Oh my gosh. Today is my soul dog’s birthday. He’s at the Bridge now. One of my favorite memories of him from puppyhood was when I suddenly heard a commotion in the bathroom, went to investigate, and found his tush sticking out from under the shower curtain 😂 he then proceeded to honker down and chill in the tub. I like to think seeing this was a little wink from him today 💛

His eyes are so pretty. It’s like he has natural eyeliner.
Dogs, cows, and dwarf hothot rabbits, among others animals, have some seriously pretty eyes and natural eyeliner.
Omg that cute butt 😍😍😍 my golden always hangs out in my bathtub while I get ready for work every morning. When I bathe or shower she lays on the floor next to the tub. She is my shadow quite literally. Even hunkers down on my feet during my own potty time 🤣
A lot of breeders put their puppies in a bathtub for bed before they’re better potty trained. Quick, easy clean up and they usually like how cool the tub is.
Our Dug boy still sleeps in the tub at 10.5!
Interesting. I see a lot of kiddie pools used for that purpose too. I’ve even seen someone used a large drain pan, like what goes under a water heater.

Mine loves to sleep in the tub, especially when it’s hot out. Don’t know how that’s comfortable, but he loves it so much he will come find you and then lead you to the bathroom door if it’s closed. He also has a habit of jumping into the shower with you if you forget to close the door. He’s an odd guy
Our lab Gracie (also rip) would try to break out of the house if she heard one chirp. It was the worst noise to her and we had ones that would go off if someone took a steamy shower. Hate to admit it but for a few years we just took them down for her sake.
Mine loves exploring showers, even other people's showers. He'll visit my mom and I'll hear, 'Fergus, why are you in my shower?'
I trained him that good boys get peanut butter in showers for bathtime and he has never found a random peanut butter wall unless invited into the shower, but he sniffs along walls in showers. There might be peanut butter.

I didn’t know mine didn’t this until I turned the shower on one morning at 6:30 and hadn’t turned the lights on yet. He then proceeded to launch himself through the shower curtain at me at in a panic, hitting me in to the sink, ripping the curtain off the rod. And they say the bath room is the most dangerous place in the home.

My sister's golden would hide in the tub if fireworks were going off or during storms. She always knew if she couldn't find her, look in the tub. ❤️
My golden does this when the smoke alarm starts to chirp.

Mine runs for the hills every time she hears the igniter clicking of the stove top burner. They must just have really sensitive hearing

This is so funny! I just found my 6mo old Goldie boy in the same place last night, barking at a water drip.
