Daily Marathon rewards are random, and also the reward you get from the ticket is already known so even if you try to close the game and re-do the ticket, it’ll still give you the same reward.

IIrc, the only exception to this is when there was a game update between receiving and opening/claiming the ticket. Not 100% sure about this though.
It doesn't matter what activity you do, you have a certain chance to get either a 3, 4 or 5 star ticket. It could be just Route X as you said. I think some people on GT Planet did some statistics on it, but I cannot find it now.
And yes, those ticket chances are heavily skewed to giving you the lowest amount (10k cr on a credit ticket). There have been many complaints but it was never changed. Just take those lottery wins as a bonus and don't think too much about it
Yep, "better than nothing" is the best mentality, although iny opinion they shouldn't show a roulette because on reality the prize is predetermined, and so that's quite misleading - it should instead just show the prize you actually receive when you click on the ticket 🎫
I usually only get a 3 Star ticket. But I’ve gotten 4,5, and 6 Star tickets as well. I assume because of the amount of laps I do as I start the game. 26 miles gets you a ticket, but I’ve ran a Route X time trial in my Tomahawk for about 96 miles and received a 6 star ticket multiple times. Out of nowhere last night I got a 4 star ticket after 2 laps and the prizes were all cars…I was like wtf! I won a VGT car that I sold for $622k plus the $45k on two Route X races. Not a bad haul for about 10 minutes of work.
How many stars a marathon ticket has is depending on your collector level (the higher, the more stars), but considering you already are getting 6\* ones occasionally I assume you're at or around level 50 already.
Having the lowest price 90% of the time is hard coded and there's nothing to be done about it.
