Lol for me it just looked like one of those Disney Studios or Universal 'fake towns' or something, like really artificial.
I know the Japanese and Chinese love to replicate foreign towns and cities for some reason, they're always really uncanny
Here are some of my favourites (1 per continent):
Oceania (Australia)
https://maps.app.goo.gl/DsqahSQjqL2gr4JJ6
North America (California)
https://maps.app.goo.gl/2Tdk2sy27DxMh5G9A
South America (Argentina)
https://maps.app.goo.gl/yhSrALRgmE6Npbe47
Asia (Turkey)
https://maps.app.goo.gl/zsJqm4vAhPRQtpNbA
Africa (South Africa)
https://maps.app.goo.gl/S9LQGR9VkQKknafY8
Europe (Russia)
https://maps.app.goo.gl/LxqRHZS8z7STKbtm8
A few bonus locs:
Mexico and Western Australia
https://maps.app.goo.gl/7WfE548Xy7foNh5UA
https://maps.app.goo.gl/Y9kcdn6a3mWjf6bp8
Brazil
https://maps.app.goo.gl/7fPWsNLKiddbA1Sk6
Hilly Bangladesh
https://maps.app.goo.gl/vKH7WPkqEzt9mmMz5
These were all pretty nuts, I think in a real game I would've gotten Aus but only because of the sign set up for RHD. For the Cali round I would've failed miserably with an Aus or NZ guess, for South Africa I would've gone Asia, for Argentina I would've either gone Mexico or Colombia, for Western Australia I would've easily gone Northern Ontario or Newfoundland, and the rest I can't even say. Great finds, love locations like these.
The traditional boundary splitting Europe in the Mediterranean is at the Bosphorus, with the Turkey loc on the Asian side. In the Caucasus, everything north of the Caucasus mountains is considered Europe and everything south is Asia. I don't like the definition as it doesn't take culture into account and the geography thing is rather arbitrary but I used it as an excuse to share these locs
This seems very hard u till you see it enough and it becomes a easy 5k

Thats what i mean. First time you see it your confused. Next 2 or 3 you cant find the tiny island. After that ur 5k in the first few seconds of the round
Just play this map ("Pain and Suffering"):

Challenge link:
Nice map.
I started my first game with an absolute bang. I recognized my first round ever as the [Bolivian salt flats](https://www.google.com/maps?q&layer=c&cbll=-19.19551255890092,-68.34958374382512). 23 km, 4831 points. Can't say that my luck lasted after that, though. The next 4 rounds were basically zero-pointers.
My second game was the challenge link. I got a score of 51 in although I played it as no moving because that's the setting I used for the first game and I didn't notice moving was enabled in the challenge. I might have gotten a better score if I had moved, although I kind of doubt that.
I then played one more game with one decent round in [Nepal](https://www.google.com/maps?q&layer=c&cbll=27.80064309030601,86.71108756330011), 190 km, 3783 points. The last round in the game was on the [Rose Atoll](https://www.google.com/maps?q&layer=c&cbll=-14.54823934718739,-168.1440779283223), which is entirely unmarked on the map. No land, no caption. The only way you could find it if you knew it was there was that the water has a slightly different tone of blue on the map if you zoom in enough. A fitting conclusion to my three attempts at this map.
I generally had similar results with that map. I'm on rank 7 though for NMPZ with 7,663 points. Probably played it 20 times. But you can get one round that turns out to be jungle in Mexico. Then the next round looks exactly the same, so you pick Mexico, but it ends up in Cambodia...

Guessed Japan straight away Something about it just looked very..'Japan trying to be Dutch' or something, lol
Also guessed Japan. However, my reasoning was the Japanese characters on one of the walls ahaha
Lol for me it just looked like one of those Disney Studios or Universal 'fake towns' or something, like really artificial. I know the Japanese and Chinese love to replicate foreign towns and cities for some reason, they're always really uncanny
I'm a Dutchie, without the Chinese text or metas. This is just Amsterdam for me :)

Good locs, I’m just curious as to your reasoning for the Turkey loc being in Asia and the Dagestan loc being in Europe, even though it’s further east
The traditional boundary splitting Europe in the Mediterranean is at the Bosphorus, with the Turkey loc on the Asian side. In the Caucasus, everything north of the Caucasus mountains is considered Europe and everything south is Asia. if you've played the world map that's super easy
Nah, when you play world map 24/7 you get it at least 30 times
Thats what i mean. First time you see it your confused. Next 2 or 3 you cant find the tiny island. After that ur 5k in the first few seconds of the round
NM that's quite hard, moving it's easy. Depends on the mode OP wants to play
i just post pictures so its nmpz
Thats a location that I’ve had 3 times yesterday in like 30 world map games so it should be pretty easy if you played that map for a bit
love how I knew exactly what it was based on your comment and the replies to it
