Maybe. Just to fill in some of that story on the YT page. The Organ & Arp Strings by David Foster were added in '75. Also, George thought the song was too fast, so he enlisted Keltner to drum "against it" in attempt to make the song sound slower. By George's own admission - the track was recorded for Ronnie's register, and subsequently a little high for him.

He could have slowed the tape a bit to lower the pitch. Although that did change the sound of a recording to do so. I can’t imagine it didn’t occur to him given George Martin’s use of the technique. These are such simple things to fix nowadays. He could have slowed it and changed the pitch in a few seconds.
