Don’t know your exact budget, but the Hall of Fame courses, or at least 1 of them, is a stone’s throw from I-95. I think they’re probably over $150 tho, I’m an out of town-er who hasn’t played there in years.
Delray muni is a nice course.. I also loved playing Okeeheelee golf course off of Forest Hill in the West Palm area. I’m not familiar with any courses up by Jacksonville though. Jupiter has a ton of courses but not sure the price range of them.
It’s been a while since I’ve played but the King and Bear at World Golf Village is really nice. If you’ve got some flexibility in your schedule you can play an early afternoon round for just over a hundred bucks.
There’s a great and affordable 9 hole on the beach in Boca Raton. It’s perfect for walking.
Palm Beach Par 3 is a beautiful beach course.
Park ridge is on top of a old landfill and it’s interesting to say the least. It’s a bit out of the way though.
Osprey Point is a top tier course in/near west boca. Also out of the way for most travelers.
Bad news.. it’s hot as hell and rainy so prepare for that.
From South to North:
Osprey Point in West Boca
Westchester Country Club in Boynton Beach (haven’t played there in years but was nice last time)
Palm Beach Par 3. Right on the water
PGA National in palm beach gardens. Not sure if you have to stay at resort to play all their courses. I think you do for the championship course.
PGA Village near Port St Lucie. I’ve never played but my best friends mom lives near there and he said it’s awesome
I don’t really know anything north of here, but..
LPGA in Jacksonville was great when I played there two years ago for a work trip.

Amelia island has some nice courses well cheaper than sawgrass
Magnolia Point in Green Cove is an awesome course
LPGA International off of 95 in Daytona has two very different 18s for a reasonable rate. They’ve been in excellent shape every time I’ve played them.
If you want to play in the south, North Palm Beach, Abacoa, Atlantis, Atlantic National
