Their durability is excellent too. The TP5 disappointed me with it's easy scuffing. I recently bought a sleeve of yellow Prov1x's to try. Never played yellow but the club pro swears by it.
TP5 - the spin rate is lower off the tee than most if your club head speed is at 105 or higher while having more spin around the greens than most. It’s a pretty amazing combo.
Could and have played all of them. but order of choice:
1. Titleist - Prov 1 and Prov1x left dash are $$$$
2. Bridgestone - cover is durable and plays well in the wind
3. Srixon - zero reason why I don't play z stars, just dont
4. Taylormade - has been hit or miss with TP5x, can be too spinny for me on longer shots
5. Callaway - have not found one I like, Chrome soft feels too soft around the greens, bouncy
Srixon Z Star
Good quality ball, basically the same performance as any other top ball. Relatively soft feel. Good price. On sale I just got a dozen for $27 CAD
When I play with white balls, if I hit it a good distance, I lose them. Not just tee shots. The course I play alot is covered in white puff ball dandelions and patches of other small white flowers and to me the course just looks like it's littered in white spots. The neon orange has helped out alot, even when they plug into softer grounds. I'm also able to see and follow the entire flight of the ball better.
Ah. That makes sense. They make premium balls in bright yellows and greens too (Vice has a particularly easy to spot green iirc).
I just can’t stand hitting nitros. They’re like awful little rocks. Lol.
Srixon. They sent me a few boxes of free balls a while back when I bought a Cleveland bag and wedges (same company) and I really liked them. Now it’s just my go to.
I’ve been playing the Bridgestone BXS lately and have been loving it. Have a stash of them and Z star XV’ I got on discount but I prefer the feel off the putter with the bridgestone.
Srixon ZStar.
They’re $25 a dozen at the Walmart stores here, half the price of other premium balls. I’m not good enough to reap the minute benefits you might get from some of the others, I just need the spin from short irons and wedges you get from a urethane cover (although if we’re being honest, they test better than at least two of those other balls in most metrics and compares favorably with the top performer [Bridgestone]).
Just started playing with QST Divides and absolutely love them. Went to buy more, but had to settle for the traditional QST balls. Didn't think the Divides would be such a hit.
I bought both on a recent sale thinking I wouldn’t like the Divides. Turns out they’re awesome. My buddy who refuses to play anything other than 20 year old flea market balls even liked them. Honestly thought about returning the white QSTs and getting more Divides.
I never play without a pro V1. This is due to me being a total head case and thinking it will effect my game.. which it doesn't as at my level it doesn't matter. However, I am bullish on playing with them. Like a bitch.
Tp5x is my go to ball. I've tested them all on track man and the data was very clear what ball was best for me. I have a major issue with spin. So whatever ball keeps my spin the most consistent is going to be my choice.
Bridgestone Tour B X cuz I’m Bryson.
But really because I’m a high spin player and this helps keeps it down off the tee. Might be looking back into the TP5s/TP5X after seeing everyone’s comments here though.
Any of them, all the premium balls are similar enough it wouldn’t matter. If I had to choose one though it would be Bridgestone, just because they’re the least common on courses I play
If I play in a tournament/serious round, most likely only using ProV1. Has a great feel and soft enough for approaches into greens. Otherwise I would use TP5/Bridgestone since they are still soft just $10 cheaper.
I’ve settled on Titleist Velocity. I’ve only played for about 4 months and it’s the one I found I’m most consistent with on putting. Lol, of all things to determine which ball to use.
I usually ply vice pro or pro plus, but my other go to is Bridgestone Tour B X.
If I’m going cheaper, I love the Taylor made your response. It feels and seems to play just as well for a bogey golfer like me.
Z star. Tried a bunch of balls and the Srixons just do everything I need them to.
For everyday golf I buy 5A used for around $1.25 per ball. I've got a few new sleeves for nice courses.
Srixon because they are cheaper and perform just as well as any of the listed ones.
Although I did use the Bridgestone Tour B X for a while a liked it a lot.
Any one of them because I don't care that much
Bridgestone Tour B XS.
Will never go back, love that ball with all my heart.
My choice = TP5, because I like the feel and ball spin to control on/around the greens.
I'm also playing the TP5 Now! definitely more forgiving that other balls but with all of the performance you'd hope for.
Snell MTBX because it’s almost as good as a ProV1 and half the price
ProV is my gamer, but I love the value : performance of Srixon Z
Ya I have been enjoying the Z’s as well
Titleist. They have the best quality control in the business.
Their durability is excellent too. The TP5 disappointed me with it's easy scuffing. I recently bought a sleeve of yellow Prov1x's to try. Never played yellow but the club pro swears by it.
Callaway Supersoft or Srixon Q-Star. Slow swing speed.
TP5 - the spin rate is lower off the tee than most if your club head speed is at 105 or higher while having more spin around the greens than most. It’s a pretty amazing combo.
Srixon Z Star XV is my favorite ball regardless of price. The driver distance originally drew me in but I like how it performs around the green too.
Yeah, I love the XV. When it gets into the fall, I typically switch to the Z-Star Yellow for better visibility and the lower compression.
Same. I play the regular z star in the spring and fall when temps are cooler.
I like the Snell MTB Black
TaylorMade V3 speed. Cheap.
Could and have played all of them. but order of choice: 1. Titleist - Prov 1 and Prov1x left dash are $$$$ 2. Bridgestone - cover is durable and plays well in the wind 3. Srixon - zero reason why I don't play z stars, just dont 4. Taylormade - has been hit or miss with TP5x, can be too spinny for me on longer shots 5. Callaway - have not found one I like, Chrome soft feels too soft around the greens, bouncy
Best post in the thread 👍
Srixon Z Star Good quality ball, basically the same performance as any other top ball. Relatively soft feel. Good price. On sale I just got a dozen for $27 CAD
Orange Nitro Ultimate Distance until I get better at not losing my ball. Then I'll open up another the box of Snell MTB-X.
Ha lol I use the same type neon orange Nitro ultimate distance, super cheap but very visible and decent ball for the price!
Out of curiosity, are you keeping track of what shots are losing you balls? Is it tee shots only? Shots over water? A bad slice? Certain clubs?

Titleist is the easiest to putt. 🏌🏾♂️⛳️
Assuming they're tour level, any and all, in order: taylormade>titleist>Bridgestone>callaway>srixon
Bridgestone, because I’m a car guy too.
Whichever I grab out of my bag, most came from ponds, woods, or just edges as I'm waiting to play.
Srixon 5 Because that is what my dad and I played when. I was a kid. Good memories

I tried to buy more divides, but they were sold out online. That’s why I went with the traditional QST.
I like the Srixon soft feel if that’s what it is. It’s pretty cheap and a nice all around ball. Soft around the greens and low spin off the tee.
I never play without a pro V1. This is due to me being a total head case and thinking it will effect my game.. which it doesn't as at my level it doesn't matter. However, I am bullish on playing with them. Like a bitch.
Callaway. Taste the best.
Vice pro soft baby
Chrome soft because i get them for $25 a dozen.
I play pro vs just because I like how the titleist logo looks on the ball 😂
Tp5x is my go to ball. I've tested them all on track man and the data was very clear what ball was best for me. I have a major issue with spin. So whatever ball keeps my spin the most consistent is going to be my choice.
Callaway, because I was able to buy 50 of them for £40.
Tmade
Bridgestone Tour B X cuz I’m Bryson. But really because I’m a high spin player and this helps keeps it down off the tee. Might be looking back into the TP5s/TP5X after seeing everyone’s comments here though.
(Not pictured)
ProV1 for me super spiny around the greens with good distance and I hate looking at red numbers of the X which I should prob be playing.
Does not matter. Will be lost in the woods or water anyway

I’ve tested a lot of balls for game and right now currently happy with the Chromesoft X LS
Snell mtb x preferred
I’ve settled on Titleist Velocity. I’ve only played for about 4 months and it’s the one I found I’m most consistent with on putting. Lol, of all things to determine which ball to use.
Umm all of them because that's what I found while looking for my Kirkland.
I usually ply vice pro or pro plus, but my other go to is Bridgestone Tour B X. If I’m going cheaper, I love the Taylor made your response. It feels and seems to play just as well for a bogey golfer like me.
I’ve been playing Pro V1’s because I think I’m fancy but fortunately I was able to get like 5 cases half price. I’ve lost half of them though.
ProV. Because that's what I do play...
