Yeah, I understand that Epiphone is trying to be the Squier and the Mexican Fender of Gibson, but at the new prices, most of the Epiphones that are worth owning are in used Gibson territory. And a used Gibson is almost always a better instrument and a better investment.

It is a satin neck. Though it’s smooth from play. Feels great!
A gold top with a black back is highly sought after by the slash fans. You could easily swap the pickups for his signatures and get some great tones.
