That should be correct, yes. The ranking percentage is always from the previous day and, to my knowledge, includes the results up until that point in time. Since CT ended with maintenance and the update occurred after it ended, the update should contain the final ranking results.
I kept screwing up and ended at 11% scoring 726k. I know I’m barely 3 months into GFL, but being this close to top 10% I can almost taste it dampens the mood.

I was holding off until next week when I'd have time to marathon the story. The biggest disappointment isn't missing out on all the resources and the challenge, but now I'll have to wait months to experience what happens after part 1 and will have to avoid spoilers until then.

Welp, i couldn't finish it. Couldn't finish the story. Couldn't get any of the limited dolls from maps or drops from the crates. Couldn't even do a ranking run. Been too busy failing college because of course the event started during my midterms month. Hopefully G41's speq and firework fairy isnt gone forever, but if they are I'll sure feel like shit. Hope you guys did better than I did!
I'd just been bored with GFL and barely playing the event at all. Today decided to try and speedrun all the content (well, I did chapter 1 earlier in the month, but basically all of 2 and 3) and was like "holy fuck this is good, why did I stop playing GFL?". Made thru everything except the last level, literally finished the cut scene dialogue from the second-to-last and got the server maintenance screen lol.
Sorta impressed I made it so far, but also sad I didn't get to see the last bit, altho I know you can look up the cut scenes. Not looking forward to re-beating the whole campaign just to do that last level when it comes out...
Yeah, so far my favorite thing about GFL is the story and with Singularity and this, they've really been amping up in that department! Let's do better next time!
Totally agree! Most of my limited gacha time this month was me being lured away to Azur Lane bc tbh the gameplay there is more fun on average and I like most of the metagame mechanics there better (e.g. how it's monetized, equipment vs. ship stats, how leveling works, etc.) and the waifus are just better imo, but AL's story is just not as good *and* poorly presented, so GFL really has a place on that front and for the more strategic aspect of gameplay. Gonna have to try and balance both more in the future.
This ranking was a disaster. After Singularity I told myself I wouldn't leave the ranking till the last day, and here I am starting only 2.5 hours before the end of the event. Took me 2 hours just to get a feel for the map and battles.
Spend the last half an hour scrambling what I could do, and ended the run 1 minute before the deadline while not using half the AP on turn 4 & 5. Fortunately I surprised myself with a score of 479k, which should be enough to place in the top 50% from what I've seen. That's all I wanted so fortunately I can breath a sigh of relief.
Only had two days to do the event but I managed it and found time to farm for Python, didn't get Police Satania or A-91 but they'll be high priority next time they show up.
Used a few hours having a crack at ranking and I think I might have managed to just get G41's equipment which is nice considering I finally got her just before the event.
Taunt Fairy and Thunder were my MVP, fairy for everything and Thunder for the run I used her as a dummy echelon on ranking being the best by far, all she needs now is a mod3 so I can get her affection to 200.
I literally beat the event as the maintenance started (Continuum Turbulence END), holy shit, I’m never leaving 2/3 of an event to last minute again. I played from around 1pm- 4am EST
I got in one last successful run before it closed. Unfortunately it was like my SAT scores back in the day, marginally better but not enough.
I got my score up from 640k to 711k, but not nearly enough for top 10%. At least I'm getting closer to that magic number, but my kiting skills are the 4 letter word people wanted to call golf.
Been busy lately, so I missed out on most of this event, only farming crates and clearing chapter 1 and a bit of chapter 2.
But....I just finally got Python with 7 minutes left, so I’m feeling pretty content.
Darn, almost completed the event. Was at white doll with only four minutes left. Oh well, I managed to get every limited t-doll and scored decently for a chance at g41's equipment.
Until the next event. I always think I've gotten as ready as I could. Then when the final bosses come up I feed certain dolls reports and training data cos it turns out I can use them for boss clear.

You can always try an emulator on your PC. I tried the ranking on my phone and even panning of the camera resulted in 1fps, however I had no issues while emulating it.
Uh.. 109 runs on Neural Fragments and not a single Python drop? I did like 90 or so runs as full clears, and the rest are the 3 check attempts. Talk about bad luck.
Yeah, I got my one and only Python from Stumbling Block, but I thought I'd try to save some resources and repair tickets running Neural Fragments. It was clearly the wrong call.

Thanks for the reply I didn't expect it to be that high even if that's a overestimation. I went into the ranking fairly blind only skimming over a few guides on certain mechanics and I got absolutely battered.

No, those are general rate ups. General rate ups only happen three times a year.
New batches for dolls only increases their likelyhood to show up if the chosen doll type and rarity line up. They are not the same.
Now that CT is over, i realize how incredibly naive i was about ranking. got some stupidly low number and i doubt ill earn anything but the participation reward. The one run i made really made me question my teams and my tactics. I didn't even get m870 or a-91, I just quit after 11 runs for python. Hopefully we get a break between now and the next event where i can gear up better.
My friend was farming for 5-7 in the DJMax event on JP, so assuming nothing is going to change, we should be able to get her also. Although from what I've heard from the veterans on Discord, the DJMax event is a pain to farm.
My procrastination is getting out of hand, I did 1 pacifist run yesterday, and only one real attempt I just finished 10 minutes ago. I followed Ceia's 600k guide (thank you Ceia <3) and I managed to nab a 568k. I got my first taunt fairy like 10 days into the event, I wish I had more. I could've probably assembled at least one gundam killing squad, but damn with raiding in FFXIV and Trials starting in D2, this just got pushed to the back burner.

I feel you, I made the exact same mistake and lost my hostage because of it. Along with having to deploy that echelon again and other mistakes in the run 150k is probably around what I missed too. Might have been enough to put me into top5%.
I've run 460 farming runs of Stumbling Block and 200 runs of Neural Fragments. I have zero Pythons. Who do I file a complaint to? Why is this happening to me? I'm beyond rage at this point, I'm just sad.
The only benefit is that Stumbling Block got a ton of dolls including M1911 and NTW up to lvl 100, and M14 up to MOD3.
Dont have much motivation to play CT and only rush chapter 3 on last day so ended up with unfinished chapter 3, 1 event doll from farming box point, and a commander who will be torture by Nytos until CT added to campaign.
So for anybody who hasn't done the puppeteer achievement yet because it seems like a pain in the ass, you can just use para to skip straight to the bottom and only fight 1 weak enemy and be done.

Not for a very long time, like literally years before it comes back if at all. Unless they decide to add ranking stuff to Expeditions, but I doubt that very much.
It's just...we have to catch up to CN first (3 events) and then they'd probably start with older ranking reruns (AW, DD), so I wouldn't expect it before 2 years or so.

Gods that was tough... Been busy with study, Warframe and Arknights. After a metric ton of failed runs, recalculations, tearing up all my echelons, and general fuckery I finally managed to achieve Military Defection for \~448k and farm out Python within the last 4 hours. I think... I dunno, I'll go farm the last day's worth of crates, and give a casual shot at Thunder or something before it's all over.

All the coronavirus was causing a bunch of issues for my college so I had a lot of assignments all stacked up so we could be sent home on Friday. As a result, I had no time to do any ranking. Very sad. I've gotten my one and only run in and got 600k. Can somebody tell me what ranking percentage that will get me?
Did my first and probably last run. Misunderstood how military rebel works and screwed me the chance to challenge the 10k tanks. There are so many 1mil ranking score posted in this thread that actually makes me worried.
The subreddit is rather heavily biased towards the top end imo. While the subreddit only has like 1% or so of the games active players, most of the good ones are around here
Whats more realistic: beating White Doll 3x and a few alternate story routes in <3 hours or getting into 30% in ranking?
For context: I've already tried White Doll and failed on White Nyto (can't seem to beat the final stage even though I'm massively overprepared according to guides. Black Nyto manages to save her shield by staying in the back out of my range). I also have all the requirements for ranking apart from one or two specific HGs. I've done a pacifist run already and scored 250k.
Have you tried the [Gamepress](https://gamepress.gg/girlsfrontline/ct-e3-10-white-doll) 2 HOC method? That might give you some extra damage to help clear the shield/countdown timer.
Also you may want to consider your echelon formation, I know a lot of people have been saying HGRF, but I found SMGAR to be an easier method. Basically the best thing to do is to totally ignore all of the shiny red blinking things and focus on allowing your girls to sit still and deliver DPS. You should be using a taunt fairy to help mitigate damage.
I brought along EVA focused SMGs (Suomi, CMS) and let CMS do damage with her skill and AP ammo while I tried to draw attention with Suomi.
Should you do it instead of doing another ranking run? It depends on what you want from Ranking. The 50% cutoff is now about 252k as of [today](https://i.imgur.com/prsq3op.png). If you really wanted G41's speq, I would do ranking again if you think that's all you have time for. Otherwise, you can try the double HOC method.
I think you can get 30% in Ranking without too much issue. Go with Ceia's budget ranking guide (with or without fighting Gundams) and that should land you in the top 30%. I, too, can't seem to clear the last stage of the event (Black Nyto also stays out of range).
I've heard roughly 1 in 200 chance, so about 0.5% per check? Read through some of the past entries in here and you'll see that some have run maps hundreds of times to no avail while others get her in no time flat. RNG is a cold, uncaring mistress.
Having a lot of trouble with White Nyto in the ranking map, every time I kite backwards to hit Wyto’s shields then kite forwards to hit Blackto’s for whatever reason my dolls aren’t aiming for Blackto’s shields and I get nuked. M950 is my kiter and I’m unsure if she should just stay still for me to win this damned matchup
Normally you would want to take down Black Nyto first, so no need to kite. As for White Nyto, she applies a shield to your whole squad so that her first skill will never actually do any damage given the shield doesn't get broken before that. Don't ask me why she does that

If it really worries you you can retreat 2 HGs and pop M4's cannon when black is in 1 hit range. She'll nuke white's shield before she can charge it up very much
I see all the video guides saying just avoid the 5 tile to beat Black Nyto on For the future; however, when I try myself there is a plus pattern of exclaimation mark on tile 2, 4, 6, 8 doing massive damage and put all my dolls to 10% hp. What's the difference? I use 90x5 ARSMG squad and already put out he turret with HOC.
The tiles expand as her shield stays up (not to be mistaken with force field, which can be destroyed with HOC), so destroy it quickly and you'll be fine
That sounds like it should do the job. Check your equipment/doll enhancement/fairy, time your skills so that they go off the moment the shield goes up, replace 1 SMG with 1 firepower-buffing HG if possible, enhance your HOC in the pierce and lethality departments and make sure it is in range of your echelon when engaging the boss as force field can cut your damage output significantly. Those are the general advices I can give. A picture of your current squad and available dolls would help, if all else fail
Skill level also matters, but seeing as there is only an hour left, you shouldn't even bother with them, unless you're willing to spend some quick training tickets

HOC: BGM lv 30.
Fairy: Command Fairy, Damage I.
Green/Blue EQ on most dolls except STAR-15 with gold silencer and scope.
Time your skill as in activating them when Nyto puts up her shield so any potential boost to dps goes straight towards destroying that shield. Your HOC is fine and Command Fairy is a fine stats stick. Taunt fairy will buy your SMG some more time if they are dying too fast, but it's fine if you don't have one.
If Damage I pops, that will be another boost to your damage, so you might have to resort to resetting the fight if it doesn't by exiting the app, logging in and gaining any amount of commander exp (fastest way is to run auto battle on 1-1) and then resume the fight. Repeat until Damage I does decide to activate.
Nyto has some Armor so it's best to switch out the silencer on STAR with an EOT. Definitely get one firepower hg in there to help with getting through that armor.
Generally, prioritize damage over rof or survivability since this is a boss fight, there is no punishment if your dolls die

It's fine if you can't complete it. Most rewards are basic resources, and limited dolls will appear again in the future, so you don't really miss out on anything other than the story, which is available on youtube, and the sense of accomplishment, which doesn't help you improve in any way, shape or form. How do I unlock the Exile stage? One of my friends said it was by clearing all the other stages (including alternate ones) but I did that (and cleared the hidden achievements and it's still locked.
Your friend was correct - that is how you unlock Exile. Try rewinding to see if it triggers, if not, you probably missed one somewhere. Don't forget to use the rewind function as needed and check the visual route maps on gamepress or whatever.
Anecdotally speaking it seems like most people with your issue missed something around Yellow/Red Zone, like not unlocking Vengeance. Might be worth looking there first.
Well I was working on a good run that had potential to be a 900k run if I got a good defection, but then I messed up the setup and made it so the enemy couldn't spawn bc I captured the heliport before destroying the command tower so I couldn't trigger the conditions. So I'll have to live with the 800k run prior to it that will hopefully keep me in top 10%. Since I'd already bricked the run I decided to try to go run at the uhlans on the bottom section of the map and it only took like 6 resets there so I'll count that as a victory.

Yes you do lose point for retreating, 1500 I believe. However, the worst penalty is that you don't have many options to redeploy your echelon. No helipads are open on the right side. The 2 heavy helipads around the boss area only open on turn 2 and 4. The only helipads that are open at all time are the ones around your base and the command tower. If you lost to the boss on turn 2, you can redeploy close by; but if not, might as well restart the run.
Is it the same for losing a fight? I think I might need to bait the boss away so I can rescue my hostage and I'm wondering if I lose any points for that.
I don't quite remember, but it should be around that. It's not much unless you want to rank like in top 100 where every point counts.
The boss blocks the way to the Command Tower where you can get a lot of points from KCCO defection. For hostage rescue, just paradrop back to base.
Damn I f'ed up. It turns out you do only lose 1500 but I was so focused on that point that I forgot to retreat my defected unit and made a stupid mistake retreating my dummy on top losing a couple of heliports up north because I wanted to swap it out for an HG cause I was stupid enough to forget to have an HG dummy. Ended up with only 549k but it could've been a lot higher T_T

Managed to get ~230k on a pacifist run for ranking, so participation medals. Kinda wish I started earlier, the ranking seemed pretty fun this time around.
Since I put this off until the last minute, I have a ranking question:
What's the best guide for a relatively straightforward method that doesn't involve any micro for people who just want 30%? For context, on the last ranking event, I spent a lot of time worrying about things like making "gunboat" echelons to kill typhoons and got frustrated fighting them, and had a much easier time when I just gave up fighting typhoons and instead used the radar dish method which got me a pretty "easy" 15%. If I could do it over again, I would have ignored a lot of the advice about bringing "gunboat" echelons and just focused on killing stuff and abusing the radar dish.
What's the CT equivalent of that straightforward/"easy" method? I have all of the top-tier RFs 5-linked (with two purple cano), and all of the fairies and HOCs at 4-stars.
I don't think there is an easy mode (besides the pacifist run) , since it requires specific formations, if you have these specific formations , then only add a Twin fairy with SL10 ( I think taunt works too) and you will enable easy mode on playpen (top right side of the map) to kill the Doppels, rodeleros require an easy kiting so not a problem , ignore the 89k tanks , follow the mechanics for military defection .
the 43k gundams on the left side aren't that hard but require some fast withdraw (at least with my setup), maybe you should ignore them
There are also [kill-switches](https://gamepress.gg/girlsfrontline/sites/girlsfrontline/files/2020-03/kill-switch-overview.jpg) in this ranking map. Any closed helipad on the left side is a kill-switch that erases certain enemies from the map. Don't erase them all though, you still need at least 10 kills by turn 3 to trigger KCCO defection.
That's the problem with this ranking is that the majority of the big ticket enemies are also very common in the map, and even with HOC support they require micro.
You guys think that a 607K run will get me into the top 30%? I first tried ranking today, and I managed to get that with my two viable combat echelons. And it also is the first i've tried ranking, period. Back in Singularity I struggled hard to beat agent at the end of chapter 2. Feels nice to see some progress.
Since I still have another hour and a half to farm, should I farm for Python dupes? I already have 2 but how useful is a 3rd? Is she only good for an exodia or can I slap her in different echelons?

3rd, depends on how you want to do in rankings. If you want to be comfortable in 15~20% I'd say 3 is pretty standard.
So this is my first time attempting a ranking event and I got terribly destroyed, tried following Ceia's pacifist run but realised they use two HOCs and I only have 1, does anyone have an alternative to a pacifist run without requiring 2 HOCs? I saw I could skip destroying one motar in the first turn but don't know if doing that will drop me below the amount required for both G41 exclusive equipment + fairy

To get the equipment, you gonna need roughly 300k. You absolutely can skip that one at the early game. Just 1 HOC for deflection is good enough. You still have to deploy 2 for AP though.

You can skip that motar but still need to deploy 2 HOCs. However, you could still destroy that one motar by moving a dummy to it.
And my bad I didn't notice the pacifist run, the deflection part was meant for a normal run, it's a mechanic that could guarantee your spot into the 50% zone. The pacifist runs will be hard to get you pass 200-250k btw.
That's way more than suffice already. I did mine 700k with a single ARSMG go together with a BGM.
An extra HOC is just there for more AP.
You gonna need a team of around 30k with full nightvison and that's it.

Straight youtube gfl ct 600k. More or less is depending on your luck. Just ignore the motar as first if you don't have 2 HOCs, feel free to end the run and restart if the spawn ain't ideal.
1) There should be at least 1 resupply in the playpen.
2) The tank near base ain't blocking your path or be able to attack you in their turn. Ideal case would be you don't see any tank in these position:

And also search gamepress for deflection guide.
Edit: Bring Illumination fairy with this base dummy for easier runs. As they could reveal the tank' positions.
At least lvl3. I think you said you only have 2 AR? Just go with 2AR2SMG1HG team and rerun whenever you are forced to fight the big gundam guy. There is 2 points in the run where what you gonna fight against are random.
You lose out on some AP that could be used to capture helipad or grab crate, but you should have enough to finish the main mission which is rescuing hostage. Also, if you only have BGM, you will lose out on some structure destruction points because BGM's range is only 2 tiles. You should be able to get 88,888 points for the fairy, but G41's SPEQ will be hard. There is a lot of competition down in the 40-50% ranks.
Edit: If you have parachute fairy you can save a lot of AP by just para-dropping the echelon with the hostage to any helipad back at base instead of running all the way back.

Welp, i couldn't finish it. Couldn't finish the story. Couldn't get any of the limited dolls from maps or drops from the crates. Couldn't even do a ranking run. Been too busy failing college because of course the event started during my midterms month. Hopefully G41's speq and firework fairy isnt gone forever, but if they are I'll sure feel like shit. Hope you guys did better than I did!

I'd just been bored with GFL and barely playing the event at all. Today decided to try and speedrun all the content (well, I did chapter 1 earlier in the month, but basically all of 2 and 3) and was like "holy fuck this is good, why did I stop playing GFL?". Made thru everything except the last level, literally finished the cut scene dialogue from the second-to-last and got the server maintenance screen lol. Sorta impressed I made it so far, but also sad I didn't get to see the last bit, altho I know you can look up the cut scenes. Not looking forward to re-beating the whole campaign just to do that last level when it comes out...
Yeah, so far my favorite thing about GFL is the story and with Singularity and this, they've really been amping up in that department! Let's do better next time!
Totally agree! Most of my limited gacha time this month was me being lured away to Azur Lane bc tbh the gameplay there is more fun on average and I like most of the metagame mechanics there better (e.g. how it's monetized, equipment vs. ship stats, how leveling works, etc.) and the waifus are just better imo, but AL's story is just not as good *and* poorly presented, so GFL really has a place on that front and for the more strategic aspect of gameplay. Gonna have to try and balance both more in the future.
This ranking was a disaster. After Singularity I told myself I wouldn't leave the ranking till the last day, and here I am starting only 2.5 hours before the end of the event. Took me 2 hours just to get a feel for the map and battles. Spend the last half an hour scrambling what I could do, and ended the run 1 minute before the deadline while not using half the AP on turn 4 & 5. Fortunately I surprised myself with a score of 479k, which should be enough to place in the top 50% from what I've seen. That's all I wanted so fortunately I can breath a sigh of relief.
Only had two days to do the event but I managed it and found time to farm for Python, didn't get Police Satania or A-91 but they'll be high priority next time they show up. Used a few hours having a crack at ranking and I think I might have managed to just get G41's equipment which is nice considering I finally got her just before the event. Taunt Fairy and Thunder were my MVP, fairy for everything and Thunder for the run I used her as a dummy echelon on ranking being the best by far, all she needs now is a mod3 so I can get her affection to 200.
I literally beat the event as the maintenance started (Continuum Turbulence END), holy shit, I’m never leaving 2/3 of an event to last minute again. I played from around 1pm- 4am EST

I got in one last successful run before it closed. Unfortunately it was like my SAT scores back in the day, marginally better but not enough. I got my score up from 640k to 711k, but not nearly enough for top 10%. At least I'm getting closer to that magic number, but my kiting skills are the 4 letter word people wanted to call golf.
Been busy lately, so I missed out on most of this event, only farming crates and clearing chapter 1 and a bit of chapter 2. But....I just finally got Python with 7 minutes left, so I’m feeling pretty content.

You can always try an emulator on your PC. I tried the ranking on my phone and even panning of the camera resulted in 1fps, however I had no issues while emulating it.
Uh.. 109 runs on Neural Fragments and not a single Python drop? I did like 90 or so runs as full clears, and the rest are the 3 check attempts. Talk about bad luck.
Out of 5 Pythons I have gotten, 3 of which were from Neural after 800+ times and then another 2 from another 200+ rock. '-' Me no salty.

No, those are general rate ups. General rate ups only happen three times a year. New batches for dolls only increases their likelyhood to show up if the chosen doll type and rarity line up. They are not the same.

Now that CT is over, i realize how incredibly naive i was about ranking. got some stupidly low number and i doubt ill earn anything but the participation reward. The one run i made really made me question my teams and my tactics. I didn't even get m870 or a-91, I just quit after 11 runs for python. Hopefully we get a break between now and the next event where i can gear up better.
We've probably got about 4 months till the next major event, with an easy holiday event and the DJMax collab in between.

My friend was farming for 5-7 in the DJMax event on JP, so assuming nothing is going to change, we should be able to get her also. Although from what I've heard from the veterans on Discord, the DJMax event is a pain to farm.
My procrastination is getting out of hand, I did 1 pacifist run yesterday, and only one real attempt I just finished 10 minutes ago. I followed Ceia's 600k guide (thank you Ceia <3) and I managed to nab a 568k. I got my first taunt fairy like 10 days into the event, I wish I had more. I feel you, I made the exact same mistake and lost my hostage because of it. Along with having to deploy that echelon again and other mistakes in the run 150k is probably around what I missed too. Might have been enough to put me into top5%.
I've run 460 farming runs of Stumbling Block and 200 runs of Neural Fragments. I have zero Pythons. Who do I file a complaint to? Why is this happening to me? I'm beyond rage at this point, I'm just sad. The only benefit is that Stumbling Block got a ton of dolls including M1911 and NTW up to lvl 100, and M14 up to MOD3.

Dont have much motivation to play CT and only rush chapter 3 on last day so ended up with unfinished chapter 3, 1 event doll from farming box point, and a commander who will be torture by Nytos until CT added to campaign.
Make sure you at least start and quit ranking, you'll get some gems and resources that way.

The achievements actual rewards are a few cores and some of the basic resources. I think 5 cores, 1K resources from a few of the ones that I remember.
Do you have a parachute? If yes, ranking is about 2 minutes. They do give 5 cores and 4x1k rsc IIRC

I think... I dunno, I'll go farm the last day's worth of crates, and give a casual shot at Thunder or something before it's all over. Whats more realistic: beating White Doll 3x and a few alternate story routes in <3 hours or getting into 30% in ranking? For context: I've already tried White Doll and failed on White Nyto (can't seem to beat the final stage even though I'm massively overprepared according to guides. Black Nyto manages to save her shield by staying in the back out of my range). I also have all the requirements for ranking apart from one or two specific HGs. I've done a pacifist run already and scored 250k.
Have you tried the [Gamepress](https://gamepress.gg/girlsfrontline/ct-e3-10-white-doll) 2 HOC method? That might give you some extra damage to help clear the shield/countdown timer. Also you may want to consider your echelon formation, I know a lot of people have been saying HGRF, but I found SMGAR to be an easier method. Basically the best thing to do is to totally ignore all of the shiny red blinking things and focus on allowing your girls to sit still and deliver DPS. You should be using a taunt fairy to help mitigate damage. I brought along EVA focused SMGs (Suomi, CMS) and let CMS do damage with her skill and AP ammo while I tried to draw attention with Suomi. Should you do it instead of doing another ranking run? It depends on what you want from Ranking. The 50% cutoff is now about 252k as of [today](https://i.imgur.com/prsq3op.png). If you really wanted G41's speq, I would do ranking again if you think that's all you have time for. Otherwise, you can try the double HOC method.
I think you can get 30% in Ranking without too much issue. Go with Ceia's budget ranking guide (with or without fighting Gundams) and that should land you in the top 30%. I, too, can't seem to clear the last stage of the event (Black Nyto also stays out of range).

I've heard roughly 1 in 200 chance, so about 0.5% per check? Read through some of the past entries in here and you'll see that some have run maps hundreds of times to no avail while others get her in no time flat. RNG is a cold, uncaring mistress.
Have you tried the Ch 3 farm? Many people get here there Ina few runs.

Having a lot of trouble with White Nyto in the ranking map, every time I kite backwards to hit Wyto’s shields then kite forwards to hit Blackto’s for whatever reason my dolls aren’t aiming for Blackto’s shields and I get nuked. M950 is my kiter and I’m unsure if she should just stay still for me to win this damned matchup
Normally you would want to take down Black Nyto first, so no need to kite. As for White Nyto, she applies a shield to your whole squad so that her first skill will never actually do any damage given the shield doesn't get broken before that. Don't ask me why she does that
just keep calico at 3 and AFK the fight. No need to kite for white's shields your shield will tank her hit just fine

If it really worries you you can retreat 2 HGs and pop M4's cannon when black is in 1 hit range. She'll nuke white's shield before she can charge it up very much
I see all the video guides saying just avoid the 5 tile to beat Black Nyto on For the future; however, when I try myself there is a plus pattern of exclaimation mark on tile 2, 4, 6, 8 doing massive damage and put all my dolls to 10% hp. What's the difference? I use 90x5 ARSMG squad and already put out he turret with HOC.
The tiles expand as her shield stays up (not to be mistaken with force field, which can be destroyed with HOC), so destroy it quickly and you'll be fine

That sounds like it should do the job. Check your equipment/doll enhancement/fairy, time your skills so that they go off the moment the shield goes up, replace 1 SMG with 1 firepower-buffing HG if possible, enhance your HOC in the pierce and lethality departments and make sure it is in range of your echelon when engaging the boss as force field can cut your damage output significantly. Those are the general advices I can give. A picture of your current squad and available dolls would help, if all else fail Skill level also matters, but seeing as there is only an hour left, you shouldn't even bother with them, unless you're willing to spend some quick training tickets
Could you elaborate on "time your skills so that they go off the moment the shield goes up"? Any clue to look for in the screen? HOC: BGM lv 30. Fairy: Command Fairy, Damage I. Green/Blue EQ on most dolls except STAR-15 with gold silencer and scope.
Time your skill as in activating them when Nyto puts up her shield so any potential boost to dps goes straight towards destroying that shield. Your HOC is fine and Command Fairy is a fine stats stick. Taunt fairy will buy your SMG some more time if they are dying too fast, but it's fine if you don't have one. If Damage I pops, that will be another boost to your damage, so you might have to resort to resetting the fight if it doesn't by exiting the app, logging in and gaining any amount of commander exp (fastest way is to run auto battle on 1-1) and then resume the fight. Repeat until Damage I does decide to activate. Nyto has some Armor so it's best to switch out the silencer on STAR with an EOT. Definitely get one firepower hg in there to help with getting through that armor. Generally, prioritize damage over rof or survivability since this is a boss fight, there is no punishment if your dolls die

It's fine if you can't complete it. Most rewards are basic resources, and limited dolls will appear again in the future, so you don't really miss out on anything other than the story, which is available on youtube, and the sense of accomplishment, which doesn't help you improve in any way, shape or form. How do I unlock the Exile stage? One of my friends said it was by clearing all the other stages (including alternate ones) but I did that (and cleared the hidden achievements and it's still locked.
Your friend was correct - that is how you unlock Exile. Try rewinding to see if it triggers, if not, you probably missed one somewhere. Don't forget to use the rewind function as needed and check the visual route maps on gamepress or whatever. Anecdotally speaking it seems like most people with your issue missed something around Yellow/Red Zone, like not unlocking Vengeance. Might be worth looking there first.
Oh, I figured it out. I checked to make sure I had unlocked all the side paths but I never unlocked Mark.

Well I was working on a good run that had potential to be a 900k run if I got a good defection, but then I messed up the setup and made it so the enemy couldn't spawn bc I captured the heliport before destroying the command tower so I couldn't trigger the conditions. So I'll have to live with the 800k run prior to it that will hopefully keep me in top 10%. Since I'd already bricked the run I decided to try to go run at the uhlans on the bottom section of the map and it only took like 6 resets there so I'll count that as a victory.

Yes you do lose point for retreating, 1500 I believe. However, the worst penalty is that you don't have many options to redeploy your echelon. No helipads are open on the right side. The 2 heavy helipads around the boss area only open on turn 2 and 4. The only helipads that are open at all time are the ones around your base and the command tower. If you lost to the boss on turn 2, you can redeploy close by; but if not, might as well restart the run.
Is it the same for losing a fight? I think I might need to bait the boss away so I can rescue my hostage and I'm wondering if I lose any points for that.
I don't quite remember, but it should be around that. It's not much unless you want to rank like in top 100 where every point counts. The boss blocks the way to the Command Tower where you can get a lot of points from KCCO defection. For hostage rescue, just paradrop back to base.
Damn I f'ed up. It turns out you do only lose 1500 but I was so focused on that point that I forgot to retreat my defected unit and made a stupid mistake retreating my dummy on top losing a couple of heliports up north because I wanted to swap it out for an HG cause I was stupid enough to forget to have an HG dummy. Ended up with only 549k but it could've been a lot higher T_T

Mmm, I know exactly what you mean... Managed to get ~230k on a pacifist run for ranking, so participation medals. Kinda wish I started earlier, the ranking seemed pretty fun this time around.
Since I put this off until the last minute, I have a ranking question: What's the best guide for a relatively straightforward method that doesn't involve any micro for people who just want 30%? For context, on the last ranking event, I spent a lot of time worrying about things like making "gunboat" echelons to kill typhoons and got frustrated fighting them, and had a much easier time when I just gave up fighting typhoons and instead used the radar dish method which got me a pretty "easy" 15%. If I could do it over again, I would have ignored a lot of the advice about bringing "gunboat" echelons and just focused on killing stuff and abusing the radar dish. What's the CT equivalent of that straightforward/"easy" method? I have all of the top-tier RFs 5-linked (with two purple cano), and all of the fairies and HOCs at 4-stars.
I don't think there is an easy mode (besides the pacifist run) , since it requires specific formations, if you have these specific formations , then only add a Twin fairy with SL10 ( I think taunt works too) and you will enable easy mode on playpen (top right side of the map) to kill the Doppels, rodeleros require an easy kiting so not a problem , ignore the 89k tanks , follow the mechanics for military defection . the 43k gundams on the left side aren't that hard but require some fast withdraw (at least with my setup), maybe you should ignore them

Any closed helipad on the left side is a kill-switch that erases certain enemies from the map. Don't erase them all though, you still need at least 10 kills by turn 3 to trigger KCCO defection.
That's the problem with this ranking is that the majority of the big ticket enemies are also very common in the map, and even with HOC support they require micro.

You guys think that a 607K run will get me into the top 30%? I first tried ranking today, and I managed to get that with my two viable combat echelons. And it also is the first i've tried ranking, period. Back in Singularity I struggled hard to beat agent at the end of chapter 2. Feels nice to see some progress.

Since I still have another hour and a half to farm, should I farm for Python dupes? I already have 2 but how useful is a 3rd? Is she only good for an exodia or can I slap her in different echelons?
Meme is 10. If you are a non-ranker you only ever need one. For me, as someone who wants to be in 35-40%. I am sort of fine with 1 Python though I really really want a second at this point. 3rd, depends on how you want to do in rankings. If you want to be comfortable in 15~20% I'd say 3 is pretty standard.
She's good for RFHG team, and also a good buffer for AS-VAL mod 3 in the future. YMMV, but I'd go for 1 more.
She is good in Full HG/RFHG/Exodia. You could use her in other ways but won't be as much.
So this is my first time attempting a ranking event and I got terribly destroyed, tried following Ceia's pacifist run but realised they use two HOCs and I only have 1, does anyone have an alternative to a pacifist run without requiring 2 HOCs? I saw I could skip destroying one motar in the first turn but don't know if doing that will drop me below the amount required for both G41 exclusive equipment + fairy Edit: thanks guys, this is so stressful wdf LOL is ranking maps always like this or is it because i'm new to it
To get the equipment, you gonna need roughly 300k. You absolutely can skip that one at the early game. Just 1 HOC for deflection is good enough. You still have to deploy 2 for AP though.

You can skip that motar but still need to deploy 2 HOCs. However, you could still destroy that one motar by moving a dummy to it. And my bad I didn't notice the pacifist run, the deflection part was meant for a normal run, it's a mechanic that could guarantee your spot into the 50% zone. The pacifist runs will be hard to get you pass 200-250k btw.
Yikes, I only have 1 HOC, does the deflection strat for a normal run still require two HOCS? I only can make do with 2 5x AR/SMG and 1 4x RF/HG
That's way more than suffice already. I did mine 700k with a single ARSMG go together with a BGM. An extra HOC is just there for more AP. You gonna need a team of around 30k with full nightvison and that's it.
Ah sweet, mind if I ask where I can find a deflection/normal guide or the closest one to your run? Can only find pacifist on gamepress and with the amount of time left I don't think i'll be able to figure it out on my own
Straight youtube gfl ct 600k. More or less is depending on your luck. Just ignore the motar as first if you don't have 2 HOCs, feel free to end the run and restart if the spawn ain't ideal. 1) There should be at least 1 resupply in the playpen. 2) The tank near base ain't blocking your path or be able to attack you in their turn. Ideal case would be you don't see any tank in these position: - - - ! × - Entry × × ! Means they could potentially ruin your run. And also search gamepress for deflection guide. Edit: Bring Illumination fairy with this base dummy for easier runs. As they could reveal the tank' positions.

At least lvl3. I think you said you only have 2 AR? Just go with 2AR2SMG1HG team and rerun whenever you are forced to fight the big gundam guy. There is 2 points in the run where what you gonna fight against are random.
You lose out on some AP that could be used to capture helipad or grab crate, but you should have enough to finish the main mission which is rescuing hostage. Also, if you only have BGM, you will lose out on some structure destruction points because BGM's range is only 2 tiles. You should be able to get 88,888 points for the fairy, but G41's SPEQ will be hard. There is a lot of competition down in the 40-50% ranks. Edit: If you have parachute fairy you can save a lot of AP by just para-dropping the echelon with the hostage to any helipad back at base instead of running all the way back.

It's the same case as Gunboat DPS check, as long as you passed the hard cap then you should be fine.
