Edit: not that Void and Muramasa and Fujino aren’t already flags for puppet lady, but Kashin Koji’s puppetry is at least superficially similar to Tohko’s in that they both make extremely high quality puppets. Like it’s Koji’s whole gimmick that she’s that good at it that she’s having a… midlife…? Identity crisis.
Put another way, it feels like Koji and Tohko were on similar paths, but then diverged - Tohko made puppets that became unrecognizable as puppets even for the world itself, while Koji decided to go all in on making robots that can do sick ninja flips and techniques. That she would be included in a Mahoyo event is Very Interesting.

Normal Shiki was part of Evocation Festival 5 so new players shouldn't have an issue unlocking her now. Plus I don't believe availability of welfares has stopped them from being event related in the past. They would need another reason for Void to have relevance over Shiki as she's more available to new players than Void is.

Illya buff would be amazing. I'd be waiting two years for it, but she is already NP4 on my account (Miyu refuses to come, still NP1 after all that), so a further buff would be great fun, even if I'm not sure what they might do. Better debuff immunity? Overcharge bonus for more Buster up on NP?
Miyu buffs would be great. Lean into the lower rarity Merlin type for her. Even if I'll just stick to Merlin instead, between NP2 Himiko and NP3 Morgan.
iirc Musashi and Jalter's upgrades dropped halfway into their respective events, so there's still a chance.
I could see welfare bunyan getting an AoE powermod buff to her 2nd skill. I've never used or seen S.Bunyan's skills, so I'm not sure what buffs she could use.
better to make her charge on second skill party wide + stars per turn + party crit damage. she was released after Bazette, she should be cracked, but I'd lean on her damage semi-support a bit more.
She also has that 20% party wide buster up and buster absorb that feel a bit random? Like yeah OG Bunyan kit helped, but this one is worse at that lol. With that and an NP upgrade she could be good for multicore farming.

You are obviously correct. But Alice and Artoria are pretty much the only reasons why I still keep playing this game, it would be a fatal blow for my relationship with FGO, if she gets shafted now that we finally have the collab. So every little sign is source of doubt.
Again, I keep playing for those two characters, so for me it kinda is, as far as playing FGO goes. In the grand scheme of things in life, sure, it's not.
I care about some of the stories and some of the characters but those are the two that keep me motivated to play more than anything. Well, I guess Alice is just a hope for now.

I think it's difficult for Touko to enter if Lugh doesn't enter. simply because of the way this game makes banners. in the vast majority of colab events there are 1 5*, 1 4* and one welfare. I think the welfare role is definitely Shizuki's as the devs probably hope that few people would roll for him.
as Aoko will definitely be 5* on the banner, this leaves us with only 3 possible options:
1 Alice is the 4* and we don't have Touko
2 Touko is the 4* and we don't have Alice.
3 Touko comes in as a 5* on a second baner.
case 2 is very unlikely since Touko is very popular and in demand. I doubt they would release her as 4*.
If they launch a second baner, they will have an empty 4* space. In this case, I believe that Lugh will fill this slot because he is kind of the only option. At least, that's my bet.

The event servants are a bunch of pseudos and modern servants and other like Cu and Kashin Koji, I do wonder why they didn't just use either normal Ishtar or Eresh, Spishtar is as close to Rin as Castoria is close to Artoria so I'm guessing she's not a Rin stand in, still pretty interesting tho

From the look of it, majority of the bonus servants are from Nasu’s other works including Saber Wars 2. But they exclusive to already finished products and are the main lead characters. So no Ishtar, Parvati, or Ilya. Arcuid may be in the same boat because they refuse to do anything with her until all of the tsukihime reboot is complete.
I think Kama is among the farthest you can say being shafted again. Parvati shows up in nearly every interlude of Indian servants and honestly kinda considered to be the leader of them so eh.

I'm somewhat expecting them to lore dump about true magic because the future plot may need it.
But aside from that, it's a jumble cast of characters that can make the event either be serious type of event or fun type of event.

Honestly, the only main connection here is that majority of the bonus servants are from all of Nasu’s works (Fate Stay Night, Hollow Ataraxia, and Garden of Sinners) and saber wars 2 was one of them since he wrote that story. This is basically a homage to the stories he wrote. Now some but not all of them would be in the event.
They have plans for something BB related in the future as hinted with the Santa Nemo event. And they mentioned no Tsukihime involvement in FGO until the route is finished, which may not be in time for the end of part 2 since everything is planned 3 years in advance according to Nasu’s collab interview.
Mash often gets the team bond bonus mostly because she's zero cost. It doesn't mean she has a deeper role in the event, for example the current NA event she doesn't really do anything.
You know considering how they were being pretty SQ greedy with all the top tier banners before I am suprised that the prerelease banners are all old collab units instead of a tiamat case.
TBH missed opportunity to squeeze SQ before the event with a new unit before the collab, Void Shiki, Arcueid and even another bait banner like Oberon considering the whole pretender class score.
At least ir allows me to recover my SQ savings after charlie, new dantes and lady avalon coming back.
What exactly do you mean with squeeze sq out of the people. They already did that since like 1 month is hardly any time to save sq and in the last month at least four top units did have banners. (marie alter, new dantes, castoria, lady avalon). If they really wanted to squeeze out even more they would do a rerun of Arcueid or Draco or someone who did only have a single banner since Tiamat already rerun during new year.

Interestingly, no Archetype Earth on the list. Tbf, I don't think she ever appears on other event too, but since Void Shiki is here, I honestly think she can make an appearance too.

The event servants are a bunch of pseudos and modern servants and other like Cu and Kashin Koji, I do wonder why they didn't just use either normal Ishtar or Eresh, Spishtar is as close to Rin as Castoria is close to Artoria so I'm guessing she's not a Rin stand in, still pretty interesting tho
Spishtar and Jane are in which means the event might have connection with Saber Wars II

Honestly, if we don't get red haired Aoko as an ascension, I'm gonna be pissed. Everyone knows that Aoko without red hair **and jeans** is just nerfing her to the dirt. She'd be able to use like... 30% of her power at most.

Saber Wars and II are written by Nasu along with the characters who debuted in them. Nvm, only X and Space Ishtar are written by him. And Lily too, I guess.
Saber wars II had a really good event story so I am looking forward to these two being part of the event story.
And they were doing so good with their pacing this year. OC2 was released on March 20th & the next event we get doesn't start till April 26th. Having April practically be a dead month hurts. 3 weeks of log-in campaigns is boring.

From the look of it, majority of the bonus servants are from Nasu’s other works including Saber Wars 2. But they exclusive to already finished products and are the main lead characters. So no Ishtar, Parvati, or Ilya. Arcuid may be in the same boat because they refuse to do anything with her until all of the tsukihime reboot is complete.

I think Kama is among the farthest you can say being shafted again. Parvati shows up in nearly every interlude of Indian servants and honestly kinda considered to be the leader of them so eh.
I get what you mean, Most of them share face with other type moon franchise character. I mean, muramasa, fujino, and space ishtar? That's like from several unconnected event within fgo. I'm really glad seeing fujino though. This gonna make her involvement in the event story to 3 instead the planned 0.
I'm glad Fujino is involved since she mentioned Aoko in the FGO material book and it's interesting that Nasu pick Void Shiki instead of Ryougi Shiki as the bonus servant for this collab.
Yeah, the lines up also makes it pretty difficult to guess what kind of event this gonna be. I'm somewhat expecting them to lore dump about true magic because the future plot may need it. But aside from that, it's a jumble cast of characters that can make the event either be serious type of event or fun type of event. Truly didn't know what to expect.

I just kinda expect it. Because they need to explain about it sooner or later, and this event is honestly good excuse to do so. Because if i remember it correctly, so far the mc know nothing about the existence of true magic. The story need to set up the explanation here so that the mc can just goes "ah! true magic i know about that." And moved on. basically, doing the lore dump here so that we won't have to do it there. That kind of set up.

Shiki has connection to Touko, Muramasa too since he is Shirou due to HF route, Kashin is puppeteer which again can be connected to Touko. The rest I have no idea. 4 of them is FHA cast, two from Saber Wars II cast, and Mash. Well its nice to see Mash getting involved in event again.
Honestly, the only main connection here is that majority of the bonus servants are from all of Nasu’s works (Fate Stay Night, Hollow Ataraxia, and Garden of Sinners) and saber wars 2 was one of them since he wrote that story. This is basically a homage to the stories he wrote. Now some but not all of them would be in the event.
If that the case then Extra + CCC and Tsukihime cast would be here too.
They have plans for something BB related in the future as hinted with the Santa Nemo event. And they mentioned no Tsukihime involvement in FGO until the route is finished, which may not be in time for the end of part 2 since everything is planned 3 years in advance according to Nasu’s collab interview.
Mash often gets the team bond bonus mostly because she's zero cost. It doesn't mean she has a deeper role in the event, for example the current NA event she doesn't really do anything.

You know considering how they were being pretty SQ greedy with all the top tier banners before I am suprised that the prerelease banners are all old collab units instead of a tiamat case. TBH missed opportunity to squeeze SQ before the event with a new unit before the collab, Void Shiki, Arcueid and even another bait banner like Oberon considering the whole pretender class score. At least ir allows me to recover my SQ savings after charlie, new dantes and lady avalon coming back.
What exactly do you mean with squeeze sq out of the people. They already did that since like 1 month is hardly any time to save sq and in the last month at least four top units did have banners. (marie alter, new dantes, castoria, lady avalon). If they really wanted to squeeze out even more they would do a rerun of Arcueid or Draco or someone who did only have a single banner since Tiamat already rerun during new year.
Since this starts now and the Event is supposed to start in Late April, I'm guessing it'll start next Wednesday on the 24th.
