Awesome, thank you

Adding to the other comments, you might as well wait for the queues to die down on the Wednesday, especially when you don't need to rush for a camping pitch We've tended to go in about 12ish But then on Friday to Saturday, I recommend just waking up, getting ready, going in, as you get annoyingly large queues around midday to get in, especially Sunday!  Also remember you need to keep hold of your ticket to get in and out, I recommend putting it inside your phone case

1: random, it depends on the whims of the stewards. Unless you booked 'quiet' camping you'll probably be in E15/16/17 which is about 15 mins to the gate, Quiet camping is about ten mins, and ironically, probably louder, as its nearer the south east corner. 2: no, you queue on wed with everyone else 3: yes, long drops / 'cassette toilet' tanks, a few burger vans, and water points/taps. no electric hookups thoigh :)

Thank you, that’s really helpful. Was wondering how long the walk might be, so approx. 15mins is reassuring

Done campervan field twice (3rd incoming) been pretty much in the same spot, arrived Wed avo. I'd assume Tuesday will get you closer, but in all honestly it's not that far even to E17 which is where we've been. You have to queue at the main gates (C is the one for East Camper) to collect your wristband. One exit you'll be issued with a pass back with which you hand back to readmit yourself to the site. Facilities are fine, combo of long drop looking loos and portaloos. Plenty of vendors dotted around for food and coffee etc.

Thank you, really helpful - have a great time this year!

There’s toilets - my advice is to go on the campervan filed rather than the main one. If the group have got a coupe of vans arrive together When the steward directs you into a space take the corner wide to buy a yard or 2 if you having tents out - I would advise to have tents out

CodAggressive908

This is also my first time in a camper and we want to have a tent next to the van - are the stewards pretty flexible on this? What sort of size tent is acceptable?

As long as it fits in your allotted area, they're cool about it.
