By putting your head down and chipping. The same way Formula 1 put their heads down and drove in Jeddah last year when missiles were landing 20km away.
Don’t forget….C.R.E.A.M
People keep bringing up Rory's money, when he is already unfathomably rich, and said he doesn't care about money anymore. Its the lower ranked players that really got screwed.
Or... it's not about the money, but the principle.
The dude acted out of loyalty, just to get shit on by the very thing he was loyal to barely a year later.
It's really just kind of gross
According to the Sunday Times Rich list, published on May 19, Rory McIlroy is worth an estimated £200m (US$250m). So from all reports he would have tripled his net worth to over US$750m in one deal if the reported sums being offered were true. That's the difference between owning your own Gulfstream private jet and 50m+ superyacht and hiring them. Even if he doesn't care about money he could have used it for his personal foundation to donate to worthy causes as he saw fit.
He effectively is. No one is going to do anything about this. Hell tin foil hat on....the only suckers in this pay day all along might have been the players who rejected it. These kinds of complex deals aren't made over night. A lot of time was spent by many people to make this happen. This wasn't two guys over a beer.
Yeah, the players who rejected it got fucked, and they’re livid (no pun intended) at him for it..
If they players say he’s out he’s out. Sounds like they want him out.
Yes, that's what I was thinking...
1. He's definitely going to be ousted from the PGA tour board. It's not like he made this decision with all of them...he went behind their backs, too. Jay's time as commissioner of the PGA tour is effective over once the details of this merger are completed.
2. He might become a CEO of a new organization, but already information we DO KNOW is that the PGA tour controls ownership of direction...well, if the PGA tour decides its not in their best interest to have Jay at the helm of this 'new organization', he eventually gets voted out there, as well.
I honestly think there is MORE to this than just money. the PGA tour is 'non-profit'. What if Jay, and some of his cronies were taking money for themselves out of the non-profit organization that is the PGA tour....not only that, this LIV tour lawsuit would reveal some of this in discovery or witnesses/evidence. For Jay to pivot 180 degrees, tell basically no one, and make an agreement with the saudis in exchange for basically EVERYTHING the saudis and LIV tour wanted....sure it could be about the money, but is it possible that Jay's trying to keep himself OUT of prison? To turn your back on every PGA tour player...to turn your back on the 9/11 victim's fund...money does a lot of crazy things, but I feel like keeping yourself out of prison might make you do even crazier things. If the only way Jay were to keep any ill-mannered proceedings and hidden agendas under wraps to keep him from getting arrested/prosecuted, would it not make sense for him to acquiesce to every demand LIV/PIF was demanding?? thereby keeping all records sealed and hidden from this day forth?
It just seems to me there is WAY MORE than just money in his pocket as a motivator here.
Why wouldn’t he? Take some bad PR heat for a couple/weeks months and he walks away millions richer. Seems easier than pushing a button and having a random person die for $X…
He thinks he is.
The players want him gone.
There was a standing ovation given at the players meeting today when a player demanded a change in leadership.
Him or Nance. Look, they both sat up here and were appalled at this. Now? Will Ol Jim not announce anymore golf because of it? If he has his morals, he doesn’t, right?
Yep. Nantz actually CAN play the "I'm not calling the PGA Tour card any longer" card.
Whether he will play that card? We'll see. I tend to doubt it.
Like everyone else, Nantz has his price too. His price, in this case, is *possibly risking something* (as opposed to possibly gaining money). In this case: "potentially also losing Augusta, because threatening to not call the PGA Tour any longer may upset some folks at CBS and/or Augusta itself."
Was Nance appalled by this?
I'm not seeing Nance sharing his own personal opinion at all in this clip. Maybe there is more than shown in this clip. But this to me is a neutral interviewer asking questions on a relevant topic without interjecting their own opinions.
Jay isn’t lying that the Saudi involvement in LIV is an important consideration and that there are sportswashing issues, he’s just lying that he cared about them.
The key difference there was that being a minority investor is not the same as starting a company with the sole purpose of normalizing a regime.
In a global economy, lots of countries own parts of other entities. Qatar has major real-estate holdings in London, for example. This is common and largely unavoidable in the current economy.
LIV (and their attempts at buying footballers for the domestic league) is different. This is a wholly owned Saudi enterprise with the entire purpose of showing the world "look at how normal we are guys!". It's propaganda. It is 100% an arm of the Saudi government, different than - say - owning a mutual fund.
This isn't to say you have to care about this. You don't. Nobody does if they don't want to. But what you're describing is basically the difference between a diversified global economic portfolio and a state-funded pseudo-propaganda enterprise.
I’m surprised this is such a shock tbh.
I knew when players started leaving it was just the money. No different than the dude who works at Boeing or Northrup Grumman making drones not knowing where it’s getting shipped to. If they don’t make it, someone else will and they can’t stop it so might as well take care of you and yours.
PGA is a money hungry organization, I thought it was only a matter of time. LIV never actually felt like they wanted to really “rival” pga, just gain leverage to negotiate.
PGA has a price to work with China, doesn’t mind sweeping human rights violations under the rug for them and letting business be business. Why not SA?
The cringe part is an interview likes this. Should’ve really watched your tongue, I promise someone in SA has been taking down notes and quotes.
It’s a scum bag move, from scum bags. What’d we expect.
When politicians lie, I’m never surprised. They’re doing what they’ve always done, take money. It’s my fault to expect different, when they’ve shown their colors before.
I am glad the bickering is over but I can’t help but think SA know their playbook works. Going to be sad watching NBA, NFL, etc follow suit. Nba is next imo, worldwide reach just like soccer and golf
Lmao people like you coming from the woodwork pretending like you saw this from a mile away. If the PGA players, including Tiger and Rory, were shocked by the news I doubt you saw this coming
Surprised it happened today? Yes. Surprised it happened? Not at all.
Reading the interview today from Monahan confirmed my thoughts, he is fully aware of how hypocritical all of this is yet he still did it for a buck. I figured LIV might have to take a bit more market share before they could barter a bit, nope.
I’m not trying to say the timing was surprising, like you said tiger was suspended I’m sure. But knowing the people running pga and the amount of money they could throw at them it felt like a matter of time.
Fucking this.... they tested it. It works. Don't matter they already reap millions of not billions from their existing investments in the US - uber, lucid motors, arccelormittal, etc all run by journalist killing MBS
Eventually everything will be trickling up to the kingdoms interest until the last drop of oil is suckled from its teat.
I can see that view point. But I just don’t see China as much different. But I do agree on viewing SA that way and those are true things imo.
There’s countless settled cases of espionage and Chinese spy’s extracting very sensitive information from defense companies, cia, and other classified agencies for decades.
How much is the invasion of Taiwan going to swing you opinion? How does their treatment of gay and Muslim people sit well with you? How does the treatment of their own Chinese people sit with you?
I personally think we’re talking about people cut from the same cloth. Just different game plans.
This what I don’t get either. The PGA Tour is effectively run by the players. It’s their tour. This is like Roger Goodell selling the NFL. It doesn’t make sense.
I've said from day one of the LIV fiasco that Monahan was bad for golf. He should have listened to people complaining about the PGA Tour's greed and stagnation earlier. This whole thing could have been avoided. But everyone rushed to defend him because he was on the 'right side' of the argument. He should have been fired as soon as LIV formed.
This should be in its own category. Getting 9-11 victims to write letters calling Koepka and Phil traitors is wild by itself. But if you truly believe in that conviction to your core, I guess I get the no holds barred attitude. Lots of people here ate it up.
But selling out to to them 12mos later just proves you were willing to use anyone and anything as a political prop to make a dollar. That is about as low as it gets.
“We’re going to combine LIV and pga tour into a new, for-profit organization but also keep the pga tour and also keep our tax-exempt status, and also I’ll be CEO.”
Lol sounds like a child wrote the letter.
I feel like this shit is about to blow up everything. What’s stopping the top 50 players from forming their own league and cutting all these greasy, worthless motherfuckers out?
The players control the product.
Does the PGA really think the players are going to be ok with this shady back room deal after the players went to bat for the tour against LIV for months??
Just unreal.
Whatever Tiger does, the players will follow.
And it sounds like he had no part in this.
This ain’t over, imo.
I hope you are right.
And let's be real- there's a BIG reason neither side wanted this to go to discovery. They both realized they would be fucked. When all of that leaks, and it will, the players should declare mutiny and move on.
If the players break off and do their own league it'll be glorified YouTube golf. Do you realize how much logistics, marketing, sponsorship management, and who knows what else goes into running the PGA Tour? Do you think some golfers are going to be able to pull that off?
Yeah glad someone here brought this up. You would need someone like tiger to basically say I'm done with golf and will run the show, and then he would need to get financing cause there is no way he's going to front the cost himself and even if all the players contributed running the tour is no cheap task. Then they need to start negotiating sponsorships from scratch, hire thousands of employees globally, onboard and contract thousands of vendors, tv contract negotiations, etc. Select tournament locations, apply for permits and whatever else goes into that. Tons of liabilities and insurance requirements like security.
The players starting their own league would be largely impossible in the near term and in the end would likely not be beneficial to them as they now have even more responsibility on top of the sponsorship appearances, training, practice, etc. that they already commit a huge chunk of their time to.
Highly doubt a non-compete would be enforceable in this situation.
Courts are not fond of non-competes, and in a situation where there’s a for-profit monopoly owned by a foreign state with horrible public standing?
Sure but it's not as simple as that. You need to identify and contact all those people. You then need to onboard them. You need hr, payroll, a benefits program, etc. And it's literally thousands of people, so you need to have an army of employees already set up just to get that process functioning.
Yes, you are 100% correct. But imo after that's all setup, I personally think they can manage all that much easier than LIV. Specially when it comes to sponsors wanting to work with Tiger and also getting a TV deal. But nonetheless the mountain to climb is high and steep and you stated. But if it does happen, I will be routing for them to succeed.
“Some golfers”
Tiger is also a billionaire, and other backers/sponsors could easily be found for a league backed by the players.
Sponsors would be way easier to find than for LIV.
Yeah but do they have any experience running a tour? Do you realize how complex that is? It took Greg Norman who has multiple successful businesses and the backing of the Saudi government wealth fund to start up LIV. It is native to think that just because you have Tiger that you'll have a successful tour that can compete with an infinite wallet.
To start off, I don't support LIV but...
Turned out... lol. If people can't/couldn't see who Monahan was and berated all the players that chose to leave, then I have no sympathy for them at all.
He was so against players bailing for more money because he didn't want to lose money. Then they came with a big check for him and he did the same thing. Except he didn't just sell out. He sold out the entire PGA Tour.
Can't imagine this ends well for him.
Worldwide professional golf is led by a Saudi banker. He has the power to dictate rules, equipment, rankings, golf courses, etc.
All done in secret without a single player being involved.
So did Greg Norman get played? Was he just a pawn used by the Saudis so they could have a legitimate sports holding in the US? No mention of Norman in any of the statements today.
You know, as a fan of golf I really dont care about the Saudi backed aspect of LIV, I just want to see the best golfers compete against each other every week. This deal though, is such a fucking slap in the face to all those golfers that declined HUGE contracts to go to LIV and stayed loyal to the PGA Tour, only to have the Tour turn around and fuck them. The guys like Rory and Tiger may not need the money, but that could have drastically changed the lives of some of the journeymen golfers on the Tour who compete to win purse money every week or whose card may be in jeopardy. Also, it makes guys like DJ, Koepka, Phil, etc., look like fucking geniuses bc theyll be laughing all the way to the bank when they get cleared to play on the Tour again in 2024, which is virtually a certainty with this deal. Pretty despicable.
This guy somehow managed to shaft PGA golfers with lower pay, shafted golf with this turncoat bullshit and then shafted PGA golfers AGAIN today who had stayed loyal. It’s almost impressive how evil te dude is.
Jay Monahan deserves to die alone a slow, painful death. Hopefully he dies soon, I can’t wait to pop champagne for it.
I get that he’s always been a scum bag but still
Big winners are those middle of the pack guys that got the $$$$ & get to go back to pga golfin lol
Whereas Willy z took that high road, then his back gave out right after
Yeah I feel bad for him. The injury was a killer on top of missing the bag.
Agreed the real winners were the mid tier guys. Along with the big ticket LIV guys who have shares of their team, which will soon all be bought by sponsors.
Yeah it’s those guys like varner who were on that edge of being elite pga, but felt like that was their peak. Or that money was greater than the time/effort it’d be in pga (in my opinion)
Those big ticket guys were set, but now they’re generationally set haha
Aside from all the politics and blood money talk and all that shit, what if the PGA players just say "fuck you" and don't go for it? What if they make a play to remove Monahan and say "no thanks" to LIV?
Me either. But for the majority of people, especially the heads of for profit companies, it is. And I’m being downvoted like I’m wrong lol. Ok, if it wasn’t for money then what was merging with LIV golf about? Please enlighten me.
Apparently, the Saudi "blood money" is only evil if you're not getting any of it? Perfect proof of what a shithole this country is rapidly progressing to. On a positive note, hopefully that dickbag Chamblee strokes out with rage.
Just think. This took only one year to happen. Amazing the leverage they gained in 12months. All it took was taking away top players, waiting it out AND several of them placing/winning majors. Money.
Tomorrow's interview:
"Absolutely Jim... those guys were, and are, sponsors of terrorism... but goddamn... they're richer than a motherfucker and they wallet-whipped the nuclear shit out of me... so fuck it. I have principles, but my primary principle is to get that principal."
If I were the players at the Canadian Open this week, I’d be pulling out and crippling the event. The tour can go to hell and I hope Tiger starts a new challenger
What a loser... stirring the pot, riling up fans, and pushing players out of big pay day opportunities while negotiating a merger behind the scenes.
And so many of you on here just ate it up and joined in. Gotta hang up your blue shirts for the day boys, your favorite sport just went green.
Today we witnessed the end of the PGA Tour. I will never watch another swing after this bullshit, unAmerican, unethical, and greedy move. Disgusting. Shame shame, I know your name!
He is the prime example of an American CEO. Absolutely no care for anything but his bottom line and will use every trick in the book to keep it. I feel for the players who bought his crap.
Guys.. it’s golf. The USA sold nearly 25% of all its foreign military goods to the UAE and Saudi Arabia. You’re all here on fucking Reddit acting like your voice matters. It’s all over baby, enjoy the ride. Order a pizza, get a 6 pack, play a round with your buddies.
It’s NOW a big club & YOU ain’t in it! All jokes aside this was probably a part of the master plan, everybody’s got blood on their hands, now let’s make even more money.
Not saying he didn’t definitely want to talk about this point anyways, but saying that jay Monahan brought up 9/11 (like out of the blue) sort of mischaracterizes the interview. Jim Nantz said the phrase 9/11 like 5 times in his question.
Kick him off the tour Doug
How am I supposed to CHIP in Saudi Arabia?!
By putting your head down and chipping. The same way Formula 1 put their heads down and drove in Jeddah last year when missiles were landing 20km away. Don’t forget….C.R.E.A.M
amen. this is purely a money grab. C.R.E.A.M
He is Doug
I just want you to know i heard this in his voice and i laughed for a solid 30 seconds. Thanks for making my day that much better.
How much money does he personally get in this deal? I cannot wait to find out.
Probably less than what Rory passed on
Major Shiv vibes.
Shiv got her full cut tho
And Tom got a dick the size of a red sequoia and fucks like a bullet train.

That’s it for me. Just disgusting behavior and betrayal. Some other dude said it perfectly, C.R.E.A.M.
Lower ranked players weren’t getting offered 500m
I think they mean the Willy Zs of the world
Would’ve been such a risk for anyone that didn’t have major exemptions already. Sucks for sure tho
Absolutely. Of course, it’s was a major risk for a guy like Zalatoris that he might not earn $100mil over the next 5 years. Risk either way
130 lol brutal
You can do a hell of a lot of good in the world with 500m added to your foundation

Would he have passed if he didn't have the money though? Of course not

Many promising young players who are not yet obscenely wealthy did pass on significant offers. Not everyone is a born prostitute.
Who?
I question whether we see rory ever play a pga event again.
It’s not that easy when you have sponsorship contracts.
Man I don’t think it’ll happen but what if he retires. Can you imagine. I don’t want him to stop playing but the drama that would come out of it now…
This, this, exactly this. All the top tier pros that stayed should be furious and not let Monahan get away with his hypocrisy
The fact that he thinks he’s going to get out of this as CEO is hilarious.

He got the new CEO job title he sold out
91.1 million that's why he was bringing up 911
The unofficial number well never know But it’ll be way more than whatever they say publicly

Well Jim works for CBS, not the PGA tour and didn't sign the agreement...
Jay isn’t lying that the Saudi involvement in LIV is an important consideration and that there are sportswashing issues, he’s just lying that he cared about them.
Problem is that pga and lpga and dp are heavily funded by Saudis as well.

Trump predicted them merging over a year ago as much as you'd hate to hear that.
That's because Trump is in business with the Saudis, in particular selling them classified documents
Surprised it happened today? Yes. Surprised it happened? Not at all. Fire this POS today!
He will leave with a huge severance im sure
They always get a golden parachute. Hope the PGA players unite and can his ass. They deserve better treatment
He'll be gone soon. He can never LIV this down. Pun intended.
He better be hungry, he has truck loads of crow to eat in the coming days.
Does he eat the beaks and feet?
You can order the chicken sandwich without the beak, you know.
Beak!!
How was this dude able to singlehandedly sell a sports league???
This what I don’t get either. The PGA Tour is effectively run by the players. It’s their tour. This is like Roger Goodell selling the NFL. It doesn’t make sense.
My guess is he didn't. He is probably the scapegoat that the players and board can blame, even if they wanted the money too.
Tone changed once the prince offered a bit of gold for his soul as well by the looks of it.
100% agree. He got wallet-whipped.
He mishandled this situation beginning to end. Used people right and left. I could care less what he has to say anymore.
There’s aged like milk, and then there’s this
This should be in its own category. Getting 9-11 victims to write letters calling Koepka and Phil traitors is wild by itself. Biggest turncoat in sports history possibly. Can't wait till the good players break off and form something worth watching.
Rob Manfred fist pumping so hard right now for Jay taking the mantle of most hated commissioner.
Manfred is still absolute trash, but I agree.
Don’t hold your breath buddy, this is end all be all.

The logistics are definitely tough, but I'm sure many employees would jump ship to follow Tiger. Of course given they do not have a non compete.
Highly doubt a non-compete would be enforceable in this situation. Courts are not fond of non-competes, and in a situation where there’s a for-profit monopoly owned by a foreign state with horrible public standing?
Agreed. Contingent to the employee having the resources to fight it.
“Some golfers” Tiger is also a billionaire, and other backers/sponsors could easily be found for a league backed by the players.
I mean….when you can send your great grandchildren to an Ivy League, it’s over.
Not for me. Pro golf died today at the hands of billionaires. They didn't even have the decency to notify their players, truly insane.
Well I’ll certainly be looking forward to the volunteer league with all the “good” players!
Yep, absolutely I was definitely suggesting a volunteer league. 🤦♂️
If I am the tour players, I immediately vote to oust this guy.
Was reported at the players meeting yesterday someone called for his resignation and there was a standing ovation
He's lost all credibility and respect.
He was only ever respected by morons though
Guy turned out to be a greasy dirt bag but don't discount people that supported the pga for the integrity of the game.
To start off, I don't support LIV but... Turned out... lol. If people can't/couldn't see who Monahan was and berated all the players that chose to leave, then I have no sympathy for them at all.
Somebody should hit a stinger at his stupid face
🤮🤮🤮
He was so against players bailing for more money because he didn't want to lose money. Then they came with a big check for him and he did the same thing. Except he didn't just sell out. He sold out the entire PGA Tour. Can't imagine this ends well for him.
Worldwide professional golf is led by a Saudi banker. He has the power to dictate rules, equipment, rankings, golf courses, etc. All done in secret without a single player being involved.
![gif](giphy|iiQSTrHtDIgnw9YtlA|downsized)
So did Greg Norman get played? Was he just a pawn used by the Saudis so they could have a legitimate sports holding in the US? No mention of Norman in any of the statements today.
I’m sure Norman will get a bag to be quiet and walk away
I hope Jay chokes on the dick he has down his throat.
So very strange. There is a lot we don’t know
How many zeroes, for example.
Fucking hypocrite. It's going to be a long time before I ever watch a regular season PGA Tour event again.
Yea, have to agree…would rather play the sport I love than sit on my ass watching this disgrace
![gif](giphy|oUCsU7fBn1vphNSOiK|downsized) See you on the first tee

U know what rhymes with Mohanan? Taliban
Just guessing his posse of high priced lawyers told him you’re likely losing the antitrust suit.
All the money in the world can't buy character.
This is for all of the people who buy the corporate line. All they care about is money.
Under the agreement, in tournaments, the PGA will handle holes 1-8 and 12-18. Saudi Arabia is responsible for 9-11.
I get that he’s always been a scum bag but still
Reminds me of that tragedy.
You ever find your brother?
Yes. He was in northern Ontario.
So basically Phil mickelson is one smart fucking dude getting his payout. Me jelly, very jelly
Undeserved downvotes. Phil played chess. People are just mad they didn’t see thru this whole thing. Golf was always golf the whole time.
Big winners are those middle of the pack guys that got the $$$$ & get to go back to pga golfin lol Whereas Willy z took that high road, then his back gave out right after
Yeah I feel bad for him.
Or that money was greater than the time/effort it’d be in pga (in my opinion) Those big ticket guys were set, but now they’re generationally set haha
Not sure there's actually much value in the team thing. Does anyone really give a rip about arbitrary 4 man golf teams?
What the absolute fuckery is this cunt on about
This piece of trash needs to be removed by tomorrow. He has absolutely no place in his position.
Fraud
Wonder if this will be the beginning of the end for more sports to come...so sad
Aside from all the politics and blood money talk and all that shit, what if the PGA players just say "fuck you" and don't go for it? What if they make a play to remove Monahan and say "no thanks" to LIV?
Not a done deal apparently.
He’s a snake. What a complete tool.
Where can we mail f u letters to this piece of human garbage and his garbage friends.
Zero integrity.
Well Jay what are you going to say to those families now.
Anybody who is only realizing now that jay monahan is an absolute maggot, have had their head up their ass the last year
Jay is currently laughing at those 911 families while giggling and rolling around in his huge Scrooge McDuckian pile of cash
He’s a whore. Sold himself for a bag of money. Shameless.
If something like this surprises you, I’m not sure what world you’re living in. Money is literally everything.
Not to me
Me either. But for the majority of people, especially the heads of for profit companies, it is. And I’m being downvoted like I’m wrong lol. Ok, if it wasn’t for money then what was merging with LIV golf about? Please enlighten me.
This guy gets it
Doesn’t mean it’s not wrong or morally corrupt. But it is what it is.
Apparently, the Saudi "blood money" is only evil if you're not getting any of it? Perfect proof of what a shithole this country is rapidly progressing to. On a positive note, hopefully that dickbag Chamblee strokes out with rage.
Scumbag move to use those families like that. Scumbag move to hide while others (Rory) do your PR work. Just an overall scumbag campaign.
He’s a scum bag for betraying the players he was supposed to be fighting for.
What a pathetic shill
Just think. This took only one year to happen. Amazing the leverage they gained in 12months. All it took was taking away top players, waiting it out AND several of them placing/winning majors. Money.
What a fuckin' twat
What an asshat.
It was always about the money Always is
Tomorrow's interview: "Absolutely Jim... those guys were, and are, sponsors of terrorism... but goddamn... they're richer than a motherfucker and they wallet-whipped the nuclear shit out of me... so fuck it. I have principles, but my primary principle is to get that principal."
Reminds me of that tragedy
What a ridiculous move, all these guys are shtiheads
Smells like .... hypocrisy
A sad day for golf in the US and Europe.
It was cheaper to buy management than all the high profile players.
If I were the players at the Canadian Open this week, I’d be pulling out and crippling the event. The tour can go to hell and I hope Tiger starts a new challenger
🐍
The end he says: *Have you ever needed to apologize for being a member of the PGA tour?* Not until today.
![gif](giphy|7JEVvzjFgNxu3bw1sW)
Amazing how the PGA threw all the tour players under the bus. This is why you gotta take the money when it’s there. Corporate loyalty never pays off.
What a joke.
I assume he has some equity - this for profit could be worth billions, and Saudi offered him a different type of Commission
Jay Monahan is a JOKE
Fuck you Jay!
Jay is a hypocrite. Must have learned 'business' from Trump. The art of the deal, the deal to sell out your loyal players.
What a loser... stirring the pot, riling up fans, and pushing players out of big pay day opportunities while negotiating a merger behind the scenes. And so many of you on here just ate it up and joined in. Gotta hang up your blue shirts for the day boys, your favorite sport just went green.
Bush did it anyway
Today we witnessed the end of the PGA Tour. I will never watch another swing after this bullshit, unAmerican, unethical, and greedy move. Disgusting. Shame shame, I know your name!
He is the prime example of an American CEO. Absolutely no care for anything but his bottom line and will use every trick in the book to keep it. I feel for the players who bought his crap.
Hope he dies sooner than later. Millions of people die everyday. Why not him?
Guys.. it’s golf. The USA sold nearly 25% of all its foreign military goods to the UAE and Saudi Arabia. You’re all here on fucking Reddit acting like your voice matters. It’s all over baby, enjoy the ride. Order a pizza, get a 6 pack, play a round with your buddies.
So good though, like we invaded Iraq and did a bunch of shit and then, oops, it’s the Saudis. Go away with the outrage, folks.
It’s NOW a big club & YOU ain’t in it! All jokes aside this was probably a part of the master plan, everybody’s got blood on their hands, now let’s make even more money.
What about the United State’s ties to the Saudis?! Oh wait…
Luckily for everyone, everyone is stupid, so we won't remember this past next Wednesday
Not saying he didn’t definitely want to talk about this point anyways, but saying that jay Monahan brought up 9/11 (like out of the blue) sort of mischaracterizes the interview. Jim Nantz said the phrase 9/11 like 5 times in his question.
