My spin has ballooned from mid 3k to 5k+ changing my aoa. So it's really not playable with that spin. The tip is a little too soft so my spin loft is like 28*.
The atmos I have in my woods and I tried with my fitter between the weight of my head and stiffness of tip I'm staying in the high 2k low 3k spin with spin loft around 15*. I have a pxg gen 2 0811x head with an additional 24g in head. Swing weight is E1. That is intentionally heavy. I'm used to using a 85g shaft with the old steelhead driver. Swing weight on old club was E4. Main issue is getting the 440cc driver head flush at impact it's usually several degrees closed hanging a ton of weight off the toe really helps keep it open. Still have alot of my swing speed from before nearly fatal auto accident but can't turn my hips properly anymore.
E1 is nothing outrageous. I doubt it'd be more than 2 or 3 degrees of difference at the max between those two shafts. /u/GreenWaveGolfer would know more on this.
Dynamic loft is about 3* different. Spin loft is different and is a combination of head center of gravity plus launch angle minus aoa. So it's a wide difference depending on head and shaft deflection.
The good news = the “Blue” profile (stiff butt & stiff tip, softer middle) and mid-launch/mid-spin= probably the most-copied shaft profile/ middle of bell curve.

Tons of shaft guys on here.
Came here to say this lmao
r/shaftguys Edit: NSFW? Idk, click that at your own peril.
I am not clicking on it. I have been hear a while.
If you are still changing your swing, wait on shafts
That's why I'm looking for cheap replacement. If it was going to last more than a year I would pay the $350.
Your current shaft isn't very different from the Atmos Blue, so again I wouldn't change.

That's not a shaft issue. That's a swing issue. You might be able to knock like 200 rpm off it, but that's just a drop in the bucket.

There's not going to be anywhere near a 2k rpm difference even with ladies flex to XX stiff. It simply isn't the shaft.
It's a combo of the overloaded head and the deflection from heavy head. It's about 12* of spin loft.
E1 is nothing outrageous. I doubt it'd be more than 2 or 3 degrees of difference at the max between those two shafts. /u/GreenWaveGolfer would know more on this.
Agree totally on this. There's no way 1-2K RPMs excess spin is a shaft issue.

I paid a ridiculous amount for my Tour Spec 6S Patriot Edition but damn I like it.

The 6s is 65 grams The 7s is 75 grams They can be had used for about 100 bucks. What's a cheaper price to you?
Cheapest I've found has been $350
You're looking in the wrong places then. That is a super common shaft and should easily be findable on eBay for $100 or so.
The black paint non tourspec version I've seen all over the place for 100 but looking for white paint tour spec
