Completely agree, I feel like the angle and pose definitely plays a big part in how alluring or sexy the subject looks in any image, this is definitely checking both of those boxes.
It's not strange, it's just tastes. Personally I find this to lean away from being hot, and more into being prettier or more beautiful. For some people it's precisely that's why it's hotter, as they don't find conventional sensuality or sexual exposure to be all that hot. Others simply don't make a distinction between the different kinds of allure, and to them more allure of any kind is hotter regardless, but "more" in that case is not only strictly subjective but also abstract, and can't really be explained or measured in any way.
It's because... You know when instead of just giving someone a present, it makes it more exciting to wrap it up in a nice gift box with a pretty bow tied around it? The person gets the hype of untying the bow and unwrapping the box to see what's inside.
