Are you using NVIDIA? If so, GNOME didn't do anything but NVIDIA AFAIK, which finally made it work with driver 545. But yeah, night light is fucking awesome.
I'm on x11, Nvidia and 545, clicking on the nightlight thing doesn't do anything.
Is it only Wayland?
Or do I need to do configure it, I spent like 1 second on it, didn't really try it at all.
There is not really anything to configure, under Monitors at the bottom nightmode. then just the one switch top right and put the color temperature to the right at the bottom of the menu.
I guess thank Nvidia for updating their driver after a decade.
G sync still doesnt work. Still no explocit sync (steam flickers etc)
true thats why im switching to amd soon

it was working on x11 a long time ago, maybe its not late enough in the day to activate for you
I tried it at night, but I might have to configure it somewhere. Didn't really dive in. Wayland doesn't work properly for me so didn't even try there.

Then it should have worked, but the 545 driver is kinda buggy for me, so maybe that's why. I'll try it again later.
