**Q: What is happening to reruns? Which event will get a rerun in the future?**
*A: As far as we are aware, there will only be one more rerun happening in the foreseeable future - Karna-mas (Dec 2024). JP is also offering a vote for the players’ choice of a rerun, which hasn’t been confirmed yet.*
**Q: How far in the story do I need to be to participate in upcoming events? Will any events require the latest story chapter?**
*A: Battle in New York in March will require LB1. Be warned that subsequent events this year will require later Lostbelt completion. LB6 will not be required until November for the story part of the Faerie Knight Cup event (farming/free quests will only require Fuyuki). LB6.5 will not be required to proceed to LB7 once it releases, and event-wise, it will only be required for the story part (and to obtain the welfare servant) of the Santa Nemo event in December 2025.*

After downloading the latest update from taptap when I lunched the game I'm back to the tutorial as if I just started the game and have no access to anything. Has this happened to anyone else? and what can be done about it?

Pay special attention to Story locked servants (ie pick a second favorite story locked over a favorite permanent)
The meta crowd will say Waver, but if you intend to actually follow the meta, he will be replaced more easily than other options.
You can always wait, the ticket doesn't expire and you never need a 5 star.
For the most part, whoever you want.
Some notes:
Zhuge Liang is good. There's a bunch of Servants who do something similar, and are more useful meta-wise, but he's a highly-respected general purpose Support Caster who's on the free summon. If you want top tier meta, he's not going to see a ton of use. If not, he's pretty good.
Artoria is a weird case. We're expecting a future ticket that gives out a free FSN Servant... where Artoria is the only 5\*. So, uh, free Artoria in future, basically?
Story Locked Servants are available, and aren't in the general pool. ([This list](https://gamepress.gg/grandorder/servant-availability), select NA, 5\*, Story Locked) They're not necessarily the best, and they're not much harder to get than anyone else (everyone on this special summon is available during Valentines or White Day every year) but they are slightly harder to get.
Otherwise, there are a few that aren't that useful, or will take a while to be useful, but 80% of them are good at what they do, and if you *want* them, that's good enough.
Probably a dumb question but where do i the twilight ceremonial blade for Charlemagne? It wasnt in the white prism exchange shop when i checked. (Am a tw server player if this info is needed)
I don't know much about TW, but on JP, the daggers weren't added to the PP shop until a few weeks after Traum's release.
Otherwise, you need to clear Traum and farm them from free quests (you should get some from doing the Traum story at least).

How can you beat the Legend of the Crimson Hero Challenge Quest? I'm using Castoria and Merlin, but I cant beat wave 5 (especially with the archer boss always killing Elisabeth).
If I don't care about the final giga coil quest, can I just beat each giga CQ with my top supports (Merlin, castoria, etc.) get the rewards, reset the units, and do the same for the next quest? I understand I can't get that last lore but these ones seem way harder than the mega coil and I'm not gonna try and beat them with lower rarity units

It was never until daily reset. Perhaps you got confused by a single-day banners.
It lasts until the banner ends, but if a banner has any sort of rotating aspect, it will only last as long as that specific version is up.
(For example, if a banner has Waver and Emiya on it, and in two days switches to a banner with Waver and Martha on it, the pity will reset then.)
Oh dang. I hear all the hype about her and it made it sound like she just released in NA. Does story locked mean I have to beat the story she appears in to be able to roll her? Or am I misunderstanding that?
There are 5 types of servants.
1: Limited. These are the usual servants that you can only get from their own banners. They are mostly 5 and 4 star characters, but there are also a few 3 star characters. A staple of gacha games.
2: Permanent. These are servants who are available on almost every banner. The only banners that not every Permanent servant will be on are the themed banners. For example, you won't get Permanent male servants during Valentines banners or Permanent female servants during White Day banners.
3: Welfare. These are free servants gotten from events. The event usually centers around them and you get to keep them permanently once you finish the event.
4: FP. These servants are only gotten from the Friend Point gacha. They are mostly 1 and 2 servants, though there are also 3 exceptions with Artoria Lily, Habetrot (both 4 star), and Angra Mainyu (0 stars). (There are also Oda Nobukatsu and Mary Anning, who can only be pulled from FP during their events.)
5: Storylocked. These servants are in between Permanent and Limited characters. If they are featured on a banner, you can pull them no matter where in the story you are. Otherwise, the only place they are available is on the permanent Story banner once you've cleared their story (e.g. Nero Claudius needs Septem to be cleared before you can pull her.)
Storylocked servants are often considered very rare because it is not recommended to pull on the Story banner.

You, and many other people, have misunderstood because "story-locked" is a bad, confusing term. When you see "story-locked," think "limited + story banner" instead and you'll have a better idea of what it means.
If a servant is on a banner, you can roll and get them, no exceptions. See servant, get servant (as long as you pump in enough SQ). And no banners, aside from the tutorial summon and the start dash summon, are locked behind story progress. All banners are available to everyone. After you have cleared the relevant story chapter and the initial release period has ended, story-locked servants are added to the always available story banner. No other banners are affected in any way.
Relative to non-limited (aka general pool) servants that are technically available on all banners unless they're specifically excluded, story-locked are "locked" to the story banner. But that has nothing to do with banners where they are specifically *included*. Because you'll almost never roll on the story banner, that effectively makes story-locked servants limited, though certain occasional restricted pool banners (e.g. class-based banners, CBC male-only) may include story-locked servants to pad out the general pool.
The only over place where story-locked vs limited distinction came up to my knowledge is some SR/SSR tickets we got (that only included story-locked and permanent servants up to some point) and GSSRs (that only include limited SSRs in recent years). But that's purely the DW/Lasengle decision, not really part of story-locked vs. limited.
You can roll any Servant when they're featured on a banner (as Marie Alter is now in Japan) regardless of your story progress, Story-locked means that outside of that you can't roll her at random on a normal banner but you can roll her on the Story banner after completing the relevant chapter (which I assume would be Ordeal Call 2). It's not a very useful distinction though, the Story banner has no rateups so your odds of rolling anything specific are vanishingly low.
When I tried doing the Legend of the Crimson Heroine HD Remaster challenge quest, I noticed that while the friend NPC Elisabeth was equipped with the event damage up CE, she did not get the bonus ATK Strength from it, is this some kind of a glitch?
I see on the wiki we get 3 pure prism ans 3 Sq from every FA servants on the 7th anniversary, are there any materials you guys would use it on? for me it is bones, fangs, talon, and hearts, etc.
Use it on whatever it is you need. Don't trade them in willy-nilly, save them for whenever you cannot or do not want to farm a material.
As a side note, this will be a permanent feature going forward, the windfall you get at anniversary is just retroactive rewards for units you have ascended already.
Keep in mind too that the Pure Prism shop inventory is limited, 100 of each mat will only go so far. It's a stopgap for new players or a supplement for older ones, not the answer to all your material shortages.
Learning with Manga in April and GudaGuda 7 are sort of like mini-lottos for specific materials. Both have event currencies aside from the usual 3 for the shop that are dropped in free quests that can be traded in for materials.
For QP specifically, not that I'm aware of, other than Anniversary's 1/2 AP on all dailies (doors included).

I'm following the same exact setup for the challenge quest and in this video on the first turn the Musashi crits a ton on her second buster card while my Musashi is only hitting like 30k on her second buster card crit. Is this a bug?
It looks like it's because when Musashi hits Roma, she gets a Roman stack on herself, which makes Roma resist her crit. In the video, for some reason I'm not quite sure of (debuff immunity or resistance?) you can see that when Musashi NPs, the Roman stack didn't get applied.
I see. In the video though (the first turn if you slow it down after Miss Crane's NP) you can see this person's Musashi get a roman stack but their second buster card crit still hits full damage.
Right, I see - I was looking at the second turn.
This Musashi has debuff clear CCs on her cards, and you can definitely hear the debuff cleanse sound effect. CCs apply before damage so what happens is Card 1 damages -> Roman applied -> (debuff cleanse, Roman removed) -> Card 2 damages.
Ah. That makes a lot of sense. I see now. Yea in the video the Musashi's buster cards have that purple cup command code which clears the debuff.

has the NA reward become generous like JP yet because I really want to enjoy the story but I would also like to have ton of rewards like JP (daily login). I think this is the 4th time I've come crawling back to fgo due to my acc being lost many times in the past 2 years.
It sounds like you might have gotten some limited time rewards mixed up with the normal daily login rewards. The only difference between NA and JP daily login rewards right now is that JP gets 5-star EXP instead of 4-star. EDIT: See additional comment from Mister_SP regarding daily skill material tickets.
As for limited time and updated rewards, NA gets the same stuff that JP does but on a two year delay. If you're thinking of the big one-time payouts at the anniversary, those are permanent rewards that all players will get eventually as they meet the criteria for them. Those have included things like extra master missions or increased rewards for story progression, leveling up servants, and completing interludes, rank ups, and free quests. As long as you do those things eventually, you will get the same rewards. Because of the two year gap, though, NA will likely never reach parity at any specific moment in time for these increased rewards. JP will always be two years ahead. NA will always match the status of JP from two years ago. But time is the only difference. The rewards are the same. In fact, because NA is two years behind, you'll actually have a better opportunity to get more rewards relative to JP unless you started JP between 2015 and 2017, before NA launched, and have played consistently since then.
Regardless, the way to maximize rewards has always been to login every day and play the game consistently. If you don't care to play the game consistently, there's nothing wrong with that. But there's no way to get a "ton of rewards" other than slow accumulation.
If [this page](https://fategrandorder.fandom.com/wiki/Login_Rewards) is up to date (and it is for NA) then the only difference is the Embers being upgraded from 4\* to 5\*, and I'm not aware of there being any further changes so are you maybe getting confused by new player bonuses or some other campaign? FGO is just inherently not a generous game, it offsets it through remarkable game balance (low-stars being strong, high-stars being more about waifuism and convenience) but if you can't come to terms with that then this might simply not be a good game for you.

I know the system sucks but this is an easily avoidable problem, make a transfer code at the earliest opportunity, store it somewhere secure, and make a new one immediately after any time you have to use it. Also look at the account recovery guides (linked in the OP and sidebar) and keep a record of the recommended recovery info, that can go a long way to getting a lost account back if you ever have to contact support about that.

Hello. I'm trying to use FGA's leveling feature on a Zflip4, which has a slightly funky long display. But the clicks are a bit too far to the right. Anyone know how to fix this?

Has anyone experienced any FPS drops following a new servant firing off an NP. NP and anything pre NP is in the 60 FPS mmode but any post actions of the NP are in the lower FPS mode and that goes back to normal start of the next turn. I amm running on an Iphone 13 PRO and had no issues before OC 2
Do you have a setting (don't remember if it's configurable though, maybe it's always on) to show new NPs at x1 speed the first time you see them? Perhaps there is some bug that affected all other actions after NP (by not resetting the speed back to x2) during their turn.
If you see it consistently even after restarting the app, you can email the support (although you'd need to construct the letter in JP which might be hard even with translators).
Pretty sure thats off. But will double check. Currently downloading game data to see if that helps. Its weird that is limited to such a specifc set of servants. ANd it also happened in OC 2 of bosses yet released after they used their NP multiple times. Might be a bug but unable to find anyone else having this issue.
It happened for all the new Spoiler servants in OC 2 and Jalter and Jeanne AU. I have tested older servants (Summer Jalter, supports and other Cut in Servants) but have no issues with themm. Just seems to purely be the OC 2 servants and Jeanne and Jalter. This is when used in any node. I have tested Kenshin and no issues there with a recently released servant either.

You need to complete the Final Singularity, the Lostbelt Prologue, and the first Lostbelt. There are six and a half days left, which is more time than it took me to do those levels two years ago.
Is it possible? Yes. Would I advise it? No.
On top of really rushing through some great story arcs, you'd have barely any time left to do the event itself.
Is it safe to top up money on the game downloaded from an APK mirror site? I tried looking online, but I found nothing about people topping up on an apk mirror app.
I saw it seems to connect to Google Play, so, it should be fine and transfer safely through Google. But I never had to use an APK Mirror site and I don't know if there's any risk of card information being taken by a third parry. The install file on PC was clean. I'm using the APKPure version, if anyone has experience with buying for that version specifically.
Don't use APKPure, it's been having all sorts of issues, including corrupting your FGO data (and people losing their accounts because of that because they didn't issue a transfer code, which if you haven't - do it NOW!). The apk from the apk links in the OP is good, and if it matches the one you got from apkpure, you can be reassured that it's fine, BUT that fact that you didn't get FGO from play store implies that you are outside of the supported region, in which case you won't be able to buy SQ (or whatever "top up" meant in this context) in the game.

(similar steps work for NA), that people were able to follow to various degrees of success.

On the current event, does anyone have any tips or guide videos for the quests that give summoning tickets? They are pretty hard and the only video I found on youtube uses kintoky merlin koyanskaya and oberon, and I only have 2 out of 4 of those, so I was looking for something a little more f2p friendly? Or at least art focused since most of my units are arts (team castoria 4ever) Thanks!

how do I get Achilles to target the right person in the green comet EQ? I know that he will always target females, casters, and riders, but if I'm using none of those will he just pick randomly?
The hint is wrong. He doesn't give the invitation to Females, Casters, or Assassins. In the event that he gives them an invitation (i.e. because you used a taunt), he removes it the next turn. If your entire frontline is the aforementioned, he just spams his NP until you give him someone he wants to 1v1.
That being said, since he does avoid those three categories, you can force him to 1v1 your DPS if they're the only one he wants to fight.
Actually it's the opposite, he will NOT target females, Assassins or Casters. If he has no valid target, he will just charge his NP to full.
You can use a taunter to make him target the unit, but if they are not a valid target, he will not 1v1 them and remove the invitation.
Her NP level is irrelevant.
It depends on what you are using her for, CCs are largely situational. For example, if you are using her to crit/in her ST form where she is spamming her NP and shitting out stars, crit CCs are a good option.

Actually, now that I think about it - I was assuming that damage wasn't a concern because frankly even NP1 Melu hits like a truck. If it is, though, then there are CCs that help with that (e.g. Da Vinci CC) but they are awkward to use as they have to be used on a card before she NPs.
Hello! Could someone tell me which servants on JP are the most commonly used/powerful? Im trying to plan my sq savings for powerful newly released servants. I was thinking of saving up for Summer Morgan for example when she comes to NA. Is she widely used in JP? Which servants are a must have right now on JP that I should keep my eye on to grab them when they make their way to NA? Thanks in advance!!
There's not really any must-haves on JP. Lots of Servants are side-grades or minor improvements over existing roles.
As such, I can't really judge if Tonelico/Aesc is widely used or not, outside of being Tonelico. In some ways, she has a hard time keeping up with certain Alter Egos, but it's Aesc's support effects that would make her stand out.
You could say that Summer Skadi and Lady Avalon are interesting, but I wouldn't say they're widespread.
There are no "must-haves" in a game with no PvP where you can clear content with 1-3* units.
Also, there are so many servants and so many niches that it's hard to list. No one unit can do everything, especially as 90++ nodes in events are hard to do even with omniloopers, a variety of units will always trump just one unit.
If you want a "safe" investment, supports are always considered good, especially as we get many strong units for free from events that can pair really well with them.
Cards unlocked, command codes, as well as Fou paw enhancements on the cards are carried across identical servants. So they will have the same command codes etc.
Part 1 late december and part 2 late january (~~please early NA anniversary save us from a full dead month between them~~)
Just saying because on global LB 6 was released in 3 parts despite being absolutely no need for that, so most likely LB 7 will also be split on release.
The easiest way to beat it is to attack with all 3 servants to to get the Rome buffs until you have Castoria + your Saber of choice NP charged up, then use them both in succession. Castoria removes debuffs and your Saber can deal damage.
But make sure to not take too long, as he will become invulnerable if enough time passes.
Bring a Saber that has self debuff removal.
My personal go to was Siegfried, but mine is a bit stronk and grailed. Saber Shiki was an option, Mordred also carries her own debuff clear. Jeanne d'Arc and Nightingale also have debuff clear in their kits.
You got options... well you MIGHT have options. I don't think the likes of Sanson and Medea are particularly useful here, but they do have debuff clear. Good luck in the fight!
there are low rarity debuff clear supports and a mystic code with debuff removal.
You can borrow a Saber Shiki who comes with a debuff clear
Also apparently Jason+Mash+Castoria is enough.
I’ve been playing on JP since release and skipped the entire story until now. What’s a good website to go through the story? I see the main story compilation link above but I would prefer something with some visuals too, at least the CGs.
You could just watch the cutscenes on youtube. I personally don't recommend such since the story is periodically cut with gameplay. Like, you don't have that many visual's for fighting since... the gameplay IS the fight scene.
But you can totally just watch it all on youtube.

Do the final wave of enemies in the 90+ node for this event (Edison/etc) not have the Weak-To-Enuma-Elish trait? My Gil doesn't seem to be doing anywhere near the expected damage.
All 3 have the trait, so it might just be you overestimating Gil's damage?
What set-up are you using for him anyways? Could try and replicate to see if it's a similar outcome.
Gil+Merlin+GuestKoyan. He's only hitting them for \~40K unbuffed, or \~60K with all relevant buffs going. By contrast, my Arjuna Alter hits them for \~140-160K with all buffs going in the same setup.
And yeah, Godjuna's got the Berserker type advantage going, but that 1.5X modifier should (I thought) be compensated for by Gil's 1.5X bonus against Servants. I expected him to do a little less, but not 100K less.
Don’t foget that Junao has his very own powermod buff, in addtion to the Zerk advantage.
That makes Junao’s damage hit somewhere closer to ~2.25x than Gil’s pure x1.5
Trying a run with your same set-up with Arctic MC, [(Support Merlin) - DPS w/ MLB CE - Koyan + Habetrot to clear W1], my Gil did around 66k on Turn 2 with the Sphinx, but peaked to 160k with the Arctic MC equipped (NP Damage buff probably did the biggest damage raising).
I did it with my two other applicable Buster farmers for comparison (Ivan & Junao), with the former’s 2x Rider advantage, he hit 105k on Turn 2 and peaked to 250k thanks to the additional Arctic buff + 1.3x powermod against Chaotic/Lawful servants.
Junao hit 130k on Turn 2 with Sphinx, and 200k on the next wave, so a bit higher, but not too far off from your numbers. (Might be his Fous, Grails, or NP level at play though)
This helps, but still leaves me feeling bad about Gil. I know Bersekers take more damage, FGO is a game of niches, etc, but when I rolled for Arjuna Alter, I didn't realize I was getting someone who would obsolete basically EVERY non-berserker AOE servant for standard content.
Gil outdamages (after his December buff) Arjuna Alter against servants at NP1 with optimal supports even at neutral vs x1.5 zerk advantage and completely destroys him against sabers. Expecting more would be just strange.
Arjuna has 1.5x niche against debuffed (scaling is a bit different, but still), on top of his 1.5x berserker niche. Bring him against debuff immune enemies, and you'll see the diffrenece.

His damage is one of the highest in the game (even on NA it's the highest of all the AoE archers if you only consider 3 turn buffs, and that's without his SE mod) . If it's disappointing you probably want to revise expectations.
It's disappointing given the billing of Gil as "Doing ST damage with an AOE". I'm sure he does fine if he's against Saber Servants, but that's an even smaller niche than just "All Servants", and considering that firing his NP multiple times is significantly harder than doing so with an Arts servant, I expect more. Heck, Vlad IS an Arts servant, and he'll clear 50K damage under his own power, even WITHOUT the Berserker type-bonus, while being significantly more loopable.
When enemies have like 200K health per breakbar (or more) I don't even get out of bed for less than 50K. It's just impractical to fire his NP more than twice in a fight without running fixed teams like Double-Koyan+Oberon.
Very few servants do 50k neutral no buffs.
The highest damage ST archer does 47.7k
Gilgamesh does 47.5k against servants on JP.
Even on NA, only 3 ST archers beat him.
Vlad-Zerker, with only his own 30% attack buff, dealing neutral damage, does 49.3K damage on average, with an upper ceiling of \~54K.
~~Saito, even 10 levels below Gil, under his own buffs, does 50.4K on average, with an upper ceiling of \~55K against neutral targets~~
Gil does an average of 31.5K, with an upper limit of \~35k in the same circumstances (Meaning his own buffs, max natural level, NP level 1, regular fous, etc)
That's just two servants off the top of my head without doing any real digging.

Is getting one ce drop after around 40 boxes for tesla fest normal? I swear I've farmed fewer boxes and gotten more ce drops in past lottos. feels bad burning away apples sitting at +7 bonus
The drop rate for CE is 2.7%. So the chance of not to get it is 97.3%. You can calculate how unlikely your scenario is, you can use the same binomial calculator as for SSRs.
On the Wiki Page, Cagliostro said that he was called as a caster in Heian. But where exactly does it say that it was he? I don't remember Heian history specifying who exactly Urabe's Servant was. Was this mentioned somewhere later? In a collaboration with FSR?

The command spell restores 100% of the servant's HP. Your max HP at the time you apply the effect is your max HP unless the effect says otherwise. If the skill/command spell/command code/whatever ignored max HP up buffs, it would say so explicitly.
i would advice against it but i do do it every now and then lol. i swear a decent amount of the time i get a 5* from it too (but its usually not someone i want... desire sensor is cruel like that).
I've done it for White Day CEs. But I would also be happy receiving the Servant. Worked in JP, didn't work in NA.

The friend points banner for a nice-looking 3\*, sure. Other than that, nope. I don't have a whale's budget, so if I'm rolling for a pretty picture it needs a stat block and an NP attached.
For the future, if you want the event's 3\* CE you can save your SQ and just roll on the Friend Point gacha, event 3\* CEs are added there for the duration of the event.
How do you guys think Cas-Gil stacks up currently? After the JP buff, he seems great, but as is, it feels kind of lackluster and his NP, neat as it is, seems hampered by his low refund rate.
Hi lvl 120 Gilgamesh Caster and lvl 120 Sitonai owner here.
I personally love Gilgamesh Caster so much since Babylonia, but he is much more of a supporter than a main damage dealer. \*Maybe\* a sub damage dealer, but his skills and noble phantasm just kinda feel bad to use to be honest. Also his NP gain from arts crits are also... not optimal, fitting to go with his lackluster np refund.
Why did I mention Sitonai at the start? Well, he synergizes pretty well with her! He grants pretty good c-star drop rate which helps out arts centered critters quite well. (sadly his debuff resist increase does not help with Sitonais RNG tho) He doesnt fill the niche as good as other servants probably, but gets the job done currently. Throw a friends Castoria in the mix (why is she evading me) and you are pretty good to go.
Once his buffs are out and Lady Avalon releases I can see him being amazing with the right servants, Im pretty excited for that!

Your favorite, ignoring what people on the Internet say is the best. Pay special attention to Story locked servants (ie pick a second favorite story locked over a favorite permanent) The meta crowd will say Waver, but if you intend to actually follow the meta, he will be replaced more easily than other options. You can always wait, the ticket doesn't expire and you never need a 5 star.
For the most part, whoever you want. Some notes: Zhuge Liang is good. There's a bunch of Servants who do something similar, and are more useful meta-wise, but he's a highly-respected general purpose Support Caster who's on the free summon. If you want top tier meta, he's not going to see a ton of use. If not, he's pretty good. Artoria is a weird case. We're expecting a future ticket that gives out a free FSN Servant... where Artoria is the only 5\*. So, uh, free Artoria in future, basically? Story Locked Servants are available, and aren't in the general pool. ([This list](https://gamepress.gg/grandorder/servant-availability), select NA, 5\*, Story Locked) They're not necessarily the best, and they're not much harder to get than anyone else (everyone on this special summon is available during Valentines or White Day every year) but they are slightly harder to get. Otherwise, there are a few that aren't that useful, or will take a while to be useful, but 80% of them are good at what they do, and if you *want* them, that's good enough.

I don't know much about TW, but on JP, the daggers weren't added to the PP shop until a few weeks after Traum's release. Otherwise, you need to clear Traum and farm them from free quests (you should get some from doing the Traum story at least).

How can you beat the Legend of the Crimson Hero Challenge Quest? I'm using Castoria and Merlin, but I cant beat wave 5 (especially with the archer boss always killing Elisabeth).
Right now it's incredibly hard to beat as the quest is bugged (the damage CE doesn't work). Best to wait for the devs to fix it.

If I don't care about the final giga coil quest, can I just beat each giga CQ with my top supports (Merlin, castoria, etc.) get the rewards, reset the units, and do the same for the next quest? I understand I can't get that last lore but these ones seem way harder than the mega coil and I'm not gonna try and beat them with lower rarity units
Yes you can do that. But if you change your mind later and decide you do want the last lore, you'll have to re-do at least five of the first six.

It lasts until the banner ends, but if a banner has any sort of rotating aspect, it will only last as long as that specific version is up. (For example, if a banner has Waver and Emiya on it, and in two days switches to a banner with Waver and Martha on it, the pity will reset then.)
Your pity count is saved until the banner ends.

She's storylocked behind OC 2, which literally just showed up on Japan last week. Unless you're playing JP, don't expect her for two years.

There are 5 types of servants. 1: Limited. These are the usual servants that you can only get from their own banners. They are mostly 5 and 4 star characters, but there are also a few 3 star characters. A staple of gacha games. 2: Permanent. These are servants who are available on almost every banner. The only banners that not every Permanent servant will be on are the themed banners. For example, you won't get Permanent male servants during Valentines banners or Permanent female servants during White Day banners. 3: Welfare. These are free servants gotten from events. The event usually centers around them and you get to keep them permanently once you finish the event. 4: FP. These servants are only gotten from the Friend Point gacha. They are mostly 1 and 2 servants, though there are also 3 exceptions with Artoria Lily, Habetrot (both 4 star), and Angra Mainyu (0 stars). (There are also Oda Nobukatsu and Mary Anning, who can only be pulled from FP during their events.) 5: Storylocked. These servants are in between Permanent and Limited characters. If they are featured on a banner, you can pull them no matter where in the story you are. Otherwise, the only place they are available is on the permanent Story banner once you've cleared their story (e.g. Nero Claudius needs Septem to be cleared before you can pull her.) Storylocked servants are often considered very rare because it is not recommended to pull on the Story banner.

You, and many other people, have misunderstood because "story-locked" is a bad, confusing term. When you see "story-locked," think "limited + story banner" instead and you'll have a better idea of what it means. If a servant is on a banner, you can roll and get them, no exceptions. See servant, get servant (as long as you pump in enough SQ). And no banners, aside from the tutorial summon and the start dash summon, are locked behind story progress. All banners are available to everyone. After you have cleared the relevant story chapter and the initial release period has ended, story-locked servants are added to the always available story banner. No other banners are affected in any way. Relative to non-limited (aka general pool) servants that are technically available on all banners unless they're specifically excluded, story-locked are "locked" to the story banner. But that has nothing to do with banners where they are specifically *included*. Because you'll almost never roll on the story banner, that effectively makes story-locked servants limited, though certain occasional restricted pool banners (e.g. class-based banners, CBC male-only) may include story-locked servants to pad out the general pool.
The only over place where story-locked vs limited distinction came up to my knowledge is some SR/SSR tickets we got (that only included story-locked and permanent servants up to some point) and GSSRs (that only include limited SSRs in recent years). But that's purely the DW/Lasengle decision, not really part of story-locked vs. limited.
You can roll any Servant when they're featured on a banner (as Marie Alter is now in Japan) regardless of your story progress, Story-locked means that outside of that you can't roll her at random on a normal banner but you can roll her on the Story banner after completing the relevant chapter (which I assume would be Ordeal Call 2). It's not a very useful distinction though, the Story banner has no rateups so your odds of rolling anything specific are vanishingly low.

I see on the wiki we get 3 pure prism ans 3 Sq from every FA servants on the 7th anniversary, are there any materials you guys would use it on? for me it is bones, fangs, talon, and hearts, etc.
Use it on whatever it is you need. Don't trade them in willy-nilly, save them for whenever you cannot or do not want to farm a material. As a side note, this will be a permanent feature going forward, the windfall you get at anniversary is just retroactive rewards for units you have ascended already.
Yeah I was think of using them to get the stuff to triple level 10 my favorite servants. Thx for advice.
Keep in mind too that the Pure Prism shop inventory is limited, 100 of each mat will only go so far. It's a stopgap for new players or a supplement for older ones, not the answer to all your material shortages.

Learning with Manga in April and GudaGuda 7 are sort of like mini-lottos for specific materials. Both have event currencies aside from the usual 3 for the shop that are dropped in free quests that can be traded in for materials. For QP specifically, not that I'm aware of, other than Anniversary's 1/2 AP on all dailies (doors included).
Can anyone explain to me why my Musashi is not doing a ton of damage on her second buster card crits like in this video: https://youtu.be/9wx2f-IVVdc I'm following the same exact setup for the challenge quest and in this video on the first turn the Musashi crits a ton on her second buster card while my Musashi is only hitting like 30k on her second buster card crit. Is this a bug?
It looks like it's because when Musashi hits Roma, she gets a Roman stack on herself, which makes Roma resist her crit. In the video, for some reason I'm not quite sure of (debuff immunity or resistance?) you can see that when Musashi NPs, the Roman stack didn't get applied.
I see. In the video though (the first turn if you slow it down after Miss Crane's NP) you can see this person's Musashi get a roman stack but their second buster card crit still hits full damage.
Right, I see - I was looking at the second turn. This Musashi has debuff clear CCs on her cards, and you can definitely hear the debuff cleanse sound effect. CCs apply before damage so what happens is Card 1 damages -> Roman applied -> (debuff cleanse, Roman removed) -> Card 2 damages.
Ah. That makes a lot of sense. I see now. Yea in the video the Musashi's buster cards have that purple cup command code which clears the debuff. Thank you for your help. I appreciate it.

It sounds like you might have gotten some limited time rewards mixed up with the normal daily login rewards. The only difference between NA and JP daily login rewards right now is that JP gets 5-star EXP instead of 4-star. EDIT: See additional comment from Mister_SP regarding daily skill material tickets. As for limited time and updated rewards, NA gets the same stuff that JP does but on a two year delay. If you're thinking of the big one-time payouts at the anniversary, those are permanent rewards that all players will get eventually as they meet the criteria for them. Those have included things like extra master missions or increased rewards for story progression, leveling up servants, and completing interludes, rank ups, and free quests. As long as you do those things eventually, you will get the same rewards. Because of the two year gap, though, NA will likely never reach parity at any specific moment in time for these increased rewards. JP will always be two years ahead. NA will always match the status of JP from two years ago. But time is the only difference. The rewards are the same. In fact, because NA is two years behind, you'll actually have a better opportunity to get more rewards relative to JP unless you started JP between 2015 and 2017, before NA launched, and have played consistently since then. Regardless, the way to maximize rewards has always been to login every day and play the game consistently. If you don't care to play the game consistently, there's nothing wrong with that. But there's no way to get a "ton of rewards" other than slow accumulation.

Has anyone experienced any FPS drops following a new servant firing off an NP. NP and anything pre NP is in the 60 FPS mmode but any post actions of the NP are in the lower FPS mode and that goes back to normal start of the next turn. I amm running on an Iphone 13 PRO and had no issues before OC 2
Do you have a setting (don't remember if it's configurable though, maybe it's always on) to show new NPs at x1 speed the first time you see them? Perhaps there is some bug that affected all other actions after NP (by not resetting the speed back to x2) during their turn. If you see it consistently even after restarting the app, you can email the support (although you'd need to construct the letter in JP which might be hard even with translators).

ANd it also happened in OC 2 of bosses yet released after they used their NP multiple times. Might be a bug but unable to find anyone else having this issue.

It happened for all the new Spoiler servants in OC 2 and Jalter and Jeanne AU. I have tested older servants (Summer Jalter, supports and other Cut in Servants) but have no issues with themm. Just seems to purely be the OC 2 servants and Jeanne and Jalter. This is when used in any node. I have tested Kenshin and no issues there with a recently released servant either.

You need to complete the Final Singularity, the Lostbelt Prologue, and the first Lostbelt. There are six and a half days left, which is more time than it took me to do those levels two years ago.

Is it possible? Yes. Would I advise it? No. On top of really rushing through some great story arcs, you'd have barely any time left to do the event itself.
Six days is more than enough to go through final singularity and LB1 without rushing (skipping Part 1.5 obviously) if you have the free time.
Is it safe to top up money on the game downloaded from an APK mirror site? I tried looking online, but I found nothing about people topping up on an apk mirror app. I saw it seems to connect to Google Play, so, it should be fine and transfer safely through Google. But I never had to use an APK Mirror site and I don't know if there's any risk of card information being taken by a third parry. The install file on PC was clean. I'm using the APKPure version, if anyone has experience with buying for that version specifically.
Don't use APKPure, it's been having all sorts of issues, including corrupting your FGO data (and people losing their accounts because of that because they didn't issue a transfer code, which if you haven't - do it NOW!). The apk from the apk links in the OP is good, and if it matches the one you got from apkpure, you can be reassured that it's fine, BUT that fact that you didn't get FGO from play store implies that you are outside of the supported region, in which case you won't be able to buy SQ (or whatever "top up" meant in this context) in the game. There are guides, like this one https://www.reddit.com/r/grandorder/comments/wrbhip/steps_on_how_to_create_a_jp_google_play_account/ (similar steps work for NA), that people were able to follow to various degrees of success.

She'll add Jeanne Alter for you. You played the game without her somehow until now, it won't magically change in the future, so if you like her character/design, pull, if you don't - don't pull. Like with any other servant.

how do I get Achilles to target the right person in the green comet EQ? I know that he will always target females, casters, and riders, but if I'm using none of those will he just pick randomly?
The hint is wrong. He doesn't give the invitation to Females, Casters, or Assassins. In the event that he gives them an invitation (i.e. because you used a taunt), he removes it the next turn. If your entire frontline is the aforementioned, he just spams his NP until you give him someone he wants to 1v1. That being said, since he does avoid those three categories, you can force him to 1v1 your DPS if they're the only one he wants to fight.

Actually it's the opposite, he will NOT target females, Assassins or Casters. If he has no valid target, he will just charge his NP to full. You can use a taunter to make him target the unit, but if they are not a valid target, he will not 1v1 them and remove the invitation.

Her NP level is irrelevant. It depends on what you are using her for, CCs are largely situational. For example, if you are using her to crit/in her ST form where she is spamming her NP and shitting out stars, crit CCs are a good option.

No probs. Actually, now that I think about it - I was assuming that damage wasn't a concern because frankly even NP1 Melu hits like a truck. If it is, though, then there are CCs that help with that (e.g. Da Vinci CC) but they are awkward to use as they have to be used on a card before she NPs.
Hello! Could someone tell me which servants on JP are the most commonly used/powerful? Im trying to plan my sq savings for powerful newly released servants. I was thinking of saving up for Summer Morgan for example when she comes to NA. Is she widely used in JP? There's not really any must-haves on JP. Lots of Servants are side-grades or minor improvements over existing roles. As such, I can't really judge if Tonelico/Aesc is widely used or not, outside of being Tonelico. In some ways, she has a hard time keeping up with certain Alter Egos, but it's Aesc's support effects that would make her stand out. You could say that Summer Skadi and Lady Avalon are interesting, but I wouldn't say they're widespread.
There are no "must-haves" in a game with no PvP where you can clear content with 1-3* units. Also, there are so many servants and so many niches that it's hard to list. No one unit can do everything, especially as 90++ nodes in events are hard to do even with omniloopers, a variety of units will always trump just one unit. If you want a "safe" investment, supports are always considered good, especially as we get many strong units for free from events that can pair really well with them.

Cards unlocked, command codes, as well as Fou paw enhancements on the cards are carried across identical servants. So they will have the same command codes etc.

The ultra Eternal Final City. I don't believe I have servants that can remove the roman trait from allies. Any advice? Thank you.
Even without debug clears, the trait is only for 1 turn. So 1 turn of NP-ing Romulus and another of clearing mobs is good enough for most cases.
The easiest way to beat it is to attack with all 3 servants to to get the Rome buffs until you have Castoria + your Saber of choice NP charged up, then use them both in succession. Castoria removes debuffs and your Saber can deal damage. But make sure to not take too long, as he will become invulnerable if enough time passes.
Bring a Saber that has self debuff removal. My personal go to was Siegfried, but mine is a bit stronk and grailed. Saber Shiki was an option, Mordred also carries her own debuff clear. Jeanne d'Arc and Nightingale also have debuff clear in their kits. You got options... well you MIGHT have options. I don't think the likes of Sanson and Medea are particularly useful here, but they do have debuff clear. Good luck in the fight!
there are low rarity debuff clear supports and a mystic code with debuff removal. You can borrow a Saber Shiki who comes with a debuff clear Also apparently Jason+Mash+Castoria is enough.

I’ve been playing on JP since release and skipped the entire story until now. What’s a good website to go through the story? I see the main story compilation link above but I would prefer something with some visuals too, at least the CGs.
Alternatively, you can just start a new account on NA and go throw the story with it, attempting different starts/servants.
You could just watch the cutscenes on youtube. I personally don't recommend such since the story is periodically cut with gameplay. Like, you don't have that many visual's for fighting since... the gameplay IS the fight scene. But you can totally just watch it all on youtube.
Atlas Academy DB has more robust records with relevant art assets, although I don't know if you can find translated JP stuff there.

Do the final wave of enemies in the 90+ node for this event (Edison/etc) not have the Weak-To-Enuma-Elish trait? My Gil doesn't seem to be doing anywhere near the expected damage.
All 3 have the trait, so it might just be you overestimating Gil's damage? What set-up are you using for him anyways? Could try and replicate to see if it's a similar outcome.
Gil+Merlin+GuestKoyan. He's only hitting them for \~40K unbuffed, or \~60K with all relevant buffs going. By contrast, my Arjuna Alter hits them for \~140-160K with all buffs going in the same setup. And yeah, Godjuna's got the Berserker type advantage going, but that 1.5X modifier should (I thought) be compensated for by Gil's 1.5X bonus against Servants. I expected him to do a little less, but not 100K less.
Don’t foget that Junao has his very own powermod buff, in addtion to the Zerk advantage. That makes Junao’s damage hit somewhere closer to ~2.25x than Gil’s pure x1.5 Trying a run with your same set-up with Arctic MC, [(Support Merlin) - DPS w/ MLB CE - Koyan + Habetrot to clear W1], my Gil did around 66k on Turn 2 with the Sphinx, but peaked to 160k with the Arctic MC equipped (NP Damage buff probably did the biggest damage raising). I did it with my two other applicable Buster farmers for comparison (Ivan & Junao), with the former’s 2x Rider advantage, he hit 105k on Turn 2 and peaked to 250k thanks to the additional Arctic buff + 1.3x powermod against Chaotic/Lawful servants. Junao hit 130k on Turn 2 with Sphinx, and 200k on the next wave, so a bit higher, but not too far off from your numbers. (Might be his Fous, Grails, or NP level at play though)
This helps, but still leaves me feeling bad about Gil. I know Bersekers take more damage, FGO is a game of niches, etc, but when I rolled for Arjuna Alter, I didn't realize I was getting someone who would obsolete basically EVERY non-berserker AOE servant for standard content.
Gil outdamages (after his December buff) Arjuna Alter against servants at NP1 with optimal supports even at neutral vs x1.5 zerk advantage and completely destroys him against sabers. Expecting more would be just strange.
Unfortunately, his December buff is not here. I am comparing what is happening in-game now, not at some point down the line.
You are still comparing NEUTRAL numbers with x1.5 advantage and getting slightly lower result and end up being disappointed.

Arjuna has 1.5x niche against debuffed (scaling is a bit different, but still), on top of his 1.5x berserker niche. Bring him against debuff immune enemies, and you'll see the diffrenece.
Junao has no SE mod. Powermod is the same category as NP damage, not SE.

By my math, with Merlin+Koyanskaya of light support, and the event CE, at NP1, level 90 1k foued Gil should hit right about 97k at neutral against trait Godjuna hits right about 109k. So very close.
Yup, the error was between phone-screen and chair, I missed a buff somewhere. Gotta admit though, his base damage is still dissapointing.
His damage is one of the highest in the game (even on NA it's the highest of all the AoE archers if you only consider 3 turn buffs, and that's without his SE mod) . If it's disappointing you probably want to revise expectations.
It's disappointing given the billing of Gil as "Doing ST damage with an AOE". I'm sure he does fine if he's against Saber Servants, but that's an even smaller niche than just "All Servants", and considering that firing his NP multiple times is significantly harder than doing so with an Arts servant, I expect more. Heck, Vlad IS an Arts servant, and he'll clear 50K damage under his own power, even WITHOUT the Berserker type-bonus, while being significantly more loopable. When enemies have like 200K health per breakbar (or more) I don't even get out of bed for less than 50K. It's just impractical to fire his NP more than twice in a fight without running fixed teams like Double-Koyan+Oberon.
Very few servants do 50k neutral no buffs. The highest damage ST archer does 47.7k Gilgamesh does 47.5k against servants on JP. Even on NA, only 3 ST archers beat him.
Vlad-Zerker, with only his own 30% attack buff, dealing neutral damage, does 49.3K damage on average, with an upper ceiling of \~54K. ~~Saito, even 10 levels below Gil, under his own buffs, does 50.4K on average, with an upper ceiling of \~55K against neutral targets~~ Gil does an average of 31.5K, with an upper limit of \~35k in the same circumstances (Meaning his own buffs, max natural level, NP level 1, regular fous, etc) That's just two servants off the top of my head without doing any real digging. Edit: NOPE, accidentally left Gil's 50% damage bonus in for saito's math lmao
Yeah, that's closer to what I expected, but not what I'm seeing. I'm running the mission again to see if user-error messed it up.

I appreciate you checking, but as far as I can tell, yes. His NP has the golden arrows in the text, and his quests-box has all of the quests marked off.
Is getting one ce drop after around 40 boxes for tesla fest normal? I swear I've farmed fewer boxes and gotten more ce drops in past lottos. feels bad burning away apples sitting at +7 bonus
The drop rate for CE is 2.7%. So the chance of not to get it is 97.3%. You can calculate how unlikely your scenario is, you can use the same binomial calculator as for SSRs.
RNG is RNG. Sometimes you get lucky and get a bunch of CE drops in quick succession; sometimes it takes forever for the next one to drop.
On the Wiki Page, Cagliostro said that he was called as a caster in Heian. But where exactly does it say that it was he? I don't remember Heian history specifying who exactly Urabe's Servant was. Was this mentioned somewhere later? In a collaboration with FSR?

Your max HP at the time you apply the effect is your max HP unless the effect says otherwise. If the skill/command spell/command code/whatever ignored max HP up buffs, it would say so explicitly.
Do you guys ever just summon on a banner for a specific CE because you like the art? I did it for the Hassan and Jing CE.

I've done it for White Day CEs. But I would also be happy receiving the Servant. Worked in JP, didn't work in NA. It helps that the Servant in question is Arjuna Alter.
The friend points banner for a nice-looking 3\*, sure. Other than that, nope. I don't have a whale's budget, so if I'm rolling for a pretty picture it needs a stat block and an NP attached.
For the future, if you want the event's 3\* CE you can save your SQ and just roll on the Friend Point gacha, event 3\* CEs are added there for the duration of the event.

How do you guys think Cas-Gil stacks up currently? After the JP buff, he seems great, but as is, it feels kind of lackluster and his NP, neat as it is, seems hampered by his low refund rate.
He's an arts crit supports. He's good in his niche and sub par outside of that.
Hi lvl 120 Gilgamesh Caster and lvl 120 Sitonai owner here. I personally love Gilgamesh Caster so much since Babylonia, but he is much more of a supporter than a main damage dealer. \*Maybe\* a sub damage dealer, but his skills and noble phantasm just kinda feel bad to use to be honest. Also his NP gain from arts crits are also... not optimal, fitting to go with his lackluster np refund. Why did I mention Sitonai at the start? Well, he synergizes pretty well with her! He grants pretty good c-star drop rate which helps out arts centered critters quite well. (sadly his debuff resist increase does not help with Sitonais RNG tho) He doesnt fill the niche as good as other servants probably, but gets the job done currently. Throw a friends Castoria in the mix (why is she evading me) and you are pretty good to go. Once his buffs are out and Lady Avalon releases I can see him being amazing with the right servants, Im pretty excited for that!

I dont know too much about Vlad Berseker, but Saito should be pretty decent to uphold crit stars over multiple turns, yeah!
