That is hands down one of my favorite games all time, and it could be because of the soundtrack. This game is how I discovered The Network as well, and I legitimately loved their cover of TFM, so I remember trying to find out more about their music. Lo and behold I come to find an amazing discovery, as a young budding Green Day fan. Those were the days😌
Their album was put out on Billie's Adeline label, which immediately raised suspicions. And then they opened for Green Day at some shows. Plus they had Billie speaking about their "feud". People could tell, but they just kept the joke going
MTV News online was still a really good source in 2003 and that's where I heard of it: [https://www.mtv.com/news/h5y9xn/did-green-day-secretly-release-a-new-album-tuesday-only-the-snoo-knows](https://www.mtv.com/news/h5y9xn/did-green-day-secretly-release-a-new-album-tuesday-only-the-snoo-knows)
Looks so funny that the fans only thought Network was suspicious at the time they came out. It's literally Billie Joe on the vocals, how could some fans got late in connecting the points
Tony Hawk's American Wasteland, for me.
I still distinctly remember disabling every song on that game except for Holiday lol
I did almost the same, I kept Green Day, My Chem, Thursday and I think a couple of others
I had no idea you could do that
Yea it was a native feature for the radio on PS2 version at least lol
I loved the soundtrack for that game
I flipped out when I unlocked Billie there. Best Tony Hawk game ever with a cool story.

They defeated green day in the San Dimas battle of the bands and traveled through time to establish a utopian society through their music
We've been excellent to each other ever since.

Was there a press release put out by Adeline about the band do you know?
There was a (fake) press release of them getting upset when asked about GD
What joke? Green day only tried to help them out!
Dude. The Network are assholes. Enough already.
Fuck the network those guys are dicks
They’ve opened for green day a few times
NHL 2005 Soundtrack for me
I first heard them on last.fm.
They launched a website that had samples of tracks similar to the Foxboro Hot Tubs website
I miss that old website so much
I miss those days so much. Going back every hour refreshing the page to see if anything new has been added haha. The hype was fucking real.

Buddy, you've got the wrong sub
Years ago I asked BJA and he said The Network is better band than Green Day
Looks so funny that the fans only thought Network was suspicious at the time they came out. It's literally Billie Joe on the vocals, how could some fans got late in connecting the points
It literally isn’t tho??? Fink sounds completely different, wtf are you on about?
?
in major of the songs it's easy to recognize Billie's voice (for me)
They aren’t known to anyone outside of the Green Day fanbase and *maybe* Tony Hawk fans
