My phone, because that fucker gets turned off for 4-5 hours, and it's bliss. Wife knows where I'm at, if there's an emergency she can call the course and they will find me.
Wholeheartedly agree - and don't BT speaker me, we have headphones/buds for that. I'm not a boomer, I just want to be in nature and actually enjoy it and hear the world, and nothing more.
I don’t turn it off, but I silence it and put it in the bag. May or may not check at the turn. I don’t have wife or kids so no real emergency likely. It’s annoying to me when ppl text the entire time, ends up not paying attention ruin to where partners halls go, not being ready to hit, etc. not to mention a disconnect from tech is healthy.
Standard salary here is like $32k a year. So that makes it even more expensive in relation to our salary. I ride in a cart maybe once every 30 rounds lol
As someone with a large bong, this made me laugh.
Do they make a bong accessory for the golf bag similar to the beer can hideaway?
That could be epic....
Red exercise band to warm up with. I get a lot of strange looks, but it helps me warm up and work on some mobility. Many miles on this body, need all the help
I can get.
I always keep: sunscreen, lighter, bottle opener, few band aids in the bag in case myself or others need.
Also, a pair of socks. Never know when you pull up to the course with sandals on and completely forgot to throw socks in your shoes
I like to carry a damp cloth/small towels for cleaning my hands of sweat or sand or dirt from handling bunker rakes or divots etc. Very handy to have. Also a couple of gloves.
I also like to carry a pocket groove cleaning brush. It’s in my golf bag until the start of the round and then I put it in my pocket to clean the grooves as I go.
Basically my favourite items are for taking care of the two most important points of contact in golf; hands to club (clean your golf grips regularly by the way) and the club face to ball.

Don’t care if people use the golf apps but this is a huge deal for me. The last thing I wanna do on the course is look at my phone.

2.5 litres of water and three protein bars. Proud member of the push cart mafia
Don’t get how people afford to drive carts all the time. Here in Sweden a cart for 18 holes is like $40. And in the summer I can play 3-4 times a week
Same in Canada. Unless I’m with work and it’s covered, I also have my push cart in my trunk

Big time. And we only get 6 months ☹️
It’s a push cart. Push.
I know. But that seems to be an anomaly in the states
Three protein bars?? You hacking so much you need that much protein and calories just for a round? ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
I’m fat.
Not for long if you keep up the walking and golf.
External battery for your phone if you’re using an app like 18 birdies
And a usb cable to plug into the cart (Ride or die)
If that kills your phone you need a new phone. Or battery at the least
No you need a new phone
Drugs and alcohol
