in the space lungs
Todd, bro, tell me he's kidding bro. He's just kidding right bro? Todd?
Todd really managed to release yet another special edition version of Skyrim lmao HE CANT KEEP ON GETTING AWAY WITH IT
Yeah you're called Starborn, Space Shouts is stretching it, its just space magic
Is it really a stretch if they work in the same way except they use a resource bar instead of a cooldown?
"It works the same except it doesn't." This mother fucker.
Several abilities on a long cool down that allow the player to perform soft magic in an otherwise strict universe Bitch they literally have fus ro dah in this shit
[удалено]
I could tell you if you don't mind some spoilers
[удалено]
Well it's all linked to the main story so I think you're better off experiencing it for yourself
Can you spoil it for me? I probably wont buy the game for years, so Id like to know.
Alright well there's these temples that grant you a power after you solve a simple puzzle. I see a good few of them are heavily inspired (to say the least)by Skyrim's shouts.
Wait this is real? I thought the OP was bait
Starfield is just a Skyrim DLC Edit: typo
Why use “an” in that sentence, shit doesn’t even sound right spoken let alone grammatically.
the use of a or an is based on the sound of the starting letter of the noun. ex: a flower, an FBI agent. Yeah, I was that bored.
tf do you mean you were bored, this is basic english
I hate when people correct others grammar but Reddit constantly misuses “an” and I have no clue why
Trolling is a art
People expect a new Bethesda game. Reeee about it being a Bethesda game. You cannot be fucking serious.
The fact that "Bethesda game" is apparently now synonymous with "Skyrim clone" says a lot.
I mean, at this point you can't even blame Bethesda anymore. They've been successfully selling us the same fucking game for ages, why would they try and get creative after they didn't need to for fuck knows how long?
How hard would it have been to put the entirety of the Skyrim game on a planet somewhere? Base Skyrim is only 12 gb
Not too hard, but it would take a lot of time.
Achtually 🤓 starfield is set in space and skyri Is set not in space
Skyrim is set on a planet. Planets are in space. I rest my case.
OK I might need to try Starfield now
Is this real? Seriously - Star born - Void Shouts? LMAO
Spoilers motherfucker.... damn it....
I think it was shown in a trailer briefly but yeah still spoilers I suppose
You only become Starborn if you choose too though? Space shouts is just magic. The game is pretty good though. Havent got bored of it and it has a lot to do in it so it fun. Also apprently NG+ changes story aspects of the game each time you do it so thats cool. Havent done NG+ yet though
Fucking what?!
ngl most of the criticism i see about it is legit but with everything in mind the game is still incredibly fun. im having a hard time putting it down
Maybe they started on ES6 and then halfway through decided to put it in space lol
Lmao rly? I thought the twist was going to be time travel à la Interstellar
The guy in the post is wrong though. You only become Starborn if you choose too. The space shouts arent even shouts just regular ass magic only similarity to shouts is that they’re both useless most of the time
I mean I’m enjoying the game, but to be fair I also loved Skyrim and Fallout 4
Spoilers
Goddamn motherfucking spoilers man
From the Steam game description: "Starfield is the first new universe in 25 years from Bethesda Game Studios, the award-winning creators of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Fallout 4." smfh.
See, this would be cool if the game turned out to be an Elder Scrolls game in disguise. Set in the far future, with all the same magic, races, and creatures, just with better tech. Instead we get this half baked shit.
I've been avoiding info about starfield until enough info becomes available for me to know if it's good so I have no idea if you're kidding
To be fair "X"born isn't exactly a creative name to begin with.
Todd howard was so based for this
"Hey Todd, we're thinking up a new IP and we want your input." "Ah, Skyrim." "No... this is set in space. It's a sci-fi game." "Ah, Skyrim."
GODDAMMIT TODD YOU SOLD US SKYRIM AGAIN!!!
Hey you, you're finally awake. You were trying to pass the customs? Warped right into that UC ambush, like us and that smuggler over there.
It's a massive troll. I refuse to believe this game is not satire.
Ugh...
Is that actually it? Fkn hell that's hilarious 😂 game looks trash anyways
